Bought some lumber here for a project. Took a while to find straight material but I did get it.👍👍👍 Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful.👍👍👍Lumber is better quality than Lowes in my opinion.

Overall, pretty poor experience. Everyone that worked there was either rude or unhelpful. I just had an accident and only had use of one arm, and the guy helping me load material, rushed me and told me he was off the clock and that I needed to hurry up. Haha, good customer service bro. Go to Siewers and save yourself the hassle.

I wouldn’t recommend going here. The employees are very rude and unhelpful. I needed some materials for a job and I had a few questions. I was completely rushed out of there like I wasn’t welcomed. These people were very unprofessional and not knowledgeable.

Nope, never again. Not only are you proud of your material the quality is just not there. The guys in the yard were awesome. I stress that you price check before you go. Someone must need extra money for their house in the Hamptons.....

Ruffin & Payne was a pleasure to work with and I will continue to use their services. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I needed an order at the last minute and their staff greeted me with open arms and made sure I got what I needed. Their prices are reasonable and the product was exactly what I was looking for. I cant express again how pleased I was with their services. Keep up the good work!

Do not spend money with Ruffin Payne. In addition to the delivery drop off being just unprofessionally done / wood was literally broken and hanging 3/4ths of the way into the public right of way. Also the wrong wood and instead of just crediting us, picking this up and sending what need, they said they would charge us 20% handling fee to pick up, refund us the rest and couldn’t get us what we needed plus we gotta wait till Friday to get a refund and for them to get this out of the right of way. They are literally in the way. A fire hydrant wasright next to to where the wood was in the right of way. God forbid there was an emergency and the fire truck needed to be where the wood was sitting.

Really great place! Experienced guys who do old school carpentry work as well. Kiln dried ground contact pressure treated is available here. The company I work for always uses these guys.

Disappointed with the service. Only two guys at the front desk, with at least 3 of us waiting, while other employees were milling around, drinking coffee and staring at those of us who stood in line no less than 25 minutes . . . Then, when I finally got some help, and asked for pricing on a specific style of door moulding, I was told they would have to call the company who produced it to find out. I didnt want the poor blokes behind me waiting any longer, and had already decided that if I couldnt get any faster service and expertise than that anyway, I wasnt going to pursue purchasing - so I left. There was no acknowledgement from anyone upon entering initially, and I could overhear someone answering the phone saying that all sales people were busy and would have to call back later. It was very disappointing, as I had just come from another lumber supplier whose office was very busy - but they greeted me upon entering; and then helped me ASAP in choosing the moulding - and then they were able to quote me a price - and gave me a booklet of moulding styles, and printed out the quote. Ruffin and Payne is either understaffed, untrained in customer service, or both.

Went to get lumber, was told they have a few of what I needed. Didnt offer to order. Whats the point of a lumber yard if you dont want to sell $1000s worth of lumber if the size I want.
