Buyer beware!!Hired MultiplexHome for bathroom and kitchen upgrades, all went well until we found issues in regards to substandard plumbing work done by their subcontractors, it has been a cat and mouse game since December even though the work was still under warranty. I had to pay out of pocket to rectify substandard work done by MultiplexHome, whenever I called it was just stories meanwhile the kitchen was leaking, master bathroom and guest room. No ownership of the issue even after paying ~$9,000/- for the renovations, I would not consider doing business with them againI have attached pictures pointing towards leaking plumbing for master bedroomBelow are the issues I had to fix as a result of substandard work which was not honored after 2 months of calling the office and the company providing excuses1. Kitchen sink leaking- plumbers putty was not used during the connection to the sink- hot water pipe was interchanged with cold water pipe- dishwasher electrical connection connected to the garbage disposal2. Master bedroom sink leaking- plumbers putty not used causing leaking, company blamed it on A/C not related3. Second bedroom sink leaking- plumbers putty not used

I found these guys through home advisor and although they don’t have much reviews, the reviews they had seemed really good until we started discussing pricing. Juzar was nice but didn’t seem to want to discuss our needs as a customer. We informed him from the beginning we had a budget therefore we asked him for two different estimates to renew our flooring. One of the estimates was for renewing our whole floor and another one was just for the living room kitchen and hallway. Both prices he gave us were the same! It caught us off guard and also that he NEVER provided an actual estimate everything he would tell me was through text. Didn’t seem professional like the other company’s we had received an estimate from. He then went to say he didn’t remember what he had measured on the first estimate. He then blamed us for the flooring we had chosen at his store and said it was really expensive and was why he quoted us the same. Although he knew we were in a tight budget and was the one who gave us the options for the flooring without including the price! He seemed really nice but towards the end he got a bit of an attitude and told me he didn’t know what we wanted when I was really clear the type of flooring and the budget we had.In response to your reply, owner of Multiplex, the kitchen was always included!! This is the reason why we are changing our flooring in the first place! That was the issue, Juzar did not write down anything at all he would only calculate through his phone and guessed how much he would charge us. Compared to other estimates we received just seemed more professional they would write down everything we wanted from the get go! And provided an actual written estimates, not just through text. I was very clear with Juzar on the type of flooring we wanted and he even provided samples for us. But at the end when I asked why both estimates were the same he said because of the flooring we chose in which we had let him know from the beginning what type we wanted and our budget for the project. But now your saying because the kitchen wasnt included? Im sorry but Juzar knows perfectly well that was not the case! Especially when I confronted him about the pricing he was stuck and didnt know how to respond. He then gave me a little attitude and said he did not know what we wanted!! That was it for me! Please dont say you have tried to contact me several times I only received one missed call and a voicemail afterhours.
