Nice place with tons of stuff ... didnt find anything we needed at the moment but definitely found things that could come in handy later

1st time there, there was alot of interesting stuff but it was close to closing! Next time! They close early especially on a Saturday.

This is a great place to find used DIY materials, appliances, furniture, decorator items, etc. If they dont have what youre looking for today, they might have it next week.

I needed a washing machine due to the fact that my landlord is a crook and refused to repair the broken one that never worked. I stopped by the Restore and talked with the manager, Marsha. They didnt have something that I could afford, but she said she would keep an eye out. I did buy a stove top that worked great on that trip. A few weeks later the manager called me and suggested that I take a look at a washing machine that had been received. I do not own a vehicle nor drive. She helped me arrange a delivery. All at a fair price. Everything works great. I am thankful!

Review regarding donation pick-up:My folks sold their home and had about 2 rooms worth of miscellaneous items to donate. The website was pretty clear with the donation pickup application and we had a response with a day which was great. Although we didnt hear back on an exact timeframe for the pickup, we did get a call 30 min prior and the gentlemen who came were just great! I am out-of-state and it put my mind at ease to know that my parents had no issues at all with the pickup, and they could not stop saying good things about the 2 gentlemen who came to gather the items! My mom is now all about the ReStore (they explained more about Habitats mission to her) and soon after we received the email w/ the tax deductible receipt.A very easy process with professional, kind people. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone needing to donate items to a solid organization.

You never know what youll find. New and used items. Some things ready to use. Others perfect for refinishing. Everything from fixtures to furniture to cabinets, plus housewares and artwork. Helpful staff, too.

Needed a door. Pretty large selection. Other items available at a fair price. Will go back

Came to the Restore and met some great people. Picked up an old lamp and some cool milk glass. They have some full size commercial windows that someone could build a glass wall. Great place and greater people. I’ll be back.

Good variety of items. Unfortunately, thats the only positive here. Way overpriced for a resale/thrift store. Each visit Ive made I repeatedly hear from employees (?) volunteers (?) Oh! Its priced that way because it retails for such & such If I wanted retail pricing, Id shop the retail stores as opposed to purchasing dirty used items.

Good store one of the best around. Went to the other store in Petersburg 8n Chesterfield in not like those the richmond store is better.

If youre budget for renovations and decor is shoe string, Restore is the best. from appliances, furniture, and fixtures.The decor area had a biscuit cutter for a $1Lots of Bang for the Buck!

I was surprised at what was in that place and prices were low for what a handyman needs I enjoyed the diversity of stuff they carried

Like the Richmond VA location better a lot cheaper better finds but the proceeds help fund those family needing habitat of humanity services. Think 3 steps up from Salvation Army stores in a close second to any thrift store.

I have bought several things from here. They are a bit pricey but you can sometimes find some great things.

This is a big and clean store. It is way over priced, I thought they wanted to sell stuff. But they can keep all of it at those prices.

Tuna is exceptional. Also the strawberry banana smoothie!

They have a great variety of products that cycle in and out. Great place to stop in again and again if you are doing a remodel or looking for something specific. Ive found everything from light fixtures and bathroom vanities to door replacements and unique furniture.

We are furnishing a whole house after a cross country car move and this place is amazing. Incredible finds at reasonable prices. Check back often as inventory changes daily. Only downside is double check stuff before you buy. Have gotten home to find stains or damage that might have given me pause over price.

Best type of thrift store (non-profit organization)!! Inventory changes based on donations. You can find pretty much anything except 2nd hand clothing. Great deals and the proceeds help build homes for people in need within the local community. Employees are friendly and helpful! Covid-19 compliant👍✔✔✔😷

The prices here were significantly higher than other Habitat stores. Make sure you know the prices for the same items new.

I am very pleased there is a restore this side of town...staff was courteous and the hardware I needed for an honest discount. ..a donation/discount voucher program would be an excellent service for habitat.

I used to love this place, as a matter of fact I furnished an entire room from here for about $125, but they jacked their prices you cant even buy one piece there for that much. I guess they suddenly got someone who thinks they know how to price stuff, but they dont understand people go to thrift stores for good deals not $200 China sets they can buy on eBay for 50.

This is a great thrift/secondhand store! The prices are really fair, great customer service, and an ever changing inventory. They have a color system where prices go down 25% every 2 weeks. We’ve purchased new and used items - furniture, lighting, bathroom vanity, mirrors, housewares / home decor, fabric, etc. They also offer a free pick up for donations. If you are looking to remodel your home on the cheap, this is your go-to!

Still required to wear masks in the store and restrooms are still not open. Looks like prices have really gone up

I was hoping to find an item listed for sale but it was no longer available. The greeter at the door was friendly, shoppers were wearing masks and staying distant from each other. Glad to see the store has reopened to the public.

It was REALLY expensive. Compared to other Restores is was grossly overpriced, $450 for a desk that needed refinishing? Not much for building materials, I wouldnt go back to this one. Big let down.

Great place. You never know what youre going to find. Staff is always super helpful. Its a funny place where the people working there are normal and the customers are weird LOL. If you are there and you find something you like, you need to get it right away because next time you come back it will be gone. its such a great place to go treasure hunting!

Its a nice place and the proceeds go to a good cause. I personally think things are a little bit overpriced in there. But you can still find a deal once in awhile. Happy hunting

Marsha was the least polite or helpful person I’ve ever met at a Habitat. Every other person I have ever encountered at Habitats all over VA have been energized and kind. This woman is routinely dismal, bitter, dismissive and curt. I’ve watched it several times. Finally hit me. I’m probably not going to darken the door at this location again. I routinely frequent the stores and spend thousands a year at them. They’re a great resource for projects. Don’t go here until she’s gone will be my rule.

You can find some really really good deals. I really had no idea with the habitat or the restore was I just accidentally went in there one day I think they could do a little bit more advertising and it would might help him out a little bit but their prices arent bad and you really can find a bunch of strange things there if youre looking for hinges and screws and nails in carpet and vinyl and stuff like that for a really good price theyve got it a lot of people dont know about it but if you go in there I dont think youll be disappointed

I enjoy browsing here. You never know what you might find. Found some great items to update my she shed. Staff are always pleasant and helpful.

I always enjoyed going in here and seeing what they have available as every time I go is something new on the showroom floor.

Just really not as great as the Richmond store. its prices are much higher, there a lot of things that are actually like outlet furniture with tags on it. and then a whole section of the store it just useless kitch made of plastic. Really doesnt feel like a Restore.

Midlothian Store--Sadly, I had to change my review of this store. Ever since they opened back up after being closed from Covid I have been so disappointed 😞. They have done away with their colored discounts where they would reduce merchandise by 25%, 50% and then 75% based on how long the items have been in the store. They are now only doing one discount. There was a certain thrill in going in week after week watching to see if an item was reduced and how much you were willing to gamble it would be there the following week.The general pricing on the other items seems to be extremely way OFF-very high. The thrill of finding those treasure items.... No longer there. I understand this store is raising money for charity but the items are donated and the prices do not elicit sales in my opinion.

Looks more like a thrift store than any of the other Habitat stores I go to. & Ive gone to all of them in the Richmond & surrounding areas. Very lil salvage stuff to do any repairs to a home.If youre looking for furniture then this is the place to go, if youre looking for stuff to make repairs to I suggest going to the Hanover Habitat location!!! That store has tons of stuff to make home repairs with!!!

First time I wasnt excited about it and reviewed it with less stars. Management personally wrote to me. Thats impressive, 5 stars.

They used to be great, now they have stuff priced at retail price. it is ridiculous! I find stuff cheaper at Target than I do here.

The best store for savings on quality house hold items and you get the opportunity to help someone less fortunate than you. Shopping with a purpose. Beautiful finds unique purchases priced and found at no other storeor locations.

The store is in a densely populated area. The prices are higher than other Habitat stores. Great staff who enjoy working there and staging the furniture.

Man at the counter ringing up my sales was also busy text messaging on his phone. Then had the nerve to ask did I want my several items in a bag. When I replied yes he handed me two grocery store bags which my husband and I filled ourselves. Wont buy anything if he is manning the desk. Poor service indeed for my hard earned money.

We donated some home furnishings as well as a sliding patio door. Very smooth process including their helping, actually mostly handing the unloading.

Whoever is pricing the items are really out of touch. Every item I examined was overpriced. Mugs $5 that should be $1. Paper cocktail napkins that can be bought at Dollar Trer for $1 priced at $3. Bowels $10...could be had at Goodwill for $4.

The only knock on it is the type of place you have to check back at constantly. You may go five times and not purchase anything. Then on your sixth trip boom the motherlode.

Surprised to see furniture for sale-really thought it would be cabinets and fixtures removed from remodeled homes. No real cabinetry to speak of-had a few individual base cabinets and vanities-was hoping to get older solid wood i could refinish.
