Dairy Queen Richmond Indiana.At one time not too many years ago Richmond Indiana Dairy Queen was a treat worth the while but judging by todays experience, I cant see a very bright future for this local business. Even though the customer base is still attending the new management doesnt seem to value that customer base and those customers will certainly find a more eager locally owned business to frequent. The service was mediocre with no smile or concern for the consumers satisfaction. Youll still find that good old Dairy Queen garnishment but the food it self is lacking. Maybe the lack of concern or communication for and to the customer takes from the taste. I wont be returning. Ill find some where else to spend my money. Cheer up Mr. Dairy Queen. Your customers depend on a friendly environment.

Ice cream 🍦, Blizzards, Sundays, need I say more? Fast staff. Love it!

I have no idea respectfully why there are so many positive reviews for this place. Ive lived all across the country and this is the single worst dq ive visited.1. they have only half of what the menu offers at this location (why? idk).2. i just ordered a mint chocolate shake and it was handed to me so melted i could see all the mint chocolate chips floating around.3. i also tried a dipped cone (a very easy and simple classic i thought should be better then the shake experience) which again was handed to me already runny and the dipped shell was thinner then a 1 ply tissue.i hate writing bad reviews as Ive worked in the food industry for a while but today made me get to that point.Save yourself the struggle drive to an actual city based dq

Always love this place. I did however, order a pineapple mango smoothie and it was so terrible. I am the least picky person on earth, but this thing, it tasted like it has ten pounds of sugar added. Neither of those fruits are naturally that sweet. You couldnt even taste the actual fruit. Very very bad.

I used to live down the road from this Dairy Queen and would go there at least once or twice a week. Great treats, but the best by far (in my opinion) is their strawberry cooler. If I had to choose what I wanted for my last meal, this would definitely be one of the things I picked. Simple enough (just a slushie with strawberry syrup and strawberries in it), but my God, so good. The owner and employees there are very nice, too. I was there so often, as soon as the owner saw me, he would start to make my drink for me, without me having to order yet. We would always laugh about it, lol. He was so nice, that one night when he was already basically closed (I was running late, saw that the sign was turned off, and pulled in to turn around), but he waved me to the window, and still made my drink for me! Such a nice guy. Ive since moved and live half an hour away now, so unfortunately, I dont get to go there and get my drink anymore (maybe every great now and then, and so far, he still remembers me, lol) but I sure do miss going there all the time. Not just because of my drink, but also (and mostly), because of the kindness of that guy.

Dont go there much since food allergies can be affected. However love the blue raspberry misty misty.

Was not a good customer service experience. Went to a different location, locally. Did receive a follow-up message about the experience, from DQ: could not receive 2 coney dogs, though all the individual supplies existed. It was busy when giving the order, which should be beared in mind. The location on the other side of town filled, and completed the order.

Really do enjoy the ice cream but very disappointed that employees never wear a mask. Visited this location 2 weeks ago and again tonight, same both times. None of the employees wear masks.

The ice cream is delicious and the staff is very nice. I also like the benches so you can enjoy your treat outside instead of in your car.

The ice cream is good. The people that come here are not. Junkies, hookers and dealers frequent this place. Ive had someone attempt to pick my pocket here as well as crazy homeless folks beg me for money. Its usually a 20 minute wait during peak times.

Stopped by for a quick lunch, got a chocolate malt and a couple corn dogs..the malt was awesome but the corn dogs were like the ones you get at the grocery store then microwave at home, soft and flimsy. Im not sure why they dont fry them since they have a French fryer..maybe its just quicker I suppose.Lesson learned, when you go to an ice cream stand...stick with the ice cream.

Just something about those first warm evenings of the season... or those sweltering Midwestern Summer nights that make doing DQ almost an Iconic part of Americana.. lolSeriously though, the present day experience of lining up outdoors with neighbors and others of like mind... awaiting your turn at the window... indecisive as those before you walk past with their choices.. talk of the weather, kids, your favorite treat... oh yeah, they have pretty good soft serve ice cream concoctions as well.

Dairy Queen is one my favs don’t get me wrong. This location has the ABSOLUTE worst customer service I have ever seen. I would usually have no complaints. But I waited in line a Thursday night around 8 pm for 33 minutes, while the 2 chicks working inside were chatting away. I waited patiently as there was a family in front of me ordering. 30 mins go by and I’m starting to think they needed to milk the cow in the back room for my ice cream. Lady opens the other window and starts helping people in the line that has now formed behind us. Totally dismissing me and my family. I would never expect such long waits for a simple ice cream. This place is seriously losing money do to the service and wait time. Hope the owner sees this and attempts to atleast try and make some changes. Will take my business to other ice cream parlors.

BEWARE! This is not a real Dairy Queen. This is a dilapidated structure you must walk up to and wait to order Dairy Queen Ice Cream. I refuse to endorse a Dairy Queen that doesnt offer menu items such as an exquisite Chicken Strip Basket. Unfortunately, these things are all over this city.

Love the frozen treats and the hot food as well! Coneys and whimpies are a must and blizzards are fabulous! Theyre a little pricey but worth it cause its so tasty! They have great fountain drinks, I suggest a vanilla coke with every order! Lol

This Dairy Queen is seasonal. You can not go inside, theres no outside seating. You walk up to the window and order.
