We had the best experience at Riverside Kia! We live almost 2 hours away so I worked with Judy via email and phone. She was fantastic - personable, responded quickly, and found exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I shopped around and spoke with about 10 dealerships - Riverside Kia by far had the best prices and best customer service (via phone and in person). Purchase process was really smooth and each person I worked with was friendly and positive - they seemed more interested in helping and building a relationship rather than pressuring us into buying something. I would highly recommend!

Our salesperson Linda was great to work with. She was very responsive and friendly. We contacted her via online and email initially for a 2021 Kia Forte and she worked with us to get the best price within a few hours on a Friday. Next thing we know, we were driving from LA to Riverside to buy the car that night! Not only she was patient with our long drive there and had all the people lined up to make the transaction well after the closing time, she took time to let us do a test drive and showed us all the features in the car! Lindas customer service was top notch and we thank her very much for making our car buying experience a great one.

What a wonderful experience. Team Riverside Kia were so friendly. The environment was upbeat. Staff worked as a team. Very hospitable. I felt like we were at a private party.Judy was wonderful. She told us the price off the lot with taxes and all BEFORE we drove 1 1/2 hrs to get it.We filled out the application online as we drove over. Judy had it completed AND the KIA was parked in the front lot when we pulled up.Judy offered us snacks and water. Snacks from her personal content.What a party.Brian in financing covered everything. He was extremely friendly. The General Manager invited us back for a free tank of gas and free first oil change.We left the Nissan family to Go KIA.This is our SECOND KIA. We now own two.We are racing fans. I have been buying cars for over 40 years. I have never had such a pleasant experience.We are a raving fan.Go Team Riverside Kia. From our first contact with Fabio’s greeting and walking us through a couple of vehicle models we were interested in, to John taking us for our test drive and answering all our questions as we were investigating all our options. I bought a 2022 Kia Soul and had an amazing experience. Isaiah helped me out and was very helpful. He wasn’t pushy at all like some car dealers are. I had a price range of what I was willing to spend and he got the car into my price range. He has been checking in to see how I am enjoying my car and I love it. He is also very open and told me I can contact him at any time if I have more questions. The whole process of buying my car was easy and smooth.

Came in today to test drive a new 2021 Kia Forte GT and ended up closing a deal on it. I met with Ivan in sales and he was incredibly helpful and courteous. He took the time to answer all my questions and showed me each aspect of the vehicle in detail (dashboard controls, infotainment, safety tech, internal and external features). I didnt feel any pressure to pay for anything I didnt want and was given multiple pricing options to lease the vehicle. Bryan in finance was fantastic as well. He was very transparent about all the paperwork and got everything done quickly. Im really glad I came in as this was the only Forte available in the color and trim I wanted within 100 miles!

Me and my father purchased a car there in August of 2021. We contacted the dealer from out of state, and a salesman said there would be no fees associated with the purchase of our selected vehicle, besides sales tax, and registration. We placed a deposit, and traveled from Utah. When we arrived, the vehicle was not even cleaned on the inside, unlike the rest of their used cars for sale. We purchased it, and the unclear salesman hid other fees by writing out the total additional amount in pen, not even printed next to what the fee was for! He said the amount was ONLY tax. I proved him wrong by pulling up the correct percent of sales tax. His grumpy boss came over and said there were more fees. Even though they said I would only pay tax/registration, they would not waive ANY OF THE FEES!!! These included emission, tire fees (BS), doc fee, and about four other fees! We were pressured into buying it. The dealer then took an extra 400 out of our account, and said they messed up. They said it would be refunded in 3 days but could not give us any paperwork saying it would. Its been a month, and we have received no title in the mail. We also have not been refunded!! The dealer said they cant send us the title, because they do not have it. Therefore, the car isnt even mine!!

It is 2:10pm and I have been here at the Riverside KIA since 10:25am. I brought my sons 2020 Soul in due to a recall. My appointment was at 10:30am and after checking in I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. I LITERALLY just saw them pull the car into the bay. RIDICULOUS. I fully expect to be here for another 2 fricken hours since they just started working on it. What the hell use is an appointment ? If they had told me it was going to take 6 hours, Id have gone home. Thanks for wasting my entire Saturday Riverside KIA.Update: at 2:35, they said they had finished the oil piston ring replacement and that they would bring the car out after the washing it. I asked them what was done and whether the engine was inspected. I asked specifically because the recall stated that the defective oil ring could cause engine damage. They said yes.Well, I just got home (3:15pm) and read the letter from KIA and in it, they state the inspection itself should take 1-2 hours. My guess is that the tech popped the hood, took a quick peak at the top and didnt go beyond that or do a d@mn thing. I will be contacting KIA corporate though I doubt they will do anything either.

I had to give 1 star but really they deserve no starts. I am not happy with my experience at all. I dropped my car off and was told it would be a couple weeks for an answer. After a couple weeks I called and they said they would have an answer the following week. And every week after that it was we will have an answer for you the following week. My car was at the dealership for 7 weeks and when they could finally tell me what was wrong with my car they told me that they charged my battery and said they cleared the codes that it was ready and was now driving correctly. Mind you my engine was replaced by this dealership in December and since then I have been her three times for the same issues. And every time it’s the same thing..... nothing is wrong with your car. I picked my car up and it was so dirty. Dirt on top of dirt. So basically I paid $130 for my car to be kept in storage for 7 weeks to collect dust.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced having my car serviced. I called to schedule an appointment for an issue with my trunk. The representative gave me a Saturday appointment, only to find out when I arrived that a certified technician would not be available until Monday and I would be without my car until then. I called on Monday to check the status of my vehicle and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes was told that I would be called back because they were unsure of the status. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of appropriate customer service. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the service technician on Saturday was pleasant and listened when I complained to her.

Needed light assembly replaced. Took over a month to get scheduled in the service dept. When I arrived was told the part was sent back to factory. However she took an extra moment to verify and was able to find part. Also went the extra mile to insure it was replaced and I was on the road in a timely manner. Greatly appreciated

Honestly I love Kia but they took extremely long to service my Seltos the appointment was at the 10am and I didn’t leave till 3:00pm also there shuttle program kinda stinks it only covers 10miles and I left without getting my Seltos washed if not it would of token longer and the communication is kinda bad with customers I’m just very disappointed this time around!

I bought my vehicle here and had the worst customer service experience of my life at this Kia of Riverside. People don’t like to return phone calls, they procrastinate, and act like your the one bothering them when your calling for help. Especially being a woman they talked down to me and acted like I had no idea what I was talking about. All roses when they want to sell you the car but after paperwork is said and done nobody knows nothing. Go somewhere else if your looking to buy your Kia.

First of all. I was told that the engine on my KiaSoul did not passed a test and for that reason the engine needed to be replaced. The engine was ordered and after a month I took my Kia to Riverside Kia Repair Center. They gave me a rental and told me that it’ll take a week to complete the job. After two weeks, I call to have an update on my car, the person who answered the call explained that the engine wasn’t there yet. It was on order and it’ll take another month to get there. The following day I received a call from the dealer saying that my car had passed all the tests that previously had failed.I think they are MAGICIANS. They told me to go pick my Kia up that nothing was wrong with it. That really concerned me more than the previous evaluation. I should have given zero stars. Now I’m so worried about my car. I’m afraid that something is really wrong with it. Well, time will tell.

Very unhappy with my service at Riverside Kia. The earliest I could get a service appointment for an oil change was 1 1/2 months out, I was unable to reach them by phone the week of my appointment because their phone system was down. On Google their opening hours are listed as 7:30 am Monday through Saturday but when I arrived to drop my car off they informed me they don’t open until 8 am on Saturday. Their car wash wasn’t working so they gave me a coupon for a gas station car wash around the corner. The upside of my service was that they completed my service on time and were friendly when they called to inform me what services were needed.

Went to Riverside Kia to buy a 2021 Kia Sorento. They had the one we saw online. Salesmen were great!! Very helpful and nice. After we bought the car, they “detailed it”. Coming from the show car community, this was a quick wash and wiped a few things down.. you’d think when you buy a new car it would come clean. It was not at all. Had to take it home and redetail it.Pour maintenance for cars. Great customer survive

Fog light burned out, took 2 weeks to get service appointment, then when I arrive they tell me oh, we dont have it, well call you Monday. One week later still cant reach anyone to help. Also was told by service rep. Kia cant figure out why they have fog light issue s but dont worry theyll cover it for 12 months, after that Im on my own.

The left rear lower tail light is loose since I bought the car and a few days after buying I wiped the car and noticed about the light. Today after asking to repair it the team decided on their own that I had a collision and the lower light bracket is broken. But they found no sctatch, said something hit from under and gave me body shops address to go and get repaired. It has warranty for bumper to bumper, as far as I know. I am writing because I was asked for a review. I consider it as their shameful act! 9/18/21 Whenever I think about that day Im totally not satisfied. I think the technicians there are useles and they only know petty services to perform. Shame of you guys. You are taking salaries from KIA but useless.10/6/21 My niece wanted to buy a car and I persuaded her to try at KIA and she bought Kia Forte on July 4th. 2021.and I regret for that. Their 10 year warranty is rather rubbish indeed.

Friendly staff. Price’s are high but mostly posted and not secret or surprising. It is hard to get an appointment and there hold music is not tuned in and annoying. The waiting area is comfortable. Cold Bottled water is nice. The coffee station sucks. No one who likes coffee would like it.

A little disappointing. I brought my Kia in because it came up under recall when i took it to my local shop for startup issues. First of all every time I call they put me on hold for 10 - 25 minutes. When they did the recall repair I had them diagnose the issue and they informed me it would take 2-3 weeks. Well at 3 weeks they had still not contacted me so I called and waited on hold for a very long time. Turns out they couldn’t find out what was wrong so they offered me some repairs based on mileage and wear and tear, i opted out. When i go in to pick up my car they cant find my car. About 4 different people are scrambling around to find the car and then when they finally find it they can’t find the keys. So it just seems a little unprofessional and disorganized there. Anyway i got my car back and they didnt charge me the diagnostic fee. I’m probably going to sell my car and look for a new one, and after having 2 recalls on my car and this experience i am definitely not getting another Kia.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. This is my son’s car 20 minutes after he picked it up from the service department. Yes, it’s leaking transmission fluid all over my driveway. His car was running well, we simply took it in to have the fuel injectors cleaned. The service department recommended that we service the transmission and the radiator fluid so we did. This is the result. Please don’t take your cars there for service. They obviously have no idea what they’re doing. Shame on you Riverside KIA.

I started financing my Kia K5 in March and a few weeks into the month, I started having Apple CarPlay issues. I finally decided to take it into Kia in June/July but they only had appointments available until August. My music would constantly cut out and it would occasionally disconnect entirely. Took my 2011 Sedona to solve engine ruffle idle after they replaced compressor on A/C system. After diagnostic they informed me A/C causing van to run ruffle is different problem although didnt do this prior to repair. Couldnt guarantee that repair they suggested now would solve problem. So essentially I waited 3 months to get appt. When I finally was able to get it checked they couldnt offer viable reason as to why van had ruff idle now and not before A/C repair, and couldnt guarantee new repair suggestion would solve my problem. Left very disappointed and unsure if I will return for service on other kia vehicles I own.

Customer service in the service department is a joke. I called every day to get an update on my car nobody ever called me back especially not my representative Gabi. After having my car for two weeks they were still not able to diagnose my problem and I had to take my car home. When I pick up the car it was something inside and out where they had left the windows fell down. I had asked for hours before I came to pick it up if they could please clean it and it was supposed to be cleaned by the time I got there. They also went through about a quarter of a tank of gas over the two weeks while trying to diagnose which I asked if they could replace and they did not. All I can say is WOW! After having a terrible, traumatizing time looking at vehicles from carmax, I left there in tears. A super sweet lady in the parking lot saw me having a breakdown, and suggested I go to Kia right down the road. I was looking for a used car at the time, because I didn’t think a new car was in my realm of possibility. My mom and I were greeted by James as soon as we arrived. He had a great personality right off the bat and was on my team from the beginning. He was so helpful and informative and helped get me a great price. Mo and Jose helped me with the rest of my paperwork and processing. I was honestly so grateful for how kind and fair I was treated. After having THE WORST TIME EVER at carmax, the guys here at Kia were so helpful the second I stepped in. I am so blessed to have gone the route I chose and I’m IN LOVE with my 2021 Kia Rio. Please PLEASE if you’re in the market for a new or used car, check out Kia and ask for James, Mo or Jose and I promise you will leave happy!

My experience with Kia of riverside has been great! We had some miscommunication on our numbers from a few days ago. I came in to verify and worked with frank Villa in finance as well as Jose Munos in sales. They made sure everything was resolved and made the experience super easy! Glad I bought my car from them!

Bought Used 2017 forte and literally had a check engine light 2 days after driving off the lot, service department has taken 3 days to diagnose my check engine light and can hardly keep track of my car. Disappointed overall, terrible first car purchase experience.

The sales people were nice to work with, but they were completely wrong about the California Clean Fuel Reward (CCFR) program that would have saved me $908, without costing them a cent. Despite asking several times if they could apply the CCFR rebate to the sale price, I was told that was something I would have to apply for through the DMV. After having bought the car and driven home, I looked up the DMV site to find I was right, the CCFR has to be applied at the point of sale by the retailer, and Kia Riverside is listed as a participating dealership. There was an old Clean Vehicle Rebate Program that the purchaser could apply for via the DMV, but that has expired, whereas the CCFR has been around since 2020 and needs to be applied by the dealership.TLDR: dont trust their word on which rebates you qualify for.EDIT: after I followed up about the lack of rebate, they appear to be fixing it a couple of months later. Will update again if the rebate check ever actually arrives.
