Nick helped me out when I needed an estimate for my insurance company after water damage. Empire today would not do that even though I had used them in the past. Well, never again! Carpet emporium did a great job. Glad I went with a local business. Go see Nick.
Awesome service! Got a great price for carpet for my upstairs from Nick, $3.79 a square foot installed and everything. He was very helpful during the selection process. Appreciated the friendliness of the installers when they came by as well as how fast they finished. Everything went by without a hitch!

Bought tile flooring for my down stairs. They did such a good job that I decided to have them install wood flooring upstairs too. After shopping around they had the best price and Vic did a good job taking care of me. It was worth the drive.

Take a minute to read; So I’ll start by saying that this entire ordeal was made all the more frustrating by Nick’s complete lack of communication with me during every problem that arose. I ordered my carpet and was given a date for the installers to be there which was a Sunday, when I called Saturday to confirm my appointment for the following day I was told they don’t do installs on Sundays (thanks Nick), I was than told they would be there Monday between 8 and 10, Monday comes and by noon still nobody has shown up, I call back to see what the issue is and after another 2-3 hours of waiting for a call back I’m told they had me down for the wrong date again. I would have to wait until Wednesday for the install. After another few days the carpet finally comes and has 3 huge slices through it as if somebody went at it with a utility knife, I call Carpet Emporium yet again to see how they will resolve the issue and Nick doesn’t seem to have been given the message from his installers that there was issue with the carpet (seems the lack of communication isn’t just with me) after finally hearing back from Nick I’m told that new carpet will have to be shipped from Georgia but they’ll try to get a “rush” order of it. Another week and some days go by and finally it arrives and is installed. Granted the carpet was finally installed it was for a back house unit that was to be rented on the first Monday I expected the installation, each time a delay arose I had to reimburse my renter money for the unit being unavailable, this was a very frustrating experience and I gathered that Nick’s main goal when I would call was to say whatever I wanted to hear to get me off the phone. After all was said and done I was given $300 off my total bill which was nothing compared to what I lost from my renter. This entire experience was extremely frustrating right down to the day I paid the bill, Nick was supposed to call me back with info on how much they would be taking off my tab and instead charged my card before communicating it to me. I have a few different rental units but will most certainly use a different company the next time I need flooring done, this ordeal was just too ridiculous to forget about anytime soon.
