I will never set foot back in this place as long as I live. I am so livid. Sometimes there is not one cart available and the line for check out gets longer everytime I am in the place. Today the other customers were standing in such disorder that I could not find a way to social distance. Only three cashiers working at all and only one had a light on. I had to give up and go home before I could even check out just because I was crowded out by other customers. Hire some more cashiers and do something about crowd control.

The prices here are inexpensive or reasonable. The selection is good, but not great. For any given product, you might get two or three national brands and a generic version. The service is good, again not great. Be careful where you park though, the parking lot is huge but the area the shopping carts are allowed to be used in is rather small. Park in the wrong spot and youll be forced to carry your groceries by hand the rest of the way to your car.

Cheaper than most of the common grocery stores but you have to bag your own groceries which adds to time spent in store. Stock seems well maintained. Clean and clutter free isles.

For Asian, avoid lining up to a fat and big cashier named ken w. He will never offer you plastic bags nor talk to you. Even if you say hello, he wont reply. It seems he has grudge to Asian. I confirmed it by lining up on him several times.

Ken W is the worst cashier ever. He will make you feel like youre in the south and he dont like your kind round these parts.

Awesome service, usually find everything I need. Security guards are great never felt intimidated. In all this time only one bad situation with one cashier that was being rude to a customer, but I know most of their names and are always friendly.

Staff at this store are way more friendly than expected considering the neighborhood. Selection is alright. With that being said I do not appreciate the checker Josie telling the lady in front of me she should get her vaccine to help other people, as if that’s her place to 1. ask and 2. Act appalled when people admit they are refusing it. Your employees do not have the right to decide what medical decisions customers make. She should keep her opinions to herself, I felt bad for the lady in front of me trying to defend a medical decision.

Its always a wonder when I go to this grocery store, they have the most interesting people there.

I tried the online shop and delivery service to my hotel, Im in town for work with very little time in my schedule. I was a little nervous about letting someone else pick out my produce, but I have to say, they were perfect! Definitely picked out the best one in the bunch. It was super convenient to shop the night before, and schedule the delivery the next day for when I was getting off work and arriving back home. Will definitely be using them again!

They have really good sales, good prices and the people that work their are really cheerful and helpful.

They have some stuff I need. But it’s not a pretty location, Lowkey ghetto. People yelling outside, people not wearing their masks right, terrible parking, and my car got towed by security.

A good selection of food as well as non food items such as paper towels, medicine, etc. Most of the employees are friendly, and all of them are pretty well knowledgeable of the store products and where they are located. Clean store, but could use a few more parking spaces. Overall a very good store to do your grocery shopping at. Very affordable.

This BBQ sauce has been my daughter’s favorite for 20 years - she was a fussy eater too. I have searched 2 stores in less than 24 hours searching for this Hunt’s BBQ sauce. That is the reason I have it ONE STAR here. The Food 4 Less on Chicago Avenue here in Riverside did NOT have Hunt’s BBQ sauce where the other BBQ condiments are located. I did do an online search and found 4 other listings but until I go to those stores in person I can not recommend this product is there.

Going through old receipts and barely noticed that the cashier “Ken W” ripped me off! I literally only bought one gallon of milk and a Powerade and he charged me for 2 gallons! guess I can’t go back now since this was 10 days ago smh

Did a little food shopping here at this grocery market and was pleasantly impressed. First of all, the place is so clean looking it sparkles.Rows, bundles, and bunches of great, fresh produce. A fresh deli, a bakery, fresh meat department, and much more at some of the best prices around.The checker/cashier was absolutely terrific too. What a fantastic establishment to buy all of your grocery supplies and goodies at!

Picked up some ribs to bbq today and we were able to be in and out rather quickly especially for a day like today

They have Tofu, but not on menu.. I asked for non sweet tofu.. the chef added veggies and it was one of the best dinners Ive had in a very long time. Did my body good feel. While I waited (lunch time) I witnessed customers come in and order from the precooked, behind the glass food, which looked very good too. The portions were so big that it was hard for them to close the carry out container. I would recommend this place in a second. Try the tofu, non sweet, yummy

Pleasant visit to the neighborhood grocery market. Friendly staff, not to mention young and active. They had tons of sales from produce to healthcare essentials. I purchased nearly 300$ worth of produce for a fraction of that due to the holiday sales. The best part of my visit was the fact that they had enough lanes open for faster checkout. All in all this was a great experience for me. I would recommend this food 4 less location for consumers.

Parking here is the number 1 issue. On top of that 2 cashiers started arguing in front of customers. Very u professional. A young woman and and older gentlemen. Called the manager about it but she didn’t seem to care. Some cashiers are excellent at customer service while those where not.

I usually have no problem here but tonight I tried to process a return for something purchased yesterday and the clerk said he couldnt because it is expired. I dont know what label he was reading because the best by date says Aug 2019 and its engraved in there so its impossible for me to manipulate anything. He then said he was the manager and refused to help me. I later called the location to explain the product isnt expired and he said come in the morning and hung up on me.This manager stereotyped me and thought I was some homeless trying to run a scam but when the receipt and best buy date proved he was wrong rather than processing the return he became disrespectful and refused to help. He needs firm coaching from the managers and I plan to take this up with corporate.

I have visited them several times for quick trips. They at times do not always have some grocery items available and their prices can be high. The parking is the biggest issue not enough and very narrow.

Good prices without having to use a club card. Not as wide of a selection as you get at Ralphs though. And forget about getting Diet anything here

This is a small Food for Less store. The staff are friendly and always willing to stop and assist customers. The store had been recently renovated. Selections may be limited due to the store size. My only complaint is if you shop early in the morning it is difficult as they are still stocking the shelves and pallets block the isles

Place is alright. Majority of the workers are nice, BUT let me tell you about this awful little man who works there. Im not sure what his name is I think its Bo.. but hes for sure one of the managers there. Wow. This dude needs anger management classes. On multiple occasions I have seen him being a complete a**hole to the workers. Like there is no reason to treat people that way. Hes so extra. Needs to treat people with respect. Not to mention when he walk past me the dude smelled like moldy, sweaty, bologna. Very disappointed with Food 4 Less for letting a person like him stay there.

Its a good store with everything you would expect to find in a food 4 less. But the area has not really been cleaned up much. The improvements down the street starting at Victoria Ave. have pushed most of the UNDESIRABLES in to the parking areas of Chicago Ave. & University Ave. This is clean and well stocked dispite how I feel about the area. The UCD student frequently shop here and the Stater bros down the road.

If you are late night shopper, like myself this place closes at midnight. Good prices great deals. Dont let the area fool you this food 4 less is still a good place to shop with friendy employees ready to help.

Fresh produce is here and a large selection of veggies. They have weekly sales upon entering the store... where the bulk items are at a nice price!

One of the most affordable places to buy vegetables and fruits in Riverside. Highly recommended if you are looking to buy groceries within reasonebly low prices.

Ive always liked Food 4 Less. Went there tonight for some Tillamook Ice Cream But they had a small selection which was kind of a disappointment. but they did have a good deal on there store brand Ice Cream. 2 for 5... and other than that everything else went swell. Check out was simple and Quick. I will be returning Soon. Till Next Time.

A standard bulk-purchase Krogers. If you want large amounts of boxed stuff like soda, dog food, etc. at a good price then this place is fine. But the fresh stuff like fruits and vegetables are below average.

Meat and produce seem to be on the edge of spoiling. Selection is poor, for example they have several brands of strawberry and grape jam and only 5 or 6 other flavors. Yoghurt, very limited flavor palette.

These guys need to have Health Inspection called on them. I go inside the mens room to use the toilet & they dont even have a toilet paper dispenser. All the rolls of toilet paper are resting on the ground next to the wall by the toilet. Absolutely disgusting.

I really hate the bag policy.and it also slows down the checkout process. Trying to guess or even remembering to carry these used bags is ridiculous. These bags will still end up on highways and the oceans. So what changed other than to profit off these bags we buy? That goes for most stores, so this is not just for you. I enjoy food for less for most things but what I dont like about this particular one is that its always crowded when I go.

The staff is really rude to the customers. I understand its not the nicest area. But that shouldnt mean you can be disrespectful.

Its not one of the better grocery stores. The lines some times move slow and always check ur experation date because the people that run the departments some times dont. Ive bought sour yogurts there! They have people come to check dates but they cant do the WHOLE STORE IN 1 DAY!

It is a great store! The prices are the best and the employees are the most friendly in town! Yara and her crew are all awesome! It isnt Vons or Stater Bros but the prices are much better and frankly when I bag my own groceries I know my bread wont be squished and my bags wont be too heavy! And I have always had smiling help getting my groceries to my car any time I asked.

Terrible customer service. Security guard and manager kept harassing us. Cashier didn’t ring our whole transaction and started saying no entiendo espanol even though we never started speaking to him in Spanish judging us by our looks won’t be returning.
