This place is awesome! They recovered all of my data from my dead computer and transferred it to a new laptop which came with 2 years of virus protection. I highly recommend.

Great followup up and customer service...they were unable to fix the laptop (they did attempt to reinstall M$ Windows but the SSHD was kaput) but since they did not fix the computer they did not charge me the base $50.00 labor fee which I thought was pretty incredible!!! I will be using this company the next time I have a problem - they are awesome!

When I entered Brambleton Computer for the first time two days ago, I felt like the little old grandma with the laptop and hammer in her hand ad. AMAZING SERVICE!!!!! Im a professional photographer who relies on a 27 iMac as my central workstation. I came back from a trip to find it with a dead operating system drive and work from my trip was pressing me. I was actually dreading having to send this off to be repaired but fortunately I had just seen a commercial for Brambleton Computer with some testimonials from people I knew and trusted, and it mentioned they worked on macs, so I called them. Without question I got exceptional service from this phone call onward. Mac clients dont always experience that because of lower market share, but I actually had my computer back with a professionally installed new drive AND a memory upgrade within 24 hours. They had all the the parts in stock.... no wait for parts, and I didnt even have to plead with them to expedite due to my work. They were ON IT with their regular customer service. And the repair cost was SUPER REASONABLE without the hassle of taking it to an Apple store or ship it off. Needless to say, I am impressed. The whole operation is top notch, and you can see that the minute you walk through the door. Pleasant professional greeting, immediately. If I could get my bicycle fixed this quickly, life would be perfect. Thank you for such honest, knowledgable, and expeditious professional help. Truly grateful.

Brambleton Computer specializes in computer repairs, but also sells various models and accessories. It is definitely a five-star business whose employees are not only knowledgeable but strive to be sensitive and understand customers computer problems. The street signage for the shop is large, easy-to-see orange, and well lighted. There is plenty of clean, well-marked off-street parking. An added plus are the several conveniently placed handicap parking slots as well as handicap access at the rear of the shop. Employees are also willing, with advance notice, to come out to the parking lot, talk with customers, and carry computers into the shop. The shop provides clean, accessible rest rooms, as well as a coffee, snack area. Computer-savvy customers will do well at this shop but employees really shine helping novices like first-time computer owners and senior citizens. Employees are following Virginia COVID-19 restrictions about masks and social distancing.

After seeing many commercials about this place and doing a little research myself, we had no other choice to take our time and an hour away to pay them a visit. Upon entering the parking lot, it was clean and beautifully landscaped outside. As soon as we entered I knew we had made the right decision about coming!!! Brian shortly came to use with the bad news our system was in bad shape and he offered some suggestions and talked about the systems they offer, all the perks. Benefits and we discussed price. Had a problem with my Hard Drive. Evan looked at it and gave me a good price on a new one. However I had an app om my computer that is no longer available anywhere. The app had 5 years of complete golf scores with tons of stats.Evan told me that he didnt thing he could save it to the new Hard Drive but that he would try.A day and a half latter he called and told me my computer was ready and the app was saved and installed!Great job Evan and to everyone at Brambleton Computer!!!!!!

Inexpensive ($50 for a complete check up/virus removal) and capable of fixing most any problem.

I brought my MacBook Pro to Brambleton for a water damage diagnostic. I was told by multiple staff that the water damage my computer had was irreparable and it was suggested that I purchase a new computer outright. I was told verbatim, “Every signal that water damage has occurred is present. This computer could fail at any point. Would you like to recycle this one and buy a new one?”. Brambleton computer staff told me my MacBook showed signs of extreme liquid damage and that two major components of the computer needed to be replaced, in the amount of $1100 for parts and labor. This seemed outrageous given that the repair quote was more expensive than the computer when purchased new. I took the laptop to a local repair shop and it was fixed for 50 DOLLARS. This repair company told me there were NO signs of water damage on the inside of the laptop and that it had 95% functionality, and there was no reason to believe it would die due to the liquid incident. The computer is completely functional.I am highly, highly dissatisfied with my experience at Brambleton computer. I refuse to believe that a difference of $1,050 in repair cost is the result of an accidental and incorrect diagnosis. Frankly I believe this represents an incident of a literal attempted theft. Stealing a laptop for profit by telling customers that their devices are unsalvageable and suggest they give them up for free to Brambleton.Also, the employee interactions I had were very poor. There was no explanation of what specifically was wrong with my laptop. The staff member who told me to purchase a new computer simply said, “it’s really bad,” and didn’t offer anything beyond this.These are salespeople before they are repair people. I feel deceived and I think with sadness about all of the people who have likely been swindled out of money from this company before now.Ridiculous, truly. I will not be returning and will suggest others do the same.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Computer wouldnt turn on at all. Took it to these guys, they took 10 minutes, revealed my power supply was dead, and Josh helped me find a new one that I got at Best Buy. Very professional and friendly!

Dont go anywhere else. These guys are the real deal. They will fix, then walk you through putting it back together. Wonderful folks, and they go way beyond what is necessary. I will never take my computer anywhere else.

We’ve used both the Brambleton and Vinton locations and been very satisfied. Work was done quickly and for a reasonable price. I recommend them often.

I finally gave in an upgraded my computer to Windows 10. I had it there Wednesday about 1300. They called just before 1700 and said it was ready. I picked it up Thursday morning, came home and fired it up. So Ive read my share of horror stories about changing to Windows 10 but I didnt have to do anything except pick up where I had left off the day before. It really is a great staff of people who clearly are good at what they do and take pride in their work. Now its two old laptops that need an upgrade so I know where I will take those, as well.

I am new to Roanoke and I was experiencing a number of issues with my laptop, so I called around to a few companies and decided to try Brambleton Computer. Keith and his staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They diagnosed the issues I was having with my computer the day I brought it in to them and finished the repairs and service the very next day. I received great customer service, quality repair service, and it was affordable. They lived up to their slogan of, No one else can do it for our quality and price. If I have any more issues or need a new computer, it is good to know there is someone in town I can trust.

These people are crooks...dont do business with them...avoid these place. They hire janitors to repair computers and hire people with computer degrees and experience to work as janitors. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I took in a Mac book air due to water damage. Robert and his staff were able to get it back up and running. Repairs were made in less than 24 hours. Very impressed with the service I received. Robert took the time to answer my many questions concerning the repair and other things I had on my mind concerning mesh networks and other computing ideas.
