Beautiful little shop with so much to offer. My husband and I stopped in and the owner was very polite. He offered assistance and knowledge on specific items without hovering or pressuring us to buy. During our trip, we found a piece of history (Newpaper article of JFK’s Assassination 1963) priced fairly. We will certainly visit again.
Wonderful antique shop filled with lovely and interesting things! We had to call the owner upon arrival to open the door for us. If you come across the same sign on the door, Id suggest doing the same and not leaving. The shop owner was very helpful with our questions and a lovely man to talk with. I ended up purchasing a lamp and he made sure I saw a chip in the shade before selling it to me. I appreciated his integrity. A true gem of a shop to find.
Store was locked and unstaffed during advertised opening hours in the middle of the day.
Very helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I will return to sell and buy
Lovely store. We liked our first visit so much, we came back the next weekend to bring our friends! Definitely worth dropping in. The space is organized by time period which makes it really easy to navigate the store and find things that suit your interests. Plus, the owner is really friendly.
Really nice antiques store! The owner was very kind and helpful. The store is organized very well by category - native art, African art, European art, shaker furniture, etc. Prices were reasonable for the quality of antiques offered. We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
Owner was not wearing mask, owner also creepily hovered around us and was asking many questions. Beautiful items and good prices though.
By FAR one the best antique stores in Rochester. Many shops in the area sell remanufactured antiques made to look old or that vintage farmhouse style decor, but not here. The owners has been buying and selling for 40+ years. Everything here is 100% antique and unique. Right now its being redesigned and if I were you Id definitely check it out.
Nice place. I took some Amish there but only looked around myself. The place was clean, organized and the staff friendly and knowledgable.
The man that works there is very nice if you know little about antiques, he has a large collection spanning different time periods!
Stopped in today open sign was out only made it to the first booth and no prices on items I asked what totals were owner states we are remodeling and I have not looked the items up probably $15-$20. I ask well how much is it because your open and he said I only have time for patient customers seein how I was Facebook live with my partner the whole time and never once was rude. I own and operate my own location of antiques 13k square and purchased over $50,000 in stoneware alone in last 2 yrs I might be young to the field but we are serious buyers. Felt pushed away because of our age and shouldnt be. Will not return as a customer.
The owner was very helpful and honest. He wasnt interested in everything I had but gave me great advice on selling it.
Great displays and the owner was very helpful. Loved our experience!
Is this brick and mortar store ever open? Wonderful array of unique treasures can be seen through the huge front window, but untouchable when the door is locked!
Visited during store hours and the door was locked with a sign saying to call the owner to get in. Called 3 times with no answer. Called a 4th time on a different phone and he said he was out getting supplies. Frustrating but will update my review if I get a chance to go inside.*Update:Got in with no problems and was greeted by the owner. Friendly and willing to answer questions. The whole store was in not the greatest shape because of ongoing renovations, but we were still able to walk around and see everything we wanted to see. Lots of interesting things!
Other reviews are correct, door is locked and they do not answer the phone to call or the business phone. Seriously?
Was closed when I visited early in the day during businesses hours. Returned and it was open. Was met with an unfriendly greeting. It is very messy and unorganized. I finally found an interesting item but was told I could not purchase the item I found because the seller was not there.
Seems like they have nice antiques but many times I have stopped by when they are supposedly open the door is locked.
Walked in when the website said they were open and got told by the owner that they did not open until 2:00pm, walked back at 2:10 PM and the door was locked despite an open sign being out so I tried calling and waiting outside with no one answering the phones or unlocking the store
Came in for the first time after wanting to check it out for a while. As soon as we walked in the door we were alerted to the fact that they were remodeling (obviously) but they were open so we started looking around and was suspiciously tailed the whole time. Nothing was priced, no inventory. Should just shut it down. We will not be returning.
They were closed, even through their sign said open
Owner was a dick
Parking in as terrible
