When I came to this Dealership they were attentive and straight forward Thank You for Great Service at Hi Line Motor Cars.I have had my Vehicle for 6 yrs and the SUV has had some wear and tear which is normal other than that My Lexus SUV is well maintained I definitely recommend for a upscale Vehicle this is the place.

Overall bad experience. This place lacks customer service, transparency and making their customers feel valued. I learned my lesson and will never recommend or go back to this dealership to purchase a vehicle.

I hope this review will serve as a warning to anyone considering buying a car from this dealership. I purchased an Acura MDX from them in 2017. I thought I was getting a good deal as the price and mileage were low. The condition of the car seemed ok and the staff were helpful in getting me financed. While I was driving home (2+ hours away from the dealership) the Check Engine light came on. When I called the dealership I was told to check the gas tank and a few other tips or tricks to clear it. The issue never resolved and thus began the start of my non-stop repairs. I was told I would get two keys for the car. I was only ever given one and the dealer said he would mail me the other. He never followed up or found the other key. Since purchasing the car I battled non-stop mechanical and body work repairs. I constantly had issues with the Check Engine light and had to go down the rabbit hole of replacing THREE different catalytic converters, O2 sensors, exhaust pipes, and other structural parts. In the 4 years that Ive owned the car Ive regularly had to sink $700-$1000 per year into the car to get it to pass NY inspection. My advice to anyone buying a car here at this dealership is to take the car to an independent mechanic and make sure problems arent being covered up. On top of the emissions issues, two rust spots appeared a few months into winter and Ive been working on those every single year since then. They were obviously covered up and never properly fixed. The deals/prices might look good at this dealership but its likely because they find cheap/neglected cars and hide the problems. Do your homework before buying anything here!!

I went with my daughter to purchase a 2018 VW Tiguan. When we test drove it the AC was not working at all. They had it charge, but did not test it for a leak. found this out after driving back to pick it up, Closed systems will not loose Freon. Now a week later on a hot day there is a terrible smell when on. This car has a 90 day warranty, but I will never deal with them again. Jimmy the sales man told us he would get us a 2nd key. Now he is telling use to go to our local deal & buy one for approx $200 & they can program it for another $100. We made it clear when he handed us the key that my daughter needs a 2nd key. They are leaving us High & Dry. Hoping the AC works when hot out. Have the cab filter changed to see if the order goes away. Terrible experience with this dealer. Once the sale is done they dont know or care about you. Have purchase over 25 cars in my life time & never been treated this waySincerely Mike

My husband wrecked the car and we needed another one. Looked around for a bit and found this place. I work in Rochester a lot so thought we’d check it out. Financing was so easy and fast. Within days, we had the BMW X3 we liked! Drove it over 200 miles home no problem. Saw ones beat down at local dealerships that cost more with higher miles and problems galore. Came with new tires that saved us big $$ and no lights on the dash. It was low miles like new. We just had to bring ourselves and take the keys (which they even had two!). Car is still going good even after a 2000 mile trip! Just got a check up at Tyler BMW in TX and needs nothing!

My family and I have purchased approximately 13 vehicles from Gary Jr and Bob. This is the very best dealership in town and probably the country. 13 cars and all have been excellent vehicles. Dont get a car here. They get their cars from auction and dont know whats wrong with them. Ive seen parts fall off right in front of me. They then claim they were just fixing that. Theyll do anything to get you to walk out with a car, but wont take care of you afterwards. The car I bought from them had a ton of problems appear a few days after, thank God I got the warranty, but even that was like pulling teeth.Check engine light came on the next day I bought the car. Had to replace catalytic converter, shocks, starter within the first month. It cost a lot of money to get the car to not have any lights on the dash. DONT SHOP HERE.

Awesome place for used cars. They really take care of you here. Only complaint is that their office is lake a labyrinth.. but then again Ive been going here since I was a small one so ...that could just be childhood opinion on the subject.

BUYER BEWARE!!!I recently bought a vehicle form Highline Motor Car, Inc and the experience has been a nightmare. I urge you to take any vehicle that you may purchase from Highline to a trusted mechanic to be fully inspected prior to purchase. The vehicle I bought was in mechanical shambles and required over $12,000 in repairs to be drivable, despite their claim the vehicle is perfect. Even the repair shop that Highline Motor Car, Inc recommended had nothing positive to say about them.I recommend getting everything in writing as they do not honor verbal agreements. With all of the car dealers in Rochester, I suggest going to a reputable and honest establishment. It is my opinion that Highline Motor Car, Inc is NOT honest or reputable. Best of luck with your car buying experience, and as always BUYER BEWARE!

Purchased a vehicle here a few months ago that looked to be in good condition, the only issue was that it was missing a cup holder in the center console. They agreed to replace it but every time we brought the vehicle back in, the mechanic was conveniently out. Weeks later, they eventually came around to doing it. After a month or so, the car began to over heat and had the check engine light on. We tried to bring the car back to them to get looked at, and guess what, their mechanic wasnt in. We them brought the vehicle to a reputable shop and they hit us with a $2,500 list of repairs needed! Shouldve read the reviews before we shopped here. Thanks Highline Motor Cars for being shady and only caring about your sales; youre the greatest! 😀

The vehicle that I bought was a gorgeous Audi A4 in very good condition given its year. The problems that I had are with how the employees at Highline Motor Car treated the repairs. When I bought the car I asked for the following to be replaced; the middle console which was broken, the back seat plastic which was falling off, and a simple check engine light. When I picked up my car the next day, to my displeasure, I found that the middle console had been epoxied, the rear seat plastic had been epoxied, and the check engine light had been wiped so it would pass inspection. The minute I drove off the lot it came back on, and only to find out that after bring it to an Audi Dealership that it was a completely different issue than what they told me it was. The cars are nice, the people are friendly, however I do not trust their service and I will not be returning back to their shop for any repairs.

These guys are the best. I have bought four cars here over the past 4-5 years. They do a great job at getting you the right car at the right price. I have sent 2 friends here and they have had the same experience. I will be back the next time I need a car.

WOULD NEVER BUY THERECar was completely corroded under. I had problems from day one. They promised to fix the problems but never did. Took the car to a mechanic on my 3rd day having it and he said that I drove the car with only front brakes I asked the owner to help me pay the damages he said he would but they never did All lies. Never returned my calls. Plzzz dont buy there

Called looking for a convertible went down and they had sent a few to auction. Rob said he could bring any one of them back if I wanted. He then showed me a 2005 SL 500 101,000 miles on it take it for a ride he says. Sure ok damn right I did. Car was in mint shape. Ran perfect and waited a week and did research on car. He contacted previous owner for me to get some answers about car I had. When you buy a high end car with miles on it dont be scared . Rob then let me bring it too a foreign auto shop to get it checked out.We agreed on price. His exact words whatever has to be done we will take care of it drive it for a couple weeks. Tech checked it out all was good.A little hesitation occurred at higher speeds a week later never mind how fast lol he sent it in replaced a couple coils and plugs and was true to his word. Great experience.If your ever driving up on the Ontario Expressway early Sat or Sun 5 to 6 am move over.!!!!!!!!

Do not buy here! I purchased a vehicle last August that appeared to be in good shape but the battery was dead when I looked at it. I should have walked away right then! I looked at another vehicle on their lot, it looked like it had a rough life but had low mileage and cleaned up pretty good. I started it up and revved it a little, I got out and checked under the hood and could distinctly smell burnt antifreeze. I told the salesman who kind of shrugged and said the shop would have to check it out. I came back to the other car that they jump started, everything worked ok but the service 4x4 light was on with the check engine light and the air filter was clogged full of dirt & debris. They said they would get it all fixed, no worries. I liked it, we agreed on a price, I agreed to buy it after everything was fixed. Two days later I came down to pick it up, they did a great detail job and the lights were out but the air filter was still crammed full of junk. I pointed it out and had to shame them a bit but they did go to the parts store and get a new one. While I was signing the paperwork I noticed there was only 1 electronic key (with no manual key) so I asked about the other one and they said there wasnt one. I told them that what they gave me only works as long as the battery in the fob (and battery in the car) work, if either battery goes dead I cant start the car or even get in to the car. Eventually they agreed but said they couldnt go get a key made until the car was registered to someone, the dealership wouldnt cut a key for them (total BS). We went around a few times but eventually we agreed I would go get the key and they would reimburse me. I did, I gave them my copy of the $300 receipt in person & by email a few times over several months, every time I was told Bob would send me payment and they forgot about it. This last time I was told that this was ...an odd request and nothing was in writing. If it was part of the sale we would put it in writing, you cant re-negotiate the sale after its final. Mind you, I paid a premium price for this vehicle because it was being sold as an A+ condition vehicle...what I got was a C+ condition vehicle that was made to look pretty. After the first month (how convenient) the 4 wheel drive and check engine lights came back on along with several other intermittent electrical problems. So now Im stuck with a pretty looking paperweight that I cant really resell unless I put lots of money into or take a huge loss! The only restitution that I even asked for was to live up to their end of the deal by giving me my $300 back for the key, but since it wasnt in writing they want to weasel out. What Ive learned from all this; the vehicles on their lot are high end cars that reputable dealers didnt want on theirs. These cars are mechanically and/or cosmetically flawed, they picked them up at a huge bargain, made them look pretty, put a bandaid on the problem without fixing it, then ask above retail price for a car in A+ condition when it isnt what they have in front of you. Short story, just stay away!
