Lou and Bob are some of the best mechanics Ive had experiences with. They lay down the details, and are very helpful. Mr and my family have used them for about 3 years or more now for 2 maybe 3 (soon) vehicles. They always manage to do a great job, and have never let us down.

No employees, including the gentleman at the desk with whom customers must interact, wear masks. I have used this shop for years and found it convenient and reasonable, no frills service. But I will never return. I’m appalled at their disregard for public health and lack of legal compliance, especially as we are now in the yellow zone.

My long time trusted friend and mechanic had to close shop. I was devistated. But, while driving past Elmgrove Auto I noticed they had a large service bay, so stopped in and spoke to the owner (Bob) about whether he could service my 30 vehicle. He was very positive and said he would help me. I am not a novice on vehicle repair (but obviously not a professional like Bob), but Bob and his talented technicians found problems. He fixed them today, ahead if schedule, and under estimate. He showed me the deterioration on my original tires, and seeing them off the vehicle after replacement, I think he saved my life. These people are fair on their prices and competent. I HIGHLY recommend Elmgrove Auto.

Called and got a quote from someone for an oil change on a Silverado that needs dexos blend. The man quoted me around 60 dollars on the phone. I drop my truck off and they said they would call when it’s done. I waited 45 minutes and went back and my truck was already done and never got a phone call. He showed me the bill for 107 dollars. Almost double what I was quoted. Bad business save your money and go somewhere else.

The owner treats me right and Ive never had to return for any work done. Im getting ready to get a new car so they will find lowest cost parts to keep me going instead of gouging me on top of the line stuff. Take the time to talk to the guys and create a rapport!

A total rip off!! STAY AWAY!! They have 100% mark up on parts!! On top of the dealer parts that already have a 30% mark up on parts (which is normal). They go way above that. Saw an elderly lady coming with a simple inspection and tried to charge $700 + for a radiator leak. Which was only the bolt that needed to be tightened on a two month old brand new dealership radiator. This is unacceptable on every level!!!! Go somewhere else!!! Disgraceful!!!

So I tried to fix my own brakes and messed it up good enough to bring it somewhere. Lou and Bob at Elmgrove auto were fantastic. Down to earth guys but super professional. Even though I messed it up (and they knew it) they never made me feel bad about it, took care of the issue in a short amount of time at a reasonable price. Even gave me some pointers. This was my last attempt to do it on my own...from now on, this is “my place”.

Bob takes car of my cars and is awesome. I never have to worry. He does all my auto repair and tune-ups. I live in West Henrietta, but dont mind driving to Gates where he is located as its definitely worth the trip!

This is a great auto body shop. The staff is so helpful, both with the work to be done and helping us stay within budget. They are pleasant to be around and make a genuine light hearted conversation when you have to wait for work to be done. The front office is clean and not too small, there is a TV and coffee while you wait. Our oil change cost half of what weve paid elsewhere and I waited less than an hour. While I was there they gave a ride to a customer dropping off, and were super polite to everyone I heard them interact with. They made me feel like a valued & respected customer which doesnt always happen for women when cars are involved. My husband has had major work done here and they never disappoint. This is the only shop we will use for our vehicles.

After 3 years of having my cars inspected here and not needing any work done I can tell you that this shop provides honest service. Since then I have had work done on my vehicles and the repairs were clearly explained and the prices were never a shock. I would not even think about bringing my vehicles anywhere else.

I had such a great experience using Elmgrove Auto for the first time.. I stopped in when my truck was making a clunking sound that was getting noticeably worse while I was driving. Bob took a short ride with me, diagnosed the problem (wheel bearing), and had it fixed a few hours later.
