Cool atmosphere. Got here before it filled in and glad I did. It filled up fast. Food was out quickly and it was amazing. Chief knows his sauces! Good choices of craft beer as well worth the trip.

Easy to spend a lot of time just looking around. Lots of good things to select. Check out as a bit antiquated because they dont use Apple pay or Google pay or anything like that.

The store is always clean and organized. Im always able to find what Im looking for pretty easily. Their prices usually beat their competition. They have helpful, knowledgeable staff to help you find your items and give you some good tips for getting your project done. They dont always carry things in stock but you can order them online and pick them up or have it shipped to home. The deliver large orders for a fee and have tool rentals. They even have a rental truck for $20. I love this store and have spent thousands there.

The guy that works in the lumber yard that looks like big jesus deserves a raise. hes always so sweet and courteous and he helped me get the wood I needed to get the job done. seriously lovely, would absolutely come again just for him!

Menards south in Rochester Minnesota has always been a great store to go to. They usually have good deals on tools and most everything there. Theyre very helpful at helping customers find things. Keep an eye out for their 11% off everything sales and youll save a nice chunk of change. I always enjoy roaming the store and finding new things.

Have you ever been to a Menards? What a fun experience! You can find nearly everything there! If you go in to browse, you will certainly come out with something that you didnt even know you needed but it is just the perfect thing!

Love Menards but the guy at the paint counter mixed both of our tints into one can. Needs less to say can was really dark and to other was white. What made it really bad was the guy only opened the dark one up and put the sample dab on both cans! Menards made it good but lost a couple hours of painting today.

The employees in the plumbing dept at menards south are incredible! Helped me improvise a working overflow for my rainbarrels!

The lumbar yard needs some serious upgrading here. No help whenever I go here. Building a new house and needing supplies with no help loading up trucks of supplies is a huge no for me wanting to give them my business. Check the cameras, the guy out there WATCHED as we loaded our truck with supplies. Poor customer service!! I’ll take my business to somewhere they’re more willing to help, OR to the Menards north where they’ve been better with helping.

Great at his job and friendly.I had asked for things in other departments and the seasoned employees don’t know how to talk to people. I understand sometimes you are going through personal things. Just be nice though and helpful especially if it’s your job. Anyways, 5 stars for Kenyon!

Another great experience at Menards. I bought a fixer upper house so I have been there several times. They had everything I need and some things I dont. I would have have it a 5 star rating, but out of my 3 trips to load my truck up today, not one employee offered to help as I loaded 44 have of sand and 64 40lb blocks.

I had a very difficult time there this morning. Asking questions andbasking for help was met with obvious annoyance from the staff. I gave up trying. Im heading to lowes. Hoping for a small level of help there.

Friendly, helpful staff make shopping here a pleasant experience. The wide variety of products and the many styles/options of each type of product make having to shop around a non-issue. The store, as always, was well stocked and clean. The only issue I have when shopping here is I can not seem to get out of the store with just the items I had originally intended to buy.

Purchased 8 bags softener salt at register. Asked the cashier if there were any flatbed carts to load onto. Cashier says good luck finding one of those! and moved on to helping next customer in line. Walked over near exit door. Employee was walking in with 2 flatbed carts. Asked if i could have one for salt. His response was i have customers waiting for these there are more outside.Given the record profits in your stores right now, maybe spend some $ on customer service training. Time to start looking at moving my commercial account to another vendor

Good place to shop for your home improvement needs

Please round up all of the fence pickets in Minnesota and deliver them to all of the other states because obviously nobody up there knows how to do any work and they are not using them so stop taking all of your fence pickets to a place where people don’t even use them. Thanks

I understand that we’re all going though a stressful time right now with all that’s going on with the virus. And sometimes employees have a rough day. But not responding to “hello” “how are you doing today” and even “thank you for working” is pretty rude and a huge turn away as far as customer service goes. To Julie the cashier who rang me up, I hope your day takes a better turn. Unfortunately I won’t be shopping here any longer if this is what Menards considers a welcoming atmosphere and proper customer service

Menards its rateing truly depends on the department because if you go into the area with all their lumber youll be lucky to finde enough bords that arent bowed and are even decently straight. But if you go to a separate part of the store its a hole other story sometimes.

Im always happy to go to Menards in Rochester,MN. There is always someone that can help me find what I want. I buy sunflower seeds to feed the birds in our yard. I recently had back surgery so I am not able to lift heavy things like the bird seed. I buy flee and tick for our small dog for summer. They will either help me take the cart to my car and load it up for me or if it is raining or windy l drive up to the doors and they load it up for me so I dont have to get out of my car. I would recommend to anyone to go to Menards and see for yourself. Nancy

Yard always in complete disarray, very messy. Nobody wants to help at this location. Customer service machine always broken. This south location is horrible compared to the north location. Huge home improvement store. Filled with pretty much anything you can want. You can build a house in one stop. Lumber, roofing, lighting, plumbing, heating, decor, all the tools youd need for the job, and the groceries to keep you fueled while doing it. Theres even a section with books and magazines for a little relaxation. Plenty of outdoors items too. Landscaping, gardening, power equipment, and patio furniture too.

I paid $160 for a Moen faucet here when I got it home the base of it had a huge gouge in it,Im back to the store be open to more boxes and they had gouges in them too before the third one was good. I guess thats what I get for shopping at Menards no quality control.

If I was not forced to wear a mask with 8 people in the whole store it would have been much more enjoyable
