I replaced 50 plus year old formica countertops in kitchen, bath and laundry with Gorgeous granite from Tile Superstore & More. The office staff ( Haley!) spent a great deal of time showing me the many choices of Granite available, all on site. she was very helpful and friendly, and walked me through every step of the process.Staff who came to do the in home measurements was so kind, and detail oriented.the staff who installed the countertops were professional, knowlegable about the process,,took great care with the installationI love the finished product, and would definitely recommend Tile Superstore & More. They also do all types of flooring, luxury vinyl, mosaics, wall finishes,
Tile Superstore is definitely a reputable 5 STAR business! They have an excellent selection of products that would be conducive to all customers.Professional and experienced staff will assist you through any and all of your projects. Id definitely would recommend the Tile Superstore!
As an owner of a small construction company, I could not be more happy with the service and professionalism that the tile super store exhibits. There pricing and quotes are spot on as well as there communication and scheduling. The staff is always eager to help and easy to send my homeowners in to talk to. I highly recommend this company.
Very disappointed with this company. Initially, our ordering process was smooth and everything went well. But upon installation, multiple cabinet faces were ordered in the incorrect size. Now 6 months later, they were again ordered incorrectly. We are still waiting for multiple cabinet doors and drawers.I am also very disappointed in the quality of the cabinets. We have been living with these for 5 months and the paint is already rubbing off in multiples places (no kids, no pets). We have noticed scratches and dents that occurred during installation. Very frustrated that we now have these poor quality cabinets in our newly built home.
The team was easy to work with. I had a chance to look at the superstore and pick out and take home some samples so I could see them in my home which was a huge help. I found one that I liked but unfortunately, there was not enough product available to do my project. I was disappointed but what was absolutely a blessing was that Travis, the project manager, had me send some pictures of my cabinets and talked through what I liked, he made a recommendation that was PERFECT for my home. It was a beautiful product - something I would never have chosen but he has so much experience he was able to pick out the colors/finish that worked best with my home. In addition, I worked with Jason and his team, the installers. They were professional, timely and worked really hard to complete the job in a very timely manner. I worked directly with Travis via text when I had questions or needed follow up. Super easy. This was a big project and could have disrupted my life/home for a long period of time, but the whole project was completed in less than two weeks! I would highly recommend the Tile Superstore for all your flooring needs. Thank you. Lisa
My wife and are are building a new house and chose this company for our granite countertops. Everything started out great but went down hill. Communication got worse as things went along. We agreed on a price but said that we had wanted oval sinks in the bathrooms instead of the rectangle sinks they had listed on the contract. Our salesman Chad said to sign the contract and send it back. He would make the change no problem. Templating went well and Ken was very detail orientated. They still had rectangle sinks listed and I told him they were to be ovals instead.A couple days after the templating I get a message from Chad that the tops should be ready for install on the 11th. He would confirm that next day if that was correct. I never heard from Chad that next day. 2 Days later I email and ask if the 11th was still going to work. No reply until 2 days after my email but that the 11th wasnt going to work. I call and talk to the owner and he says no way the 11th is going to happen. So now I had to reschedule my plumber. They show to install the tops on the 15th but as soon as the first bathroom top comes off the truck I see they have cutouts for rectangle sinks. I talk to the installer and he calls the shop to see what happened. We needed to get the tops in for closing and he said that the tops should get installed and they would swap them at a later date. I asked again if they would actually do that or not and he said they would. I let them install the tops with the rectangle sinks as long as they would redo the tops with ovals if my wife wasnt happy with them. The installer was great and did a very nice job.My wife wasnt happy with the rectangle sinks but didnt dislike them as much as she thought. She still preferred the oval sinks. I came up with the idea to see if they would work out a deal to compensate for the wrong sinks instead of redoing the tops. After contacting them several times the owner said that we were stuck with the rectangle sinks and he wasnt going to discount. He essentially called me a liar because I had verbally said oval sinks and it wasnt on the contract.Make sure you have all the is dotted and ts crossed.Since I cant reply to the owner on here:I verbally told my salesperson I wanted oval sinks along with the person doing the templating. No one wrote anything down. The communication and follow through is awful. No one wants to admit they made a mistake and now we have the wrong sinks. I am changing my 2 star review to 1 star.
I dont write reviews but I felt that I should share our experience so that people can make an educated choice. We just finished a kitchen remodel, we purchased 3 slabs of Granite for our project we dealt with Candace as our salesperson and she is very knowledgeable about the products in the store, Ken came to the house to do the template and is a very nice person (thats the only reason Im giving a 2 star rating), other than these 2 people everything went downhill fast.My cabinet maker had to come over and help level the counter top because they couldnt figure it out on my island, I wont bore you with the details, but it took 3 visits from installers to get my counters acceptable, we had to tear out the tile backsplash because there was a 1/2 gap between the granite and the top of the cabinets, which was discovered by my cabinet maker while he was hanging doors, this put our project another 3 days behind, it got to the point that I had my General Contractor deal with them before I completely lost my cool.I have more projects to do but will be shopping elsewhere. Were very disappointed with our experience.
Called on tuesday and left voicemail for Melissa. No call back and waited 3 days. Called again and sent to Wayne. Wayne told me he didnt have time for my small order, because hes too busy as it is. I need to purchase matching Aristokraft cabinets. I have the money in my hands, and im looking to buy, but Tile Superstore is apparently unwilling to take my money. What a wild time to be alive. Do not recommend this place if you want to actually purchase something.
In January of 2017 I some quartz countertops installed in a home I was remodeling in sw Rochester. They helped with design and install and the project turned out great. The carpet guys did the carpet in the bedrooms as well. Everything went great. This was the third house of mine they did and all three have been great experiences.
I love my remodeled kitchen! Travis and his team were very professional and knowledgeable in guiding me through the process of selecting countertop and backsplash materials and colors to achieve a well coordinated look. Candice’s design expertise was especially helpful. Ben and the team that did the work removing the old and installing the new were always on time and thorough. I appreciate that at the end of each phase they would ask “do you have any questions for me?” All of my questions were addressed promptly and completely. Thank you!
They are so helpful
Do not recommend. Its so much more worth going to a different tile store and paying the extra money. We tried to save money by going to this place and they were awful to work with. Our tile we got from them resulted in color variation to which our tile guy (who has been doing this for over 20 years) said this is the worst tile coloring I have ever seen in my life.
This is the second time we have purchased granite from Tile Superstore and both transactions went smoothly and as promised. The staff is very helpful with the selection process and the team that measures and installs were very professional and friendly. Great customer service!
STAY AWAY from this store!!!! The store is big but garbage I have bad experiences with the tile superstore was the employees are ignorant and no responsible. I tried to meet email, and call with manager many times, he never responded back. They didn’t want to solve their own mistakes. Be careful with the estimate and time frame because they was professional of lie to customers. They ordered wrong products and forced customer to pay that, And be aware that the customer will pay for store mistakes. the products are low qualities. The carpet are Thinner then sample that can’t cover the nails, hardwood is not like the sample. The nails under carpet made my a little kids bleeding and injuries. I called to fix it took about two months. Totally, I wasted money and times with tile Superstore, and decided to share my bad experiences to other customers . Thanks
Great experience for our carpet installation. I would recommend Tile Superstore to others!
Fantastic experience again. We have worked with them 3 times now and all were great experiences.
Great prices and customer service and availability. Would definitely recommend!
Wayne was great to work with!
Couldn’t get together price for two weeks. Terrible experience, everybody should get job refresher lessons! Rochester has reputable places get work done this isn’t one Stay away from them for god’s sake don’t let them do your granite I live everyday with a sink faucet cut wrong (under counter sink) they didn’t follow template that came with the faucet. They say they don’t follow factory recommendations. Don’t let bob Schneider at your house It all started with his I know it all
Tile Superstore installed LL bathroom floor tile in March 2016.* Sales person was cordial/ knowledgeable. But:* Had to deal with 4 different people prior to install.* 3 tile were cut/installed wrong. Had to call him back. Half assed fix.* He threw tile dust and scraps on the back lawn. We had to clean it up.* Store didnt issue credit for returned samples.* For quality installation we suggest you try someone else!!
We had the Tile Superstore come out to give us a quote for tiling our small basement bathroom after a waterline break. We were told by the contractor that they would level our floor. They gave us a quote but nothing was itemized. I guess we should have know from that something was up. They came and tile the bathroom and never leveled the floor so now we have 1+ inch gap between the floor and the base board. We contacted them and they basely told it was our fault and the we should I guess lay the baseboard unlevel to match the floor. They gave us some lame reasons why they didnt do it and they said it wasnt in the quote. The main reason we hired them was to have the floor leveled for the tiles. We could have tiled this ourselves if we wanted to keep the floor uneven and we would have saved ourselves a ton of money. I will never do business with them again. They are very dishonest and they dont take responsibility for their mistakes.
We love our new floors! The staff at the Tile Superstore & More were very helpful and professional. We are so thankful for their recommendations - not only are our new PVC floors practical, but we get compliments on them every time someone comes over! We look forward to working with the Tile Superstore & More on future remodel projects.
Consistently superb quality and service.Have used their service several times over the years and always top notch.Products and selection are both excellent and service is even better.
We contracted with the Tile Superstore earlier this year for a new floor for our kitchen, dining area and living room. We had a mix of carpet and laminated wood that was nearing 20 years and decided to go with real wood. We met with Todd in the sales dept. and he was very helpful in explaining the different types, their plusses and minuses, etc. and eventually selected an engineered wood style that has a very rustic look. Todd was very patient with us during the time it took to make a decision and visited our home afterwards to make sure this product would be a good mix with the house. He and the installment manager met with us after the measurements were made and within a day we had the cost estimate. We did some negotiating to cut the cost and also decided to remove the old flooring ourselves to save money and within a short while, the installers were there and in two days the job was finished. There were a few minor issues that Todd dealt with immediately and in the end, we had ourselves a new, gorgeous floor! I highly recommend this business for any flooring needs. They are very professional, friendly courteous and easy to work with. And they stand by their products and service.
The staff were very helpful. Deb is the best! She is very helpful to those of us that are not professionals. Thanks Deb and the Tile Superstore
A lot of tile and carpet to see, sales person was very nice and helpful. didnt end up buying right now but i will be back!
Was rather displeased with the customer service. We ordered tile for a back-splash, asked me how much square feet I needed to cover. I stated that I had rough estimate but would want to re-measure to be closer on order. They responded saying, lets get an order in and order extra, then we can return a full box if left over and we would be responsible for shipping cost.Well after all said and done, I have 2 boxes left over, $100 plus each. They will not refund them. Not to mention, was told the order would be in within 2 weeks at the latest. The order took a month and my contractor had moved to other projects and tile wasnt completed until 3 months later.
Absolutely terrible, any average Joe in their 20s cant get any help from the staff. They ignore you like the plague with no customers in sight. I do not recommend going here....Im just walking out after 30 min of waiting and looking around
Purchased subway tile that was in stock 7 days ago and cannot return or exchange the full boxes. Do not purchase from this store unless you are absolutely sure you want the product.
There is a reason their last good review was from 3 years ago!! Horrible to work with, never return calls, and they made so many mistakes. They cut our granite counter top when we had given them no measurements at all, we found after we had templated a week later that the piece of granite we liked would still work (depth would be slightly shorter but we said we were ok with that). We go to pick up our granite a week later and it wasnt our piece they switched it out with another, they didnt even call us to see if we wanted a different piece or to let us know they were changing it! They said they looked everywhere and couldnt find the piece that we wanted. We left it there, and we got a hold of the manager on Monday, they offered to give us some money off (not nearly enough for all of our trouble), then an hour later someone called to set up our instilation. I get another call 5 hours later saying they are not going to install since they gave us money off! I was sick of dealing with them so we picked up the counter top on Tuesday morning, and guess what we found!? The piece of granite that we wanted (now cut to short) all ready to be installed in their EMPLOYEES bathroom! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
Unless you are a contractor...STAY AWAY!!! While they have a great selection, the service is sub-par by light years. If you are a patient person who has loads of time to call and email, this is the place for you. They will not follow up and when they do, never follow thru.Go thru Hillers if you can. That service is beyond compare and the people actually care.
Friendly staff and endless choices for tile!
Tons of options and ideas
