Goods.1. The ladies that cash you out are great.Thats it. Thats the only good thing.Bads1. They will add about 50% mark up on any work you need done.2. A car I keep up on and have a usual mechanic in the family keep an eye on thats only a couple years old mysteriously has issues that are extremely improbable for the amount of miles on it after I take it in.3. If they fix something they break something thats usually how it works. I mark every part on my car and keep it updated.4. Never likes to answer the phone.5. No matter how much overhead is on new cars your lucky to talk them down to anything. Can get the same car cheaper anywhere else.Basically. If you want to buy an overpriced vehicle and keep coming back to get it fixed. Buy here.
I could never imagine my first time going for a lease would be this much of a nightmare. After being hit twice and losing my vehicle while working two jobs, I was hoping to get right into a vehicle right away.To start I had to call through the auto parts department because I couldn’t get through to anyone in sales. Even the gentleman I talked to said it shouldn’t be that hard for me to get a vehicle. I got told 3 separate times I was approved and good to go just to be followed with needing more information with poor communication on what was going on. Everyone I had spoken with, Brian and Michelle, we’re rude and cold. The only person I actually had a decent conversation with was George, the finance manager, he was very nice and personable.After frustrating conversation with bob kohnson, I mentioned I might POSSIBLY go ahead with a different dealer and was happy to say I was going to pick up a vehicle tomorrow morning …. That was until Bob Johnson declined everything of mine to prevent that from happening.It wasn’t until the very mention of another dealership getting my business and money, that a deal wasn’t possible
Not happy at all. Had a 930am appointment for 2 rear tires change and an oil change. They initially told me would be afternoon. They advised there was other vehicles ahead of me that came in over the night. Be advised I had a set appt time. Then supposedly manager said after 2 1/2 hrs he was sorry for this. Would be no later than 145pm. This still is over 4 hours. So I came back and its now 230 and now they say couple more minutes. Wow I really cant imagine if I had something major. Come on bob Johnsons get with it. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

Buying the car was the easy part, of course. The office and finance management is a nightmare to deal with. They sent a payoff check to the wrong address which took over 45 days to take care of. Now, my insurance company says Bob Johnson did not respond for the photo paperwork of the new vehicle, and I have to go get photos taken myself.Once you drive off the sales team wants nothing else to do with you, and there is a culture of offloading issues to what seems like a non-existent and unresponsive admin team.I would not recommend purchasing from this dealership.
My 91 years old father -in law ran over some newly paved road. some asphalt stuck to his tires. Making a thumping noise he went to service where they tried to get it off. So they sold him two new tires, not four? instead of telling him to drive on the tires for the weekend and see if it comes off. tried to resolve this to no avail. VERY BAD SERVICE ADVICE AND ETHICS

I had to have my vehicle towed in on a flatbed because my ignition was jammed up and I couldnt turn the key to start the vehicle or even put my windows up.By the time we got there, the service department was closed and locked up. The sales department was open but they were slammed with customers.I was able to get the attention of a sales manager and asked if they could let the tow truck drop my vehicle inside the shop so as not to leave it outside over the weekend with the windows down and the car unlocked.Even though they were slammed, they figured it out for me. They called the Service Manager at home on his cell phone and everyone just went way above and beyond to help me. Super grateful!
All I needed was an inspection. They dont take appointments and was told to go to their Pit Stop location. One hour into my wait and no where near completion.PS car has 17000 miles

While I had zero complaints when I was giving them money to buy a truck, their service has by far been the worst experience Ive had with a vehicle. They will never return your calls, will make false promises about service completion dates, and will lie when you ask what the status of the vehicle is. I brought my 2020 Silverado in 4 weeks ago to get a transmission noise looked at. Not only is the truck still in the shop, but they hit it in their parking lot requiring a whole new body panel to be replaced.
I leased a 2021 Trailblazer after my salesperson, talked me out of buying used. He stated why buy used and pay a car payment for a car you’ll have to fix and take to the mechanic. I haven’t had the car 2 weeks and the transmission went. It took me nearly two days to get roadside assistance to tow it. I finally had to go there and demand assistance. I contacted both my salesperson and manager with no response! I now am driving a rental which mind you looks like a golf cart and my “new” transmission will not be fixed for another 2-3 days! I was treated like complete garbage and when asked would I be given a rental was told I can’t promise you that. What a joke! A brand new car requiring a new transmission. The service center attendants are extremely rude and have no clue how to speak to people. Worst experience of my life!

Took my Kia in to get serviced for bad break lines. The customer service/communication was despicable. I couldnt get anyone to call me back. I explained I just started a new job and have a baby, and just wanted an update so I could plan accordingly. I left several messages a day for the service manager, customer service sent message and emails in the hopes that someone would call me back. I even called the service managers manager on 2 separate occasions. He also never called me back. This happened almost daily for an entire week. My family was impacted because they were constantly on standby to see if I needed a ride. The awful customer service and lack of communication made an already stressful situation significantly worse. When they gave me my $900+ bill I asked for a discount due to the terrible communication. They gave me $90 off. Makes me sick that I had to pay them over $800 for this experience.

Incredible experience. Salesman Hector Padgham was awesome. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and built my confidence when I was feeling like things wouldn’t work out. He worked hard to get me every rebate and discount I qualified for. He even made me aware that I could request a refund on the unused portion of my trade in extended warranty. I GOT A $1650 refund. I absolutely love my truck and will definitely be shopping at Bob Johnson’s again.

During shutdown right when they started online sales,applied for loan through their site (I was already pre-approved by GM).Waited several days and nobody called.I called them and the person answering (Sales Manager) stated that the person it was routed to by the website was no longer there.He said someone was going to call me.Waited a few days and tried calling again.Sent to voice mail-left a message.Two weeks later still no answer?!Went online and found a truck in PA.Drove there 2 days later and picked up my truck-it took them 15 mins of prep and paperwork signing!I guess this dealership didn’t need the sale?Oh and I got a beautiful, better packaged Trail Boss for 15k lower than the sticker!It looks like my experience falls in line with many others at this dealership.Luckily I don’t bring my truck to them for service-that department seems to be rated even worse.....
Bought a 2020 Equinox from Bob Johnson on West Ridge Road in Rochester, NY. I take it there for any service needed. Today was the second time that I have requested that the tire pressure be corrected and both times they mark on the paper that it was done when it was NOT DONE!!!! Tires are still at 32 psi and they said they put them to 35 psi. Makes me wonder what else they are not doing when they say they did. Very shady. Now I have to take it to Valvoline to have the tires filled.

I went to Bob Johnson with the intention of checking out the Chevy Spark, seeing if I liked it, and moving on to another dealer if I didnt like it. They had other plans for me. After not loving the Spark, they attempted to find me a few alternatives. When I expressed that my two biggest concerns were gas mileage and affordability, they asked me to test drive a Chevy Volt while they ran the numbers on one to see what kind of deal they could get me. Long story short, I fell in love with the car and they--by some miracle--were able to bring the monthly payments into my price range. Through the entire experience, I felt like my wants were a priority to them and Im very satisfied with how everything turned out.
Every single time i have been in here for issues on my car that has Warranty i have gotten terrible customer service. The older receptionist working on weekends was EXTREMELY rude. The service advisor that was handling everything - did not give me enough correct information and was rude that i did not know the name of the warranty even though they only have 2 kinds and have the info in there system. 0/10 do not recommend.
The have the most horrible service on fixing your car. The people that ask you what they can help you with are rude and condescending. They charge to to nit fix your vehicle so you need to go somewhere to get it done right.

I called to make an appointment for an inspection and they told me to take it to the Quick Lube building next to the dealership. They said that you can stay right in your car and it would take about 20 minutes. It took 20 minutes to find out where to go. Then we spent another hour and a half or more waiting in line to get in the building. Wasting my gas trying to stay warm. Then a whole bunch of people left and they had only 1 bay open. I finally got my truck in the garage and they told us to go wait in the waiting room. Why not have us leave my keys in my truck and they could pull it in when they were ready? They then drove my truck off the premises and never told me that they were going to do that and where they were going with it. We waited another 45 minutes in the waiting room only to find out by ourselves that it wasnt in the shop or on the premises. My son saw my truck pull into the dealership across the street and saw people get out of it. Then another 10 minutes later the truck comes back to the Quick Lube and got parked. How did they check the brakes on my truck when they never asked for the locking lug nut to get the tires off? When they finally brought my keys and the paperwork out for me and to pay for my inspection, I asked them, why did my truck leave the premises? There response was What are you talking about? I said that I saw the truck wasnt on the premises and that I saw it across the street. Then the manager said that your right, we should have told you. YOU THINK!! If they get in an accident with my vehicle and I was never told that they were taking it somewhere they are going to owe me a new truck and I will have sued them 10 ways to Sunday. Then I asked, How they checked the brakes when they never asked for the key to get the wheels off? They said, Was the key in the truck? Yeah, but you dont know where it was nor did you ever take the wheels off. All he could say was, Have a nice remainder of your day. And then turned around and walked away from me. I then told the rest of the people in the waiting room, This is how they treat you when your right!

I bought a ram 1500 from them last year. I brought it in for service at 8:00am and waited all day. I called at 4:30 and nobody had even looked at the truck. Now im told someone will look at it saturday, but no garuntees when it will be able to be fixed. I should add a bout an extended warranty with the truck which was probably a waste since ill most likely end up taking it somewhere else to get fixed. The service department is a joke
GREAT service And Employees are Respectful, Non-Judgemental and they know there job description very well. I sat there for about an hour as my vehicle was getting what it needed and All i saw was employees Helping customers this was professionalism at its Best.They have vending machines and FREE bottled water/coffee etc as you wait. I drove half an hour to Bob Johnsons today to test drive a car only to find out that they had already sold it and hadnt bothered to let me know beforehand. But what bothered me the most is that almost NO ONE was wearing their mask properly!!! All the employees had their mask way below their nose, many had it on their chin (even when talking with clients at their desk!) and the one who greeted us at the front desk (Benjamin Hartwigh) DIDNT HAVE A MASK AT ALL. He proceeded to show us info on his computer with NO MASK. Only when he got up to go across the room did he grab his mask, and even then his entire nose was exposed! I felt uncomfortable being in there. I cannot believe this place. And on the door they have a sign saying to wear masks for protection. Why dont you try telling that to your employees? I wear a mask 8 hours a day working in hospitality and I wear it properly ALL. THE. TIME. Its really not that hard! Thanks for wasting my time and putting the health of your clients and employees at risk! Ill be sure to tell people not to go here and most certainly wont be back.
Drove an hour from Seneca Falls because Ive heard great things about this place, and I was tired of dealing with Bill Crams horrible service. I have never had a better buying experience from the minute I walked through the door until I signed the last document with the finance officer. Sam (Finance) and Robbie (Sales) did not once try to wheel-and-deal but instead gave me exactly what I was looking for and even worked hard to get me more than what I was expecting. I will be gladly going back here from now on.
I dropped my car off to be diagnosed and I dealt with Andrew bisig my car was there for about 5 days and I was told that he did a diagnostic on the car and that it needed several things done when my fiance went to pick the car up he was told that they could not give him a printed diagnostic on the car and that they couldnt tell us what was wrong with it when Andrew verbally told me what was wrong with the car they then tried to charge us $350 for a diagnostic that they couldnt prove they did once my fiance got agitated and you know a little loud the manager then came out and told him they cant give us a diagnostic because they have to attach a part number to it and the part for my car doesnt exist anymore cuz its nowhere in the country they cant find it. Several days later my cousin and I took her car to the same Chevy dealership were the same things that were wrong with my car was wrong with her car she got with someone other than Andrew I believe his name was Chris when she got her car back she got a printed diagnostic of what was wrong with the car so I asked her the person that she dealt with chevy gives printed Diagnostics? He said absolutely and then handed her her printed diagnostic. So what was Andrews problem with giving me my printed diagnostic because the same parts that I needed on my car my cousin needed on hers and she has a printed diagnostic. Needless to say this Chevy is not a great Chevy their sales team may have great rating but their service is lacking I would not recommend this place at all to anyone.

If i could give 0 stars i would bought my suburban in for a diagnoses Andrew Bisig was VERY negative from the start after looking at the vehicle he told me it needed a new rear differential. It wasnt until my insurance adjuster came out and denied my claim that andrew was no longer interested in helping me. He wasnt able to provide a estimate to repair my truck nor could he provide a print out of my diagnosis. He continued on to tell me my truck wasnt Worth Fixing even after i explained that my truck holds sentimental value. When it was time for me to pick up my truck and paperwork he refused to print me anything and didnt charge me for the 300$ 3 hour diagnosis that he claimed to have done. He made my first experience at this chevy terrible. I suggest another chevy because these people are not on your side!!

Why have appointments when you have to sit in a car line? My appointment was a 1:15pm and I sat in my vehicle for an hour plus to get into the garage to be served. It would have been nice to know that your policy was changed I would have arrived at 8am! It appears that you do not car for service customers. I will take my vehicle to another garage. My time is just as important!

Went to test drive a Chevy Bolt after seeing a good ad. Salesman introduced himself with I dont know much about the Bolt and proved himself right... He knew nothing about it.Sat down, gave the standard info, had the trade in appraised, waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After 25 minutes we left. I dont even know what their price was! I told the salesman to call me with the numbers. He did call back but such a frustrating experience.

He has your back and does what he can to help even when his hands are tired with other departments. Fantastic purchase experience. Due to working overnight hours I was able to work with my salesman, James Campbell, via several text messages and phone calls. Initially I was trying to work with a dealer closer to my home, but had a negative experience playing the typical games that some car dealerships try to use to manipulate numbers. James and Bob Johnson Chevrolet were no nonsense and I got a fantastic deal getting me out of a current lease I was in well before the lease reached maturity. The experience was very very fast when I went to the dealership to seal the deal. They located the vehicle I wanted from another dealership and had it there that day. I only had to work with James, and the finance manager, which was a huge time saver and much appreciated. The Service Department at this place is a bad joke. They don’t take appointment times seriously and keep you waiting as long as they want and are unapologetic about it. I’ve given them multiple chances over the last several years and more than half the time they don’t even pull your vehicle inside to start work till 30-45 minutes after your appointment time.

We told him what we wanted and he searched the state for the best fit, found it and gave us the best price wed found in the area. I would recommend them to my family, recommend them to my friends. I purchased a GMC Sierra in April 2020 not even a year of ownership I’ve had to replace both rear wheel rotors. I have placed a call to the salesman that sold it to me and waiting for a return phone call!

Had service over at there Pit Stop. Service in all took about 35 minutes, which was good, but the staff there are very rude! Younger heavier set gentleman and a bald older gentlemen were talking very loudly, for all customers to hear there conversation. They would not listen to me about having another free oil change, as my truck was given to me with less than 80% oil life. The bald guy muttered another customer. Get better staff at the Pit Stop, to make it a place where customers are appreciated and want to go for service. I will not be getting another car from Bob Johnson due to how poor this place is. Should have kept all maintenance at the dealership.

Just for me to decide to go with another dealer dye to the lack of communication ...which is fine with me i will never spend my money where its not wanted...
They speak down to women and judge you off of how you look. I also realized that they are not honest people who work there and they sold me a 20k vehicle that was in a accident that they didn’t inform us about. Bad business bad customer service
Just completed a lease deal for a Chevy Tahoe with Hector. My wife and I, due to our young family and busy schedules, can be very difficult customers. Hector was a call/text away through the entire process. He was also very straight forward and upfront with the finance portion of the car buying experience, zero pressure to make a deal that is out of your comfort zone. Bob Johnson has a huge inventory making it very likely that you will find something that will fit wants/needs without having to look around for the “right vehicle”. I’m looking forward to leasing my next vehicle from Hector/Bob Johnson.

The worst service I have ever experienced. Went last monday to lease a new traverse, was told we would be able to pick it up Thursday. Dealer called and told us it wouldnt be ready until the next Monday. Deal called on today, Monday and told it wasnt completely ready by we could still pick it up at 5:30 and come back to get the rest of the upgrades another day. Bummed, but we agreed. Went to our 5:30 appointment and they said the paper work was being done, multiple times over the course of an hour. Come to find out the paperwork wasnt even started. We waited an hour, wasted our time and never got the car. I am disgusted with the mediocre service the sales department displayed. I have heard from many people about the lack of care and respect Bob Johnson has for its clients but we have now experienced first hand today. Very frustrating.
Their new quick lube area is fantastic. I was in and out in 25 minutes for an oil change. Bob Johnson has always had a nice waiting room, and coffee station which was present at this new spot. Staff were unfriendly and talked about customers loudly in the waiting area. Very very unprofessional and rude. Service was great and worth coming back for, but get some new staff.
I am currently waiting in the Bob Johnson Chevrolet waiting room and have been since my appointment time at 2:30. It is now 4:30. I am here for an oil change and a recall, which should all take about 1 hour to complete. My car was taken in literally seconds ago to start the work. This is unacceptable. The service advisor I am working with has said NOTHING to me since I got here and I have had to communicate with someone else. I will not be coming back.
After buying 4 cars in 8 years our last purchase was the worst car buying experience I’ve had in over 40 years of buying cars. Delivery of the vehicle was a myriad of mistakes and oversight.It took four different people to process the transaction.
Came in to get an oil consumption test on my 2013 equinox back in July, they changed my oil and told me to come back within 2,000 miles and they would check and see if my vehicle was burning oil and if it had damaged my engine. If it had damaged my vehicle the repairs should have been covered by chevrolet. After 1,000 miles I brought the vehicle back in and was told chevy will no longer cover the cost of the oil consumption test and the damages to my equinox because the coverage expired a few weeks ago. At no point was I told that I had a time limit, just a mileage limit, all I got was a sorry thats my fault I shouldve told you that from the service associate. Looks like the customer gets screwed and nobody cares at bob johnson. Thanks for the horrible customer service. Would not recommend.
My wife and I are very pleased with our experiences at Bob Johnson Chevy. Our sales person Sam Cubbiotti by far the best car salesman we have ever had to deal with. He is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He listens to the customer, assesses their needs and makes a recommendation on the right car for you. He is far from being a pushy salesman; he is quite the opposite. There is never any need to negotiate the price; he knows what you want to pay and knows what his manager will OK and gives you a fair price. On all three cars, we have bought from him he has given an acceptable price the first time; no need to negotiate a better price. We have also used your service department and have always been pleased with how we were treated and satisfied with the work done on our car. I bought a great car, but the service after the sale is horrible. I have not received the Title, Road side assistance information etc in over a year. I am still trying to get a return phone call. It took over two months to receive the extra key.
They keep saying Bob Johnson but I don’t know who that is. Until I know it’s going to be a 1 star rating
Absolutely HORRIBLE. went in with my dad to co-sign for me with a very short list of what I NEEDED. literally 2 things that were a must and everything else I was open to. One of the things was my budget. And I came in on Saturday and then sat around for 2 hours and did nothing. Was supposed to hear back that Monday - I tried contacting my salesmen but didn’t hear back. Heard on Tuesday with an offer 27 dollars over my max budget and refused to come down on price. They told me I would have to get a different car - not an issue at all. I even reached out to my sales rep with an option of one less than what they showed me but again I was ghosted by both the salesmen and the finance manager. I even reached out to the sales manager and still nothing. It’s like I was BEGGING them to take my money and finally after a week of this with NO PROGRESS I had to give up. Wouldn’t recommend my WORST ENEMY to go there.
Absolutely the worst service ever left a car for diagnostic, a week later they kept asking me who is the service writer, Im giving them my car info and nothing.
Parts department was no help at all, I needed a key made for my 2013 Chevy Silverado which is not registered yet. And the guy helping me out told me some bogus law that he can’t do it for me after I showed him the title of ownership and the receipt. I’m very disappointed and not satisfied at all.
Andy worked diligently to have our new traverse ready days in advance. He is competent and knowledgeable. He worked hard to make sure we were pleased with our experience.Gary was patient and friendly. Very knowledgeable in the technology set up. I was confident in how to use the new vehicle when I drove off the lot. I can’t thank Greg enough for all the extras he makes happen behind the scenes.
