Good stuff. Too easy to overspend on impulse buys. The executive membership pays for itself in no time. Cheapest gas in town. Needs more scooters for those who have trouble walking.

Canceled membership. Have a excellent credit rating and they denied a credit card. The place is way too crowded.The Liquor store is not really affiliated the employees told us and the gas station is a hurry up and wait...not my kind of place

Another great Costco experience. First time visiting and certainly not disappointed. It’s like being home again. Limited alcohol sales. Beers, hard seltzer and sangria. A non Costco liquor store is attached with pretty good prices. Spotless clean and very well organized and maintained. Tire center and gas station on property.

Upset with hearing aid dept. Called Monday to ask for assistance in getting a broken ear mold replaced. No call back. Called back on Tuesday and made contact with a receptionist who told me ear mold was still under warranty and I needed to come in to see a technician - no appointment necessary but a 62 mile round trip. Upon arrival Im told not under warranty and I had to pay $39 for a replacement. No explanation why warranty status changed between Tuesday and Wednesday. Also no explanation why I had to make the trip in when it could have been handled over the phone. Not concerned about the $39 as much as the wasted time and travel and the unconscious responses from the receptionist. Where is the supervision and training?

Costco is a good place for shopping and fun. You can get items in bulk . The price seems reasonable for me, mostly because they are available as bulk packages. Great fan of their coconut oil, spring roll and many more. But one negative thing is that, mostly you don’t have a choice is picking up, only one brand will be available and you don’t have any other option in most of the cases. But still that product is amazing and it’s so good. So it’s at its best. Moreover, it’s fun to go shop at Costco and apparently I couldn’t forget their Slice Pizza 🍕.! I have a slice and then push my trolley for a happy shopping 🛍.!

Love Costco. Its always busy though. I think update NY could use another one!

Costcos a great store. This one Im particular is kept very clean, and orderly. Lots of staff making sure that miscellaneous items are put back where they belong, and are picking up any trash they see as they go through the store. Staff members were very friendly and helpful

When I come to Costco Wholesale I try to come when I have enough time. I hate shopping here when I am in a rush. There are just too many things I miss if I am running.Second thing is the employees here. They are nice but the store is too big for some of them who just dont know the store good enough. Might be a good idea to show them when things are.Overall I love Costco Wholesale and think its one of greatest stores stores in America.

It wasnt easy to find parking near the entrance, but at least inside things went smooth. Got everything I needed and even the return line was shorter than ever.

Imagine my surprise and embarrassment when Im at the check out counter and the Mastercard debit card I have always used to pay for my purchases was rejected just because it has a Mastercard logo on it. Well I wouldnt want to mess up costcos little arrangement with visa, and I guess since you no longer honor my card and I have no intention of switching just to make you richer I can no longer pay for my membership. So long costco, now would be a good time for Sams club to decide to reopen in Rochester ny

While visiting in Rochester, I picked up a couple of items Id need for home. Best was the inexpensive gasoline fill-up, at least 30 cents per gallon cheaper than local stations. The store itself was up to COSTCOs usual standard.

Costco is so much better than the other warehouse stores. The associates are courteous even under the stress of huge crowds. Checking out is relatively quick considering the crowds. And the managers are always watching to make sure lanes are opened to accommodate the rush. Also the selection of merchandise is top shelf. I wish there were more in our area.

I love this place. Found the stuff I was looking for and also found something I had thought about getting but hadnt intended to purchase (that can wreck a budget, so be wary). They had a lot of choices (was looking for keto friendly foods for new diet) and some that I really didnt expect. All in all, a good experience. Thanks

If I could give Costco a negative star, I wouldn’t hesitate! Their customer service is the worst!I bought a refrigerator last November and apparently they put a red flag next to my account. I could not order anything else on line due to this red flag. I was on the phone with Costco for 2 hours and they asked me a lot of questions to verify who I was and then told me I’d be notified by email in 1 to 3 days . I never got the email and then a week later, Costco put me on hold for a long time again!!! I never was given any explanation of why they put a red flag on my account. I’m DONE, and I’m never buying from Costco again or renewing my membership!

Some excellent deals on commonly needed merchandise. Very helpful and informative staff. Fantastic gasoline prices for members.

Always pretty busy here but it’s clean and the cashiers are quick, even on the craziest days.

Wish they could bring back whole milk yogurt I think it was mountain high brand. Very yummy yogurt at a reasonable price. Also wish they could get wheat flour from India. Other places do have aashirwad / royal brand with Amitabh bachhan ... again at a reasonable price.

Three stars because the employees are hit and miss. Some are wonderful, some are jerks. The store is always packed on the weekends. This is the place to go if you want affordable over the counter medications.

The store is very clean. The prices are incredible. The selections are huge I mean huge if so much stuff in the store that you can stay in there for hours and hours!! And I dont know anywhere else when you can get a long beef hot dog and a soda with refills for $1.50 its my store for life

There were plenty of personnel to assist customers and this was well stocked. Worth the visit and it didnt take much time to find what was needed and to complete our task. This is a clean facility.

The Girls in the bakery were very nice, even write on a cheese cake for me.

Warehouse. Got a couple of items and some reasonably priced gas for the car.

Good place for bulk buys, I go every two months or so. I enjoy walking the whole store each time and always find something neat or new to try.Tends to be a busy place, but registers flow quite quickly.

Love Costco. After Wegmans this is next up on places I like to contribute discretionary spending.

Crowded aisles/unnecessary traffic jams. Easy fix would be to use the aisle direction arrows most grocery stores have been using. No signs to find food & staff dont know if its not in their section.

Very nice; however I wish they were open later on Saturdays and Sundays. Also, during weekdays, they don’t open until 10am where other wholesale place open at 9am.

On 12/29/20 @ about 7:10 pm I shopped at Costco on335 Westfall Road. Rochester NY 14620. As I drove into the parking lot to park . I noticed all the shopping cart bins full and some flowing out into the roadway. One return was so full of carts they extended past the center of the road causing a dangerous condition in the parking lot. I contacted the store manager about the issue. When I went back out to the parking lot an hour later the carts had not been removed. Poor job store manager. I realize that it takes many dumb witted customers to continue to put their carts in such away, but the manager should have sent someone out to fix this.

Good prices. Tooooo busy to make you feel important as a customer...

Its interesting coming into this wholesale store, there is something new all the time. Honestly I think the price for membership is a little steep if youre on a fixed income. Although BJs does gives Veterans a discount on their membership.Although I really miss Sams Club.

Fake and expired products worse place to shopWhenever you want to purchase from Costco please check expiration date Costco sells expired products or near to expire they just concerned about your business they forget to die this is very sensitive and serious issue they are selling expired babies formula milk they are playing with the life of our babies. Good prices and deals. Cheaper to buy in bulk and good food. Even if you have a small family you can freeze extra food or give it to your family or another familyIt is all about knowing what you buy and how you use it.

Gas is about 20c cheeper than anywhere else. The lines are pretty fast too, both gas and checkout lines. The issue is the amout of space in the store. On a normal day there is barley any room fpr anyone to walk.

Clean, well organized. Employees seemed like they were being treated well and from what I understand, theyre paid a living wage and get good benefits.

Like many, parking lot is full, but if you are willing to park a bit further theres always hassle free parking. I am not lazy and OK with walking a little. Their customer’s service is really good. Expect that you need to wait long time in the Electric section. Recommended

This is the only Costco store in Rochester. If you are looking for family size/monthly or yearly supplies, this is the one for you. You can find a lot of good quality products with bundle prices. I always buy seafood, fruits and dairy products from Costco because those are very fresh and decent price. If you go there on the weekend, you will have chance to taste great sample food. Costco has delicious bakery products too. You literally can find literally anything here. Only thing is some seasonal products you can only get once in a year such as Designers perfumes, winter shoes and Disney tickets.

I love going there to shop. Sometimes its very busy but the employees do there best to get things moving fast. Example, I was walking out the door and the line was so long, an employee came running saying two lines, two lines. So it moved faster.

This Rochester location is one of my least favorite Costco’s. They didn’t have half the stuff we were looking for.

They dont mark whats in the aisles so youre wandering around aimlessly trying to find something. And they only take Mastercard??? I had to use a debit card I didnt want to!!

I mean it’s Costco. There isn’t much more to say. Though this one can get very busy on Saturday’s with long lines. I recommend going during the week if you can.Apparently the liquor store isn’t associated with Costco so anyone can go in there. I wish I had known this a long time ago.

Supersize everything! Most everything we buy is high quality. The Kirkland brand is very good especially the coffee! Like any store there are good / great deals and some no different than your local stores. Know your pricing and you will be able to take full advantage of the good deals. Checkout is efficient and quick. No bagging so come prepared. Oversized carts help hold oversized items. Highly reccomend!

This place is great. It’s just like most wholesale club but the Costco brand products are better than any other wholesale clubs products as well as the prepared foods here are also extremely good

Costco Wholesale stores are always clean, they have lots of space and you can take your time when shopping. Very busy at times but the checkout was quick and overall it is a store I love and usually able to save money. One thing I hate about Costco is that you need to pay for membership.

As far as wholesale clubs go, this is a great one.

Best place to get wholesale amount of things ranging from vegetables, fruits, meat, cheese, eggs, household items, electronics and cloths. The pricing is amazing. Youll get a variety of options for everything. The quality is really good. Clothing brands like Eddie Bauer and Adidas can be found here.

Love the place, always spend more because of the new things that come in or discounts. Second best to Sams #1.

I think for me the trick is to shop at less busy times. Maybe early morning during the week. This time was a Sunday late afternoon and it was not too crowded. I just can not stand fighting crowds to shop. This trip was perfect and I feel like there were a lot of good deals.

Today I stopped in at 10:15 am. Parking lot pretty full. Store was hopping. I found what I needed and got in line to check out that went from registers up front all the way to the back of store and the some! It went very quick staff were great. Out in 15 mins! A lot of good deals on electronics and winter clothes. My biggest problem with Costco is how the ages of merchandise is organized. Seems little rhyme or reason. I even asked an employee if the aisle numbers mean anything to anyone but employees. He said no. I always have good interactions with the employees though. They are very knowledgeable with their store and merchandise.

Some issues with becoming a member. But in the end the CSR worked her magic and made me one HAPPY customer. Its all about customer care. We need a Costco in Greece old SAMS location would be fabulous.
