My fiancé bought me a ring in November. I had to bring it in for repair due to snagging it really bad on something. So we sent it in through the Zales store, they called 10 days after it was supposed to arrive and I went to pick it up(5 weeks total repair time). I was all set to leave when the lady working went to examine it and take photos and she noticed it was missing a stone on the band and had loose stones (which wasn’t the original issue). Do not bring your ring here for repair. After $300 my ring is still not fixed and has an issue that wasn’t there before I brought it in. I have brought it to a new location to get the issue resolved which will cost me an addition $70. At the start of picking up my ring after repair, I initially wanted to put the warranty on it. After seeing its condition following repair, I got a refund of the warranty as I will NEVER bring it back there. Take your precious jewelry elsewhere! :) it will be more cost effective and ensure that it will be fixed and not further damaged. The lady that helped me at the store was super nice through this process but it’s not worth the time and money to repair through their store.
My fiancé and I both bought our rings here, Ash was a great in helping me decided what looked best and what I liked. As a person with chubby fingers I struggle to find rings I like and she found the perfect one for me!
Ask for Gary yall, you wont be disappointed!!!!
I dont really like coming to this location only because its a long distance from my house amd it feels inconvenient since they closed down the Manakto location to drive out here to just have someone look at my ring for 5 mins but the staff that I have dealt with when I do come to get my ring inspected are always nice!
We had amazing service here. They went above and beyond to help us out and we found the perfect wedding ring. All of the jewelry there is so beautiful it was hard to choose!
So we walked into the zales store in rochester mn and we waited 25 minutes then someone finally came and said they would be right with us. We saw 5 different couples/men walked in and get helped immediately while we waited almost a hour. So we waited about 55 minutes before they finally helped us. Being told someone would be right with us 3 different times.
Hannah and Ashley were AMAZING to work with!
Awesome service
I have inquired a couple of times about re-sizing rings and also with my personal difficulties (allergy to material) with a wedding band that I bought from Zales. I spoke with Gary, who has been extremely kind, professional and helpful regarding the questions that I had and spent a lot of time helping me get everything that I needed.
Dont expect to get helped when you arrive. They will proceed to help everyone that walks in after you first.
Was looking fir a birthstone it and it was 50% of but I didnt have the money with me. I wish I di i would of bought it it was fir my granddaughter. Thank you
Wow so much negativity here!My husband and I would like to give a shout out to Tyler! We feel that he took the extra time to help us find what we needed! We bought just a simple non diamond wedding set for our shotgun wedding before our baby was due to arrive. Tyler was great help even though it was a small sale. Fast forward two months ahead...We are now ready to purchase our real ring and Tyler has been great help. Ask for Tyler!
Kelsey-sp? But she is the best!! I wanted to trade my engagement ring in and she was FANTASTIC, she went above and beyond her job, she showed me every ring that I wanted to see. Iwas married in October,,again best service Ive ever had. She really cares about you and what your looking for.
Worst experience EVER. I went in to order a special Mothers Ring from my children for Mothers Day. Gary placed the order and gave me the receipt. I called the following week to get the status of the order. The person that answered the phone said she does not know how to do that because she has only worked there for 1 month, and to call back in 10 min and talk to Gary. Placed on hold x6 through the day after much wait I am told the ring was never ordered. I was told many different stories, in the end they blamed it on a glitch in the computer system. I called Customer service to let them know of the horrible customer service I have received from this store. She offered to reorder the ring online- I told her I can do that myself. She looked it up and if I order today I can get it in 12 business days. Mothers Day is tomorrow. I was unimpressed that this was all they had to offer. Customer service HUNG UP on me! Never will shop there again, there are many competitors and none of them have this kind of disrespect and rude customer service.
I went in and talked with Brian. He was a great guy, very easy to get along with, didnt try and sell me something I didnt want. And saved me money where ever he could. If you are looking for an easy going guy that wont try and take as much money as possible, go to Zales and ask for Brian.
I wish i could give zero stars. boyfriend purchased a ring for my birthday and hours after i had the ring a diamond was already missing. instead of being immensely apologetic for very poor quality, i was told i need to go in. after going in i was told i need the card it was originally bought with to return the ring, and then repurchase. even though i had the receipt?! on top of that the return would take 2-3 days to appear back on the card. i was told if i wanted the ring to be sent in immediately i’d need to purchase a lifetime warranty for 70$, which i ultimately did so i could leave the store. i do not recommend ever purchasing anything from this store, unless you’d like a poor quality item that breaks hours after receiving.
Customer service was awesome!!
The little older gentleman I think Gary is his name is the only person that works there that deserves a job. You go in to spend money, to buy gifts and the employees are so numb,no personality, unfriendly and definitely couldnt sell snow to a 2 yr old looking to build a snowfort. Rude...go to Riddles across the mall, treat you how you should be treated.
We took my ring in to have it resized and soldered together. On the day that it was supposed to be returned to the store, I called and was told that the ring had come in that day but a stone had fallen out during transit. I said youve got to be kidding me, how does that happen? The store clerk said I dont know. We dont know how the UPS guys handle those boxes, if they throw them around. We sent it back to be fixed, it will be about a week. I asked again how does this happen. The clerk said what do you want me to do yell at the UPS guy! NO I just want my ring back. The service in the Rochester store stinks as does their attitude! Will never do business there again and would not recommend them to anyone!
Incredibly slow experience. Will definitely be shopping elsewhere. Plan on waiting, particularly if you need any kind of post-sales service.
Mr.Blume provided special care, service and really made us feel important and taken care of.Thank you for your kindness, honesty, and knowledgeable service!
I give one star because I cant go any lower.... John, if thats his real name (because if I gave as horrid customer service as him, I would lie about my name too.) is a piece of work. I have NEVER in my life met someone who is so blatantly rude, condescending and argumentative! He literally argued with me about providing the service he is PAID to do. All I needed was my bi-yearly ring check but refused to do so because I didnt have the sheet to sign which I know is no big deal because Im a past employee of that exact store location. After him arguing with me about who lives farther away from the store.... as if I care that he lives farther away than me... Im not getting paid to go there... anyway, I ended up calling customer service who, of course said he was wrong and told him so. so I went back into the store to get my ring check done. Megan, who was really awesome and helpful was there to help thank god. John was in the store but was too much of an arrogant prick to apologize for his terrible service. Im actually quite upset thats the closest store to me and Im unfortunately stuck going back for my checks but John needs to go asap!!
Absolutely terrible customer service and extremely rude. I had purchased an item for about $160 and attempted to return it. I had asked for a cash refund but, unfortunately, they didnt have that much on hand. This didnt bother me as she said she would call me when they got enough cash. A few days later I receive the call and return to the store to meet another associate. He says he needs to get the manager so they come back and the manager asks for my address without explaining the reason. A minute later he says I should receive a check in the mail in 2 weeks. I try to explain to him that I had communicated with another women about getting a cash refund but he says the item was over $150 so they couldnt give me cash when it CLEARLY states on the receipt that $200 is the maximum cash refund. He absolutely disregards anything I say. Overall terrible experience, I would advise anyone to go to a different jeweler.
Literally the worst place to go in town for jewelry. The people who work there are extremely rude and unprofessional! Me and my wife have started going to Kay Jewlers for cleanings and other small things! They need to be fired! Would give 0 stars if it were possible.
This was the worst customer service I had ever seen in a store. You know this is a jewelry store. We were gonna buy a engaged ring. We were gonna spend around 6 grand to buy a diamond ring. When we were picking the ring. We hope the staff can give us more imformation about the ring like how is the clarity and how is color. The staff looks like care nothing. He just asked me how much I gonna spend. I said around 5 grand or 6 grand. But I need to see quality first then we can decide. He turn on the iPad. He spent a while on iPad. Cause the iPad was a little slow. So I said that’s fine. We can just look around. So we gave back one ring to him. We were leaving.Almost we were at the door. He yelled to us”are you serious. “He showed the anger to us. I can’t believe this is the way how they served customers. I can’t believe they treat customers like this. I heard he put ring back and closed the window so strongly. So scared us. What the hell. Even we don’t buy or even we don’t like. How they can show anger to us. This was worst experience I picking ring. So I head to Riddles jewelry in front of zales. The employees in Riddles Jewelry were professional and attentive.
My boyfriend bought a promise ring from your branch of zales in Rochester. When he gave it to me on January 7th it was too tight, which is weird because I went to get my finger sized a week before and I was a size 8. He then took it back January 9th and found out the guy had given him a size 7 instead of 8. So they made him pay for the resizing fee even though he was given the wrong size to begin with. They then told him it will take a week or two, he wasnt called to pick it up until February 3rd... almost an entire month in their possession. I think they just took advantage of him, and him being so kind. I would like corporates number please.
Great place to buy
