Super friendly staff, and a great selection of new and used LPs and CDs.
Small shop with lots of inexpensive finds if you are looking for albums. They have some cds too. The owner was very accommodating. He looked for some music for me, and my husband wanted to hear some speakers he didnt have out. He set them up so he could listen. Not to mention he stayed almost an hour after closing to help us out since we live over an hour and a half away. Cant wait to get the new speakers hooked up. We will be back!! Thank you so much!
Great place to buy CDs vinal records
A really fun curated selection. Very neighborhood/personal vibe. Primarily along the classic rock/pop vein but smaller selections of punk, jazz, metal, classical, etc. We bought 5 records and they were all really well priced and played great! Didnt check them before purchasing and didnt need to.
Mark is very patient presenting his lines and explaining all the features.
I purchased a pair of Klipsch Chorus from Mark and not only did he personally deliver them, he helped me carry them to my listening space (2nd floor!- )I have made the majority of significant equipment purchases from Mark and I will continue to make his shop my primary destination for further enhancements!I have been frequenting the Rochester audio video shops for almost a decade and was so glad to stumble upon this shop two years ago. Definitely a local gem.
Nice relaxed vibe. Used cds are in very good shape. Not a huge inventory, but I found 4 discs I could not find at larger stores. There is jazz, classical, as well as rock with some r&b and reggae. Did not look at vinyl or equipment but there was a good stocking of both. Close to the Brighton 12 corners with ample parking when I visited.
I have been a customer of CDE for many years. Mark is an impeccable purveyor of vinyl and digital media and has an exemplary, ever changing, selection of new and used analog and digital electronics. Setup and limited repair services offered. Highly recommended.
Nice place love the atmosphere
Great selection of records and CDs. One Id been looking for a very long time was right there. Owner uses a nice cleaning system on the used records. Has a modest selection of equipment set up in the back, also. Ill be back next time Im in town.
CD Exchange is a music lovers mecca. Plenty of new releases, and if they dont have it, theyll order it for ya and it only takes a few days. Used selection is pretty unbeatable too -- chances are theyll have your favorites AND a ton of new discoveries too. Used CDs are typically $5, plus tons of DVDs and all different essential genres of tunes. If you want advice, just ask. Workers are plenty knowledgeable and non-judgmental.
Awesome place!
Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
Rob was very helpful and professional
