I went to this store since other auto NTB advised to change all six coils but they said one ignition coil which had issue needs to first for $145 dollars. Precision manager gave estimate and said whichever ignition I told them to fix they will perform the work. It is my oversight couldn’t see the estimate properly and went ahead with the work. The ignition coil work which is front side and don’t take less than 10 minutes or lesser. They charged twice which is #284 dollars. One one done manager didn’t even come to me explained everything is good etc. later realized the reason she is hiding because of double charge. Please be careful before performing work here!!

Who ever did my oil change didn’t tighten my oil plug and the thing fell out...Resulting in all of my oil draining out and damaging my engine. So upset!! I may need a whole new engine after this.Edit: I am changing it from a 1 to a 3 star because the manager Brenda is FANTASTIC. She rectified the situation, paid for the repair (thank Jesus no engine damage) as well as covered the cost for the tow truck and even gave a credit for a car wash due to the smoke that entered the car when the oil leaked and burned. I am happy with how well they handled everything. Good management is everything!

Compliments all around for this team. I have always been satisfied with the work they performed and the costs seem reasonable to me. Only Precision Tune Ive been to making people wait outside right now, understandably if its an overflow of people but when no one is around and when its pouring rain or burning hot out that is ridiculous! The lady (Lucy?) at desk did not say there was a wait time (no one was there). Waited for over an hour with no attention so went back in and was told by her whenever they finish working on two more cars sitting around. She was very unapologetic and just asked if I wanted to try another day. Left and got served immediately down the street. Doubt Ill be back after that.

Hands down the best automotive shop around. TRUST ME!!

Was out of town on a camping trip and had a problem with the front drivers side brake smoking. Took truck in at 10:30 am and they had me back at the camp ground by noon. Greatest mechanics in town. Always comparing them to others I find them the most reasonable and affordable to do business with. They are pricey but honest and do their best to keep you in a safe dependable vehicle. Two thumbs up.

Ive been going to Precision Tune for 21 years. I refuse to go anywhere else. Ive been to a few other places in Rock Hill (no names due to being friends with these people,)and I went to Tire Kingdom in Charlotte due to location convenience for work. Tire Kingdom printed a long list of things that needed to be fixed. I wanted a second opinion and took it to Precision Tune. After checking my car, they came back and told me that I really only needed 2 or 3 things done. I knew then, that I had found the BEST mechanic shop. Honesty is important with any relationship!

Call early this morning and asked for a good time to come for an oil change. The gentleman said Right now is good. Two bays are open now. It was 9:15. I quickly dressed and got there in 20 minutes.20 minutes later, I was leaving.Fiendly, clean and courteous.

HorribleI had work done here. Paid $700 for it and in less than 30 minutes the car was broke again and they did absolutely NOTHING to assist me with it.

I had a bad starter and needed it repaired ASAP. I was getting an oil change from another location and my Jeep had major issues restarting. My Jeep is my “baby”. The other place suggested Precision Tune. I called and they were VERY accommodating and understanding to my situation - I’m from out of town. The only thing Precision Tune Auto is good for is an oil change. Went it comes to actually fixing a car I don’t think they meet the standers. Every Time they fix something on my car they seem to mess something up to make me have to come back and spend more money. So I would not recommend them u less your getting a oil change.

Another shop did tune-ups and parts replacement trying to resolve a starting issue with my Dodge pickup for around 300 dollars with no resolve of the issue. After bringing it in 3 times to that shop, I remembered the great experience i had at Precision Tune Auto on Cherry Road in Rock Hill when I took another vehicle in for a brake job. When I called them, the manager explained to me that they had a mechanic with many years experience who generally can figure out problems quickly. That is exactly what they did. They figured out the problem quickly - it needed a new distributor. The price was fair and the truck starts right up and has been running great ever since.

The team at Precision is pretty straightforward and fair. They do good work with good pricing. Wish they would update their customer area and have a cleaner facility, but thats not a deal breaker for me.

This place is horrible. The manager is one of the RUDEST people I have ever met!!!!!! They tore my car up, it was pouring oil and they refused to fix it. After a ton of drama, they did fix my car, but only because I told them I was going to the dealership to have the damage that they caused reviewed by REAL mechanics. They are idiotic, ridiculous, and a waste of money. They will never receive my business again.
