My experience with this dealership has been absolutely terrible. In fact I have had to make an appointment at an out of town dealership due to the total lack of service at the Rockford Jaguar service department.
Had cash at the ready to purchase a vehicle out right I liked in their inventory today, only to have them tack on a 900+ dollar reconditioning fee, Absolute BS. No other napleton Ive been to charges this bogus fee. Great vehicle... Wouldve definitely purchased if not for this. Also the salesman acted like I was a moron for questioning it.. Sorry I know better.
I had a wonderful experience purchasing a used vehicle. The process was stress free and pleasant. Ryan was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to find me a vehicle that suited my needs.

We purchased a Jaguar F-Pace a few years ago, and recently ordered a new car from another dealer and realized the title on the Jag was not properly filed due to an error on Napletons part. When we called they refused to help us or even admit their mistake even though we had been to the DMV and had proof that they were the ones that filled the paperwork out incorrectly. We spoke to the woman in their titles dept., and their sales manager, as well as their GM Brian, and no one would help us, and we were actually told not to call again. I feel this was childish to not admit their mistake, which is costing us 1600 in lost sales tax while we wait for the corrected title, and very nasty treatment to a customer. We had been talking to Troy at their other dealership on Perryville about ordering a car, and after this treatment we will be going elsewhere. If I could have given lower than one star I surely would have.
Tommy was awesome! I was leasing a Honda Civic and needed something bigger because our third child is on the way, and I went in and told him exactly what I wanted and needed. Nothing fancy, just a basic minivan. I didn’t need any extra perks. He didn’t try to force me into anything I didn’t want, or extra packages. He worked very well with me and took the time to listen to what I wanted and needed.
Have you ever worked with a HONDA dealer on phone for a great deal, without even visiting them? This is the place and SHIRAZ is the man you should be talking to. First of my experience working with a dealer over phone agreeing on a price. No hidden charges when I arrived, it was the same price no bump up on the cost after you arrive at dealership. Excellent experience, I would highly recommend them. Special thanks to SHIRAZ, we didnt even met in person however he made it so easy for me. Thanks for your help Mike for staying late and the service you provided.
I had a great experience today at Napleton Jaguar Rockford. I called Larry Newman, the GM, asking if he could squeeze me in for an oil change. He got me in contact with Nick and they got me in same day with no hassle. I was greeted warmly by Brandi when I arrived and they took care of my oil change and a multi-point inspection in less than an hour. Larry and his staff are great...I wish all dealerships were such a pleasure to deal with. WELL DONE!

AVOID! This is hub of cheaters starting from salesperson to GM Brian.Showed different car and delivered completely different car. Found out later it was probably a demo, as warranty had started one years prior! They never told me and will not correct. I’ll open case with IL Attorney General. And this not one of case. Lot of people had reported same issue.
Set a service appointment up with a courtesy vehicle. They no showed me on day of pick up and didnt bother to notify me. Even the the person directing the calls couldnt get ahold of the service department. Horrible for a luxury dealership. Seems to be a JAGUAR dealership issue as this is the second dealer in different statez to do this.
Rockford Napleton had my car for almost 3 months and couldnt figure out the issue. The engineers continued to troubleshoot making the price go up. I constantly asked them to check the alert, $2500 later the car still wasnt fixed. It ended up being the rear view mirror and the only reason they figured it out was I told them. They took the mirror off and said it would be $1000 to order a mirror . I continue to work with the GM and getting nowhere. Just to talk to the service manager and get the same answer. .

Dear Napleton Jaguar,I know that youve tried, several times to contact me. I apologize for that, I didnt respond because of the fact. That I, was very disappointed, with my service. The car ran better, before I brought it in. I do understand that its, an older car with some issues, but it was much quieter and no leaks, now its just the opposite. But Your customer serviceRecieves ***** I respect Napletons as a business, but I wont be back sorry....

I was very pleased and satisfied with the repair work done on my 2010 Jaguar XF at Napleton. Jeremiah, service writer, was completely honest about what work needed to be done, and his service department was able to complete the work as expeditiously as the parts arrival allowed. They even resolved a nagging problem that another service department had not fixed. Even though Napleton is our closest repair facility, we generally used the dealership where we purchased our Jaguar. I believe they have earned their 5 stars here.

I had my car serviced here and they completely screwed me around. Kept making up problems to fix and telling me more broke then decided to uncharge more than the car is worth! Horrible service and outrageous price!
Not the same napletons service anymore. I have purchased over 10 vehicles, from Audi, to Jaguar, to Mercedes, and serviced them exclusively from Napletons over the last 20 years. Main reason for coming back was the service. Now, since this New Building has gone up, its just not the same. The new service people hired to staff it dont have a clue, they are just bodies that want to tell you that, this is not included and your car needs to have this done, for example my last Jaguar service they said I needed a full alignment on my XKR, because the toe in was off a bit. No uneven tire wear, no pull in the steering, so I declined. It goes back in the following year, and miraculously it doesnt need an alignment. I have lost my trust in this service department, and for that reason I will not be back!Just not what it used to be!
Ive been traveling 35 miles to Napletons for over 15 years for all my Jaguar service and am consistently pleased with my experience. Jerimiah, Gary and Kai really go the extra mile to ensure my complete satisfaction. This is saying something considering how demanding I can be!

Our salesperson, Mike, was so helpful and patient throughout our shopping and buying experiences. Weve been Napleton customers for many, many years and have no plans to go anywhere else for our Honda purchases!
I needed a key fob programmed. I brought it to Napleton in Rockford, IL. and they were not able accomplish this. I was still charged despite their failure to program the key fob. I also had a squeaking noise coming from the back of my XJL. When I asked if they would check this for me, I was told that they were all going to lunch and did not have the time. Well, I have several cars of different makes and models, most mid range or luxury, including Jaguar, Maserati, Porsche, Audi, Acura, and Volkswagen. I find myself at dealerships at least several times annually. I have never had such a negative and indifferent experience as this. The best consistent experience from a dealership I have had has been at Muller Acura in Hoffman Estates. They always bend over backwards and provide superior service. They always follow up with a call to make sure that I was satisfied with my experience. The folks at Motorwerks in Barrington and their other facilities have always been great as well. Had a negative experience in the past with Napleton Porsche in Rockford and never went back. Used to take a previous Jaguar to Napleton Jaguar, but never felt the experience was that great. Tried them again after years and this was the experience I had. Even though this dealership is close to home, I do not believe I would use them again and prefer to drive an hour away to 2 other dealerships going forward. Furthermore, I never received a follow up call following my appointment. Even after completing the survey they sent me expressing my concerns following this appointment, no one from the dealership called me to discuss the results of the survey or to even consider service recovery. You can judge if this is the service you would expect from a luxury brand. I personally was very disappointed.
Ran unauthorized Credit check. Consumers beware. I told my sales rep, John, NO hard credit bureau checks and he said they could run some check that will NOT show up on my credit report. Well surprise, the weasels ran a hard hit after me telling my salesman 5 times be sure no hard hits! I drove the car, liked it and Id think about it. My John No! He said hed call me the next day. No call. I called after 5 days to talk to the finance manager. John answered the phone and asked if he could help. I told him no I needed the finance manager. He put me on hold and came back in a minute and said In short, he/it was busy but would return my call.I asked to wait and he said both finance managers were busy. (2 finance managers, yeah) John said hed call in the morning. After 5 days....(crickets chirping)

Scammmers! After I put my truck in for the recall repairs, they loosened the ground wire on purpose in order for my truck would not start quite soon after I got out of the gate. Called them to ask why is that my truck got out of their repairs in much worse condition then it was when I put it in and why my truck does not start right after I put it in their shop - all their answer was that they can send me the Mercedez roadside assistance and bring the truck in since there are more significant repairs needed.(after $1100 I already spent with them on fixing the issue). I called AAA tow truck. The guy came in, opened the hood, connected the ground wire, started the truck and told me to stay away from the dealerships that go that far as damage the vehicles just to get more bucks. After my truck was in their shop, it got scratches on the panels, screwed up ignition, tampered breaks ( recently changed), accidently disconnected dashboard - they wanted extra $130 to connect it back. No offense to those wonderful people who give them a good rating, but they must be pretty blind. This dealership are pretty profound scammers. Im looking for my options to file the legal complaint here. So, please, beware and never put your precious Mercedez/Audi/Honda whatever else into this place for repairs.
