They open at 12 pm on Sunday. They have comfortable underwear. I am happy. They closed our JC Penney in Kingman, Arizona and I have felt lost. Im back in my hometown on vacation and comfortable underwear is a must. Thank you

Not as good as it used to be when I was growing up, had way more clearance stuff and way more selection. But glad to see it still open and doing good

This review is strictly for the salon, but it affects JC Penny as well. I drive 30 minutes to come here for a haircut, because the people are nice and they do a better job than a great clips. Sign on door says optional to wear a mask if vaccinated. I am the only person in the salon and am told I must wear a mask or no cut. I will gladly take a bad haircut from great clips instead and never buy a thing from a store that has made this type of business decision. Please spend your money elsewhere.

Almost the only place to find plus size girls clothes with an adjustable waist for my wheelchair bound kiddo.

Good sales this weekend pick up a comfortable set and Levis jeans.

Clearance prices are what the starting price shouldve been.I have been coming to this location in cherryvalley mall since high school and now as an adult I still always leave disappointed.**To top my most recent experience off the fitting rooms with super dirty!! Dust bunnies/dirt/tags on the floor, unknown brown stain on the door. No bench or place to set your purse/belongings**But hey! Macys was also just as bad. But it was their bathrooms.

I ordered two bras and get one free. Well i got two bras but not the free on. Called Customer Service which was a waste of time . I was told I would have to send my order back and pay shipping. I didnt receive any paperwork with the bras either. By this time the sale was over. I thought they could have sent me the free one I didnt receive. I will never order from you again. If I would have received some paperwork, maybe I could have driven 40 miles to a Penneys store

And had a hard time keeping my emotions together to take pix with her. She edited my photos and made me cry even more. Worst place to shop in

Mario is the stylist that both my son and I have been seeing for both of our hairstyling needs. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and talented!!!! An excellent Stylist and very patient with us, (my son had extensive surgery on his face two years ago--and was hesitant to trust someone not to hurt him when receiving hair services). Mario is also very friendly, kind, courteous and on time!!! Thank you we will be staying with Mario for the long run!!! We travel 30 minuts for his exceptional service!!!

Great experience at this store. Went to look for a Hoco dress for 1 daughter, and it was a successful venture! They had a nice variety of dresses, and thankfully not all of them were designed with Deep-V necklines. Found a great color and design, and the sales people were totally helpful and willing to take time to make sure everything on the dress was the way it was supposed to be. Its nice to be able to count on such a familiar store chain for this kind of purchase, you just feel better about that.

The store is packed, literally, with goods. Lots of shoppers, few employees. The big and tall mens section is close to nothing and shoved into a corner. Too bad. Older gentleman and bigger men loose out in this store. Better to go on line and shop other department stores or catalogs for your big boys.

A helpful employee led me directly to their Petite turtlenecks, that I was purchasing for my Mom! My Mom says they are super soft and loves them. Mom ONLY wants turtlenecks from J.C.Penney!!!!

I had to look repeatedly for someone to help. I was very confused because the women shoes department has a huge sign that says mens. When I went to check out at the mall entrance, no one was there. When someone finally came, she asked me if I wanted to sign up for a credit card. I asked if the discount would apply to my purchase. She said yes. So I signed up and then was told I couldnt use it because of what I was purchasing. I would have never signed up because all I buy at your store is Nike merchandise. I ended up not even using the credit card. Very frustrating!

Good store and good products

Ive always liked certain lines of clothing Pennys has carried down through the years. They also carry some top-notch products also but come with the price which is reasonable. They certainly have the items most home makers could want in order to make a house very comfortable and livable.

Pennys is sadly not what they used to be. Prices are okay, and selection is not too bad, but it seems like they remodeled some areas and other areas of the store got forgotten. It is hard to compete now I guess, so I cant totally blame them. Nice that they carry appliances now, seeing that Sears is on the way out.

Nice store but a boring store. Went there to get clothes for my 6 year old because they are one of the few stores that carry slim clothes for girls. The only thing they got going for them for them is Sephora.

All the displays are a mess. It is very hard to find anything quickly. If you are wanting to just dash in and grab something... Its not happening at this store.

JCP is a nice medium priced place to shop for fashionable clothing and household goods. If you shop the sales most items are very reasonably priced. Forewarned though, many times non sale items are mixed in with the sale items. You think youre buying pants for 30.00 but at the register you are charged 60.00. Pay attention!!

Great prices friendly service

Penneys is one of only two remaining anchor stores of the cherryvale mall. The store like the mall is showing all the signs of decline. Employees are sparse and the general quality of selection and merchandise is nothing compared to what it once was. Its unfortunate because we need these local stores to survive. Penneys is not alone Macys is also on life support at this location.

This location is located in Cherryvale Mall. They have a very good selection of different items. Also they offer a portrait studio and a hair studio. Very good bargains definitely will be returning

Customer service is good when you can find someone to help you however I love all of the coupons and the deals... I get some really good stuff! At really good prices!

09Jan20..This is, by far, the worst JCPENNEY I have ever been to. I was looking over their selection of Nike apparel. It was awful. Not only could I not find a matching jacket and pants set, none of the colors coordinated. The mens department was in terrible disarray. Shoes all over the place. Not appealing to the customers! Whoever is the shoe buyer for this department should do more research on their customer base. The selections were terrible.

JC Penney in Rockford at the Cherry Vale Mall is a nice large department store with loads of clothes and items of every type. Its clean, well organized with people there to help you if you need it.

I had my hair cut, high light washed and blow styled for under $85 included tip.

Found sale signs to be misleading. Very disappointed to find out prices are not what is listed on the signs.

I was minding my own business looking at fridges with my friends, for fun, and then a woman who works there told us to stop because we are going to break something and because were only looking. I was speechless at the vulgarity of her language and I will never shop at this JCPenney ever again. Be aware next time you go, because there might be very rude managers attacking you.

Whenever you can take a visit to a department store. I went to this store and I found numerous good buys. I purchased several shirts for $9.99. Then they had several other shirts clearance for $5-7 dollars. I had a great time shopping.However at the registers near the mens department JC Penney needs to do something about some of the cashiers they have there. Several different times I have gone up to make a purchase and two of the young men are engaged in chatting and gossiping. Then when I arrive they stand there acting like I am interrupting something important they have going on. Tell the kids to stop talking and ignoring the customer and that they can meet after their shift is over. Aside from that it is a good store.

I am a size 2 or XS and I would buy a lot of blouses if they had my size. They always put the size I need on the mannequin. Why would you put the only size 2 on the mannequin when you have 4 size 12 that you could use and pin it to get the look you need. Im not waiting for someone to come out and take it off for me in 15 minutes. I just walk out.

Its a hit or miss place. Sometimes they have what I want sometimes they dont. I do love the boot sales! They usually have something for my son too.
