My dishwasher died a week before family arrived! When I called the store in a panic on Saturday Liz assured me that if I purchased one they had in stock it could be delivered and installed before Thursday, and when I arrived at the store she personally assisted me with choices and guidance and I am thrilled with my selection. Even better, the delivery / installation / removal was on time and done with the same care and expertise. Im a certified ApplianceLand customer for life!

I just had an LG WashTower delivered and installed that I purchased at the Rockville location. I knew what exact item I wanted when I went to the store. Liz was the agent that helped me and she was friendly and efficient; I very much appreciated the experience. She determined what install parts I needed, which made sure when delivery was ready I would have exactly what was needed. The two delivery guys were excellent. I’ve had the big box stores deliver appliances with their contract delivery people that were all about rushing, and in and out and not very knowledgeable at times. The ApplianceLand guys were knowledgeable and determined (tight second floor delivery and tight laundry closet install) and they were quite friendly. You may pay a little more for delivery here over the big box stores, but so worth it. I will buy my next big appliance here for sure.

Wow. We were able to purchase a refrigerator and have it delivered in 2 days! Bill, the manager and Dan were very helpful in finding and securing a refrigerator in an emergency. It was unheard of for this time during the pandemic when everywhere else it was back ordered or out of stock for 1-3 months. The delivery service and set up was excellent. The people who delivered and set up were great — one of them was bilingual and was able to communicate with my elderly mom. Thank you ApplianceLand! You came highly recommended by a friend and we received equally excellent service.

This store is outstanding and has excellent service. We ordered a new stove because our very old stove stopped worked. This store was willing to change the wiring for the new stove because the old stove was hot wired and did not have an outlet. Home Depot and Lowe were NOT willing to change the wiring for the new stove. I would highly recommend this store to everybody.

20+ years😊weve been ApplianceLand customers! Today continued our positive 🙌experience thanks to DAN! We needed a new refrigerator fast (old one honked-out!) and were able to call the store, look on the website to see refrigerators available (our color, size, preferences options) and make the purchase! We cant thank you enough Dan ~ for finding us options available for fast delivery, your patience with all our ?s, knowledge and ability to explain things in laymans terms (cause we have different super powers)! Weve been ApplianceLand customers since moving to Rockville in 1997 and staffs always knowledgable, truly customer service oriented, NO sales pitches, etc. Recently purchased new kitchen appliances and Dan was so incredible to work with my anxiety dissipated and I was smiling during and afterward! Appliances always go up fast and force (big) spending money but our purchases here have amazingly always lasted 14 or more years and prices cant be beat! ApplianceLand, you better do whatever it takes to keep Dan in your employ!

When our old oven died, our appliance guy recommended Appliance Land. He could not have made a better recommendation. Kuert got us a fantastic deal on a Kitchen Aid double oven and we couldnt be happier. Knowledgeable sales and expert installation that took only 1/2 hour. We were recommended to come to Applianceland by our friends who had a good buying experience here.Dan helped us pick our a washer and dryer since our old dryer had ceased to work. The buying experience was very good - and Dan and other team members provided us with good insight on the range of products available in the store.We set on a delivery/ installation date, which they did miss. But someone from the store called us the day before to let us know and setup a time for the next day. The second time, they were promptly on time and did the setup in short order.They even did a good job testing out the washer and dryer and took away the old units.I would definitely recommend this store when you are in the market for appliances.

Bill Walden is your go to man! My wife and I are building a kitchen in the basement. I happened to work near by, so we stopped at ApplianceLand first. Bill greeted us very friendily and gave us some quick and easy advice. Bill gave us no pressure and answered all of our questions.We later stopped by the place across the street. The sales person spent the first 15 minutes explaining why we should buy them them or this mr. something something is the owner, blah blah blah.... He definetly talked us out of shopping there.Anyway We ordered our Appliances with Bill and then later set up a delivery date. Unfortunetly I was working out at my grm for too long. Missed the delivery. Bill Originally told me I was not goanna be able to get it again in 3 days. I had explained to Bill that my contractors would charge me extra....Bill said he will see what he could do. Few minutes later...Bam! Bill got me next day delivery.I will shop here in the future and refer my friends to here. They are professionals and make it easy for you.

EXCELLENT! called late afternoon to order a new washer and dryer. An urgent need since I have teens with tons of dirty clothing. Could not have a better experience! I bought speedqueen washer and dryer. The machines fit perfectly into my limited space (as the salesperson promised), the delivery was efficient and quick, the delivery people were super nice and professional. Thank you Applianceland!

My wife purchased a washer from the Appliance Land in Rockville, when the delivery came, they did not wear footies, and they require us to protect the floor. They told me that they had to use the hand truck ( a dolly ) to roll the washer upstairs. We told them it was their responsibility to protect the floors. They disagreed. Ok, we offered them the blankets to protect the floors, then they did not want to do the job anymore!They did not show any positive attitude trying to get the job done. They called the owner of Appliance Land, and said the owner agreed with them not to do the job, until a better and dryer day. My wife and I both work and we took that day off just for getting the delivery, and this was their attitude! Very disappointed. We purchased appliance from them before, and we will NEVER purchase anything from this store ever again!On the contrary, we ordered the same appliance from Home Depot. The delivery was very pleasant. With 15 minutes, the job was done. They hooked up and tested the machine for us. We were very happy. It turned out going with Home Depot, not only we received a better delivery service, we saved almost $200 for the same model!

Great people to work with

At their salesmans suggestion, I replaced a 3 year old Whirlpool Cabrio washer whose transmission had gone bad, with a new model Cabrio. The salesman had assured me that Whirlpool had corrected the design flaws that caused the first one to need significant repair.. 2 years later I am looking at a second $600 repair bill for another bad Whirlpool transmission. I called Applianceland and was told that they will offer me no relief, after having spent thousands of dollars on appliances with them, but that I had to deal with Whirlpool. I will not shop with them again.

Terrible experience - would not recommend. My wife was told by a friend that they loved their KitchenAid refrigerator that they had bought at Appliance Land. Wife wanted a newer french door model. We read some reviews about the model she picked out in the store with some complaints about the model being objectionably noisy; we asked the salesman about that and he reassured us that there was no problem. Once we got the refrigerator it seemed noisy - we called and were told each refrigerator was different and it was a matter of getting used to. A month went by and we couldnt stand the noise. We called and were told to have a service call with Kitchenaide. They came out and said everything was working but that they couldnt do anything about the noise. Finally we asked for a new refrigerator. We were told by ApplianceLand that they didnt take refrigerators back once they had had food in them!!! They said they would talk to KitchenAid about it - KitchenAid said as long as it was working they would not honor an exchange. Sometimes the noise sounds like I am at the airport with a plane getting ready for takeoff. Yes it works but our older model of twenty five years that we upgraded from was totally quiet as are the models our friends have. This has really soured us on ApplainceLand and KitchenAid. I cant think of a more customer unfriendly operation. Would never recommend ApplianceLand nor a KitchenAid refrigerator
