When I was finally able to find someone to help me, the service was great. Value is good, too. Overall, nice place to shop. Just dont get distracted by all the beautiful huge TVs!
Most of the store is empty shelves. They have music playing that is really inappropriate. My wife was getting upset over the lyrics including blatant cursing. Highly bad look for a family retail store. The staff were nonexistent, but the one I did wonder by had a short line and seemed flustered and unprofessional. I even wondered by a pallet with palletjack they left out. This place is not a good look for bestbuy. Would not recommend. Edit: the store is also dusty. The powerstrips are overpriced. There did not seem to be a selection of reasonably priced ones, just the ones pictured.
Best Buy delivered a broken TV to me and refuses to replace it. I dont know where to turn. I called Customer Service (3 hours) and Sony (45min). They said I missed the 14 day window for a replacement and my Geek Squad warrantee wont coven broken on delivery.

The store is very clean and had a very open layout the bathrooms were clean and properly stocked. I was asked by multiple employees if I needed help finding anything which was reassuring.Check out was quick.
The employees here are way too aggressive about the Best Buy card. Second time Ive had to call one of them out for this. Quick purchase at the register and he goes alright what Im gonna do is give you a best buy card to get you 10% off this... Let me get your ID ..uh, nah brah. Im gonna use it, if anything, on my next tv or laptop and not to get a couple cents off a $10 purchase, and btw, would appreciate if you asked.Ive worked in similar retail chains and know what this is all about. To be clear, it is (mostly) Best Buy at fault.
Came to this place to add A-line to my AT&T phone plan and I was having A little bit of issue with the associate and what the policy was of taking a phone out from Best Buy and adding it to AT&T line and tea line a little bit more difficult than just doing it online which I ended up achieving being able to take out a phone without having my credit build for the Max pro 12.But thank you very much for the help that you guys gave us that day no complaints no complaints Gray customer service everybody was very friendly very nice speak to line was pretty swift it was somewhat internal besides the fact that I didnt have my ID as well to run my credit but I was still a little bit confused as to why my credit had to be pulled if I already had an account all I needed was just to add A-line and a phone Im not sure if thats where the complication was.No worries thank you guys very much for all the help and you guys have a beautiful absence and thank you so much once again
This store location seems to have endured well amidst the pandemic. The shelves were 50-69% stocked on average, if I had to guess. I was able to locate what I came for; however, it was the very last one on the shelf. I felt the store was fairly sanitary and that the service staff were cordial and pleasant to deal with. It was not very crowded or busy during my visit. Shopping conditions and experience may differ during high customer volume, so keep this in-mind when shopping in the future.
Nice store, have now been waiting 40 minutes for someone to help me with a laptop purchase. Have been told several times it would be a few minutes. I am still waiting. I wouldnt recommend coming here for speed.
I felt the service was pretty straightforward. There wasnt too many people on hand it felt like that made the store seem busy but, when you were waited on, it was fast and effective and thorough. 👌
My phone broke and I needed another one asap. While looking through the shelves, Jessi offered to help me. I was able to pick up a nice Motorola which was reasonable priced. He changed over the sim card, made sure my internet and calling functions were working and answered all my questions. His management style also shows that he looks after his staff, very patient and customer oriented. Thank you.

In store customer service is terrible and lazy representatives. This is the third time I face this. After waiting around an hour, ordered it online and got the products in 15 minutes. Best buy need to give special training to the representatives or hire new employees.
Not to be misunderstood... the two star rating is just due to the lake of service by the employees at this Best Buy. I was waiting in the curbside pickup #1 space and used the app to notify the store I was there; but I never saw anyone (with best buy uniform) come out and even check. By the way I had arrived around 11 or 11:26ish. My purchase was not confirmed until 12:13pm (9/13/21)via email.I had to go inside to pick up my product... ...the main reason why I am writing this review is mainly due to the employee that assisted me once inside the store. She had the oddasity to tell me she had just been outside and not see anyone waiting. This really annoyed me; so I did inform her I had been outside waiting for 30 plus minutes (giving her the benefit of any doubt).

Lost a star because Best Buy had signs up for clearance models that they didnt actually have, and because it took a while to get help, even though the store was not busy.On the positive side, they had lots of TVs on display, and the salesperson didnt argue when I said I didnt want a protection plan.

I had a wonderful experience at this location of Best Buy on Rockville Pike. I was out to buy my first large, high quality tv. I arrived knowing very little about TVs, and left very knowledgeable and even had a few laughs in the process. The person who helped me was sales manager Jessie Bentley. Very nice, honest, competent professional. Definitely go see Jessie for your next TV or other device!
Went in preparded to buy a television. The TV area was very disorganized. We wandered around for 10 minutes trying to find the brand and size we were interested in. Signage was poor and difficult to find adequate info about TV. We never saw a sales person so we left and purchased a TV from a nearby store.
I made an appointment through Apple website to replace my iPhone’s battery and the Best buy was one the choices . When I showed up for my appointment, the associate at Geek Squad, was not sure what to say and he told me, there no apple specialist available and we don’t have any battery in stock to fix your phone !!! And I asked him what should I do and he was frozen with no word and I left the place … Are you serious Apple ?

Came in today with some really complicated questions about camera equipment and lenses. I was extremely impressed with Jessie and his knowledge about photography. Last week, I went to Best Buy hoping to find the right laptop. Jawad helped me select and purchase a laptop within 30 minutes. He was very accommodating.Geek Squad: After purchasing the laptop, I had data transferred from my old laptop. Elda setup the programs on my new laptop and was very patient and helpful. This is my go-to Best Buy in the DMW area. The service is bar none and they don’t harass you to purchase electronics you don’t need.

Best buy in general has good products, but on this occasion, the Geek Squad service was terrible, dissuaded me from buying and installing the rear camera on the car that we had selected and suggested another at 3 times the price, because he said the first one wouldnt fit. Upon further research after leaving found the opposite, the first one was the one that fit not the one this tech was pushing!

By far the worst experience I’ve encountered at a retail store. Me and my wife were in the market for a security camera system and Sonos sound bar. We were waiting for someone to help us out for like 20 mins. My wife asked the security guy in the front by the door (kinda big black guy) for help he said “I don’t know, look for someone” we were shocked at the response. After finally finding someone, the mobile department gal just pointed us to customer service to get the camera. The Indian dude from home theater checked us out and for some reason chose the standard interest option for us instead of the 12 month interest free option without consulting with us. He made it seem like it was our fault to his manager. They voided the transaction and we left to the Wheaton location. Never going back to this location. Everybody shops online nowadays. The only thing that separates retail locations to online shopping is customer service and this location is lacking in that.
Overall great experience.I’ve been having several issues with my car remote start and needed immediate help.The service techs (Luke and I forgot the other guy’s name) very nice, communicative and seemed knowledgeable about the issues at hand. This was the second BestBuy location I had taken my car to so I was hoping that someone would be able to fix the issue as my patience and confidence grew thin.I’m only docking a star because it’s so hard to get in touch with an employee by phone at any of the BestBuy store locations. You’re on hold for a long time and then ultimately routed to a call center. Many times you don’t even get a call back. I understand that they probably get a high call volume but it would also be nice to talk to get a call back at least.
The consumer engagement was very good, sound expertise rendered. Very prompt residential service delivery, and short turnaround for receipt of product. The sound expertise was on point, the product matched perfectly with need.
Magnolia did an excellent job updating our home theater but have not upgraded the screen yet as the wrong one was ordered. Requests for home network and whole home audio upgrade too have been ignored despite several visits and emails.
I felt the store manager is horrible and does not understand customer service, is not polite and is unprofessional.I purchased an item and I was told the store policy is 30 days for return and the salesperson particularly mentioned same. I came within 30 days and he said you own it as my return policy is 14 days. He denied to listen and when I told his employee told me he still kept on saying he cannot rerun the item. I told him it was useless to me as it didnt work and is not compatible, and I was told by the store person you should give it a try and return within 30 days if it does not work. It was completely unused item.Horrible service. I told him this is was my last visit in Best Buy and will keep on shopping at amazon where I get good customer service. It didn’t matter to him.

I just step out of best buy 2 minutes ago, very rude cashier ask me bunch of personal questions. i told him politely that i dont need to give any personal information for purchasing a headset, do he asked me how fo i pay, i said visa card, he said i want see it, i said why, he said he wants to make sure its not stollen!! I asked to talk to superviser, he brought a door keeper, they refused to let me talk to their supervisor. I left respectfully as i was rush 1 star for this store is already too much. Never coming back.

It is good for everything besides the magnolia home theater. You need to have someone escort you around at all tines un the speakers section and it is super annoying .
So, as a software professional, I always turned my nose up at the Geek Squad. However I had some old hard drives and the hardware I had at hand was unable to read them. My family member had a year long membership to geek squad which only cost a couple hundred. They pulled the data off of 5 drives and were really helpful. I was impressed actually.
Online order pickup times need to be kept - my order guaranteed pickup within an hour, but they couldnt find it and told me to come back the next day since the store was closing. I persisted and had my item brought after another half an hour. Customer service must live up to customer satisfaction.

The visit was super quick, we were in and out in under 15 minutes. The staff was super helpful and immediately helped us out and saved us money.
...so we waited at the checkout section which was completely empty. It was just the two of us and as obvious as that was, still noone cared to assist. A merchandise employee walked right infront of us(behind the checkout registers) and not even a side eye did we witness. I looked over my shoulder and sure enough another associate(socializing with security) acknowledged us but did nothing until I approached them. As we walked back to checkout I made it very clear how ignorant and unprofessional that merchandise employee acted. The associate informed us that he was just a merchandise employee. However, he immediately added that his actions were unacceptable. Regardless of his position, he shouldve still asked if you needed assistance... he told us. This associate made it clear to another associate that the merchandise employee needed to be spoken to. That was highly appreciated. Thank you for that!! Was that reprimand granted on our behalf? who knows!!!
Great place to buy a new computer, appliance, television or just the latest steelbook blu-ray.This is my favorite Best Buy in the area. It was my store since the 90s then I divided my time when the Tenleytown store opened. Tenleytown closed 3 years ago and Rockville is back as my main Best Buy. Id been away for a year with the pandemic but it was great to be back recently.
Its pandemic and like a sensible person I tried not to go to store but get my issue answered by calling Rockville store. The automated system keeps you on wait list indefinitely. Finally had to go to the store, reps were roaming around but no one had the time to answer customer calls. Best Buy need to step up their game in these times. B&M stores have very few reasons to be around, with such service you BB wont be around in next 5-7 years.The Auto installation guys were helpful and did a great job.

TVs on display dont match the ones in stock. Theres very little help and none available to me. I was unable to ask the questions I wanted to ask, to find needed information - even to physically find stuff in the store. I was on my own. I got what I thought I wanted, but its more basic than Id hoped (altho the price was good).Their selection of non-humongous TVs was extremely limited and seemed to include only their Insignia house brand, which Ive had and found lacking for the past few years. I found a small Visio TV and compact soundbar and they work, but the small TV has no Bluetooth and is basic HD.If you want to shop without interruption, this is the place for you. If you want to ask questions about the merch, however, forget it. Theres three people in the whole store servicing three customers at a time while dozens wait or shop...Not a positive experience.
Customer service at this store is horrible especially with major appliances. I had serious problems with a home delivery, where workmen brought the wrong refrigerator model and also damaged my home in the process of moving the refrigerator into my kitchen. When I reported this all to the store they could have cared less. A customer service rep then called to ask how the delivery went but she was from a totally different department and didnt know about my previous complaint. When I told her about the wrong model and home damage she didnt care either and was acting as if she expected me to say everything was fine and then she just hung up. On top of it all, Best Buy messed up the financing, charged nearly $2500 to a credit card when I was supposed to have monthly financing at around $100 a month for this appliance.
Good service. The sales associate helped me pick out exactly the type of phone that I needed. The phone could not be connected in store due to my service plan. That is my only complaint. I still had to go to the carriers store to activate the phone. Otherwise, the associate was great. He explained the features of the phone very well.

I have been to this best buy more times than I can count for store pickup, curbside pickup and in store shopping during covid-19 and I have had a great experience everytime, except twice. Once when I wanted to purchase a phone in store but I never received the text that someone was available to assist(covid procedure at the time of attempt); I left and ordered online for curbside pickup the next day. And once more when the associate I spoke with was seemingly too busy to assist with finding an item that online said was in stock at the store but I couldnt locate. He was not in a mood to help, so I left and ordered it from Amazon. 85% great customer service.

Had a HORRIBLE experience at this location. Customer service was horrible when trying to do a return/exchange. The manager, Yamile is probably one of the rudest, unpleasant and unprofessional associates I’ve ever encountered in retail. She responded to my questions with her arms folded and just very nasty. Not sure how the rest of their management staff is set but she was a poor representation of the store as a whole and their leadership. Will never shop at this location again
This had been my go to Best Buy in the area because of the service and organization. Hopefully yesterday was an anomaly, but my experience was just not the same. I was having trouble finding the item I came for and approached two employees in separate interactions. The first simply ignored me as I asked if he could help me, the second physically pushed past me in the aisle while ignoring me. Not exactly social distancing, but rude in every case. A third employee finally approached after I made my way across the store, so maybe the lesson is to find an older employee and avoid the teenagers.

Worst buy. we bought a floor model and my partner didnt check the dents on the side. and they barely gave us any discount. so all and all we were happy to get a good deal, yet to find out when picking up its missing screws and parts. when i asked to talk to floor manager called fahiem completely irresponsible and careless and lacked any professionalism. he is like yeah i know its missing screws what you want me to do about it. perhaps give me missing screws. he is like i dont have it take it or leave it. i would never give them any business...
I wanted to return something and one of the best buy workers refused to return my item because it was open. And then I asked the worker for proof that I cant return it. And then she just gave me an attitude and helped another customer when I was ready. I am never going back to this store again. Poor customer service.
We recently spent a good bit of money at this location and spent 3 trips. The customer service rep was awesome! We had to order warranties and she took the extra step to print out confirmations and itemizations of them. Despite wearing a mask, you could tell she was in a good mood by her eye contact. Professional and knowledgeable and FAST. Didn’t catch her name but she had red, wavy hair and a great manicure. This store has don’t a great job of practicing social distancing and associates are on top of their game. 5 stars for sure! We will be back for more.

BestBuy, for the longest time has been and still is my go to place for electronics and I blame the pandemic for the low star review... I understand employees are being cautious but went in to check out some videos games (looking for Rockband bundle), then walked around the TV section (looking for a TV for the basement) and then to the sound system section(upgrade my home theater system), and then walked around the phones section to make my way out of the store and NO ONE SAID anything to me. This was around 3 in the afternoon. Disappointing...
Its still the electronic place to go and spaced out enough to feel safe.

Went searching for a iPhone case for a birthday gift for family. It was okay but Microcenter had a better selection for my needs today.
Excellent return policy - most other places arent allowing you to return headphones, oculus, and other devices that have hard to sanitize components, but best buy does allow you to return them. Great place to try headphones, keyboards, tvs, and monitors before you buy them. I like how much of what they have is on display, its why I come here to see what Ive researched before I buy. Obviously, always check Amazon for a better price before you buy (although, now days amazon is the bigger devil than these big box stores 🤣). Sometimes, a company like this will take advantage of the convenience they are providing (instant gratification) but common... Delivery online does not take as long as it used to.
Got there ask an employee for service, never got service. I wanted to know about a laptop just wanted to see if they had it in stock thats all. Waited for good 20 minutes and nothing, I decided just to walk out. Thats why all in store shopping will go out of business for this type of service these stores have.
Excellent customer service! Went straight to the Apple products, asked a gentleman to help me find what I didn’t know I needed. Started with MacBooks and within a few questions we found that the iPad would fit best for my field. I was taught the value differences between each model and found the PERFECT fit!
