Central location. Handicap access. Bus access. They always have a good varied selection. Good staff, but could use help. The surrounding shops offer many goods/services.

I enjoyed their seasonal selection and arts and crafts section. It was very busy and not a lot of space to social distance with the crowd but then again it was on a weekend.

It is very limited and needs a greater variety. Its not like other Dollar Trees. Please add more items.

Store is really small. They needed another cashier going. Although they put a lot of product in a tiny box. Bravo.

This store is located in the heart of Rockville & easy to access from 355, East Jefferson Street. You can find almost all basic things from here. On Saturdays/Sundays you will find parking spaces mostly full.

I was not sure it was open but it look rundown from outside. Once in could see they have limited items which was surprisingly. The staff friendly and helpful.

Typical Dollar Tree. Never seem to restock items. Never seem to have much on shelves and when ask employees for assistance, they dont know where anything is. Usual response is were out of it now Frustrating.

Like other reviewers have said, this store looks like it was hit by a tornado. There arent enough employees to clean things up and the customers arent exactly helping the situation. The employees are friendly despite the craziness. I was here for binder rings (aka book rings), only place I could find them! Bravo for that!

Its great little store. I just walked in to explore and ended up finding small note book, earbuds, hear clips, nice size peanut m&ms dollar each. I liked it.

The place is dark and worn down and every time I go here, I feel unsafe and someone cuts me on line, which personally drives me insane. Im not sure why the people are so rude at this particular store and the staff could care less.

Jefferson St location always seems to have only ONE cashier and long long lines. Today only after several folks loudly complained did the manager open a 2nd lane. Store is always a mess. Only go there when cant make it to another store.

They struggle through adversity right in front my eyes. The manager no where in site his workers pushed on as if he was none the less. The line built up quickly cause all the traffic from the one up the road was swamped. Nonetheless they worked the customers through nicely 👌 In fact I last seen the manager placing 6 markers down out front. For COVIC social distancing. Great job Rockville highest standard of quality once again!Gotta move out here!

I love going to this Dollar Tree because most of the items are very cheap. Beside tax, the store is quite big, but not that big.

I understand the end of one year and beginning of another can be tough in retail. So that can explain the disarray on the shelves and in the aisles. However the dead bugs in the refrigerators is not something I can understand. Nor is the poor customer service something that can be looked over. Even if everything in the store is great. Poor customer service can ruin a business. Ive worked retail off and on for at least 20 years. So I will say this to all who except a position working with people. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and do not except a job where you will be working with people. I understand having a bad day as a person. But once you step out onto the work floor you need to fix your attitude to one that you would want to encounter when you go into an establishment to give them your business.I also know that customers can and will give you attitude. But not everyone is the same customer that gave you a hard time. Also remember that you do not know who is walking into your workplace that is a Mystery Shopper! Even if they tell you that one is coming in you cant guarantee that what youre being told is completely accurate. Yes, I have worked as a Mystery Shopper as well. I just dont review them online if Ive done a contracted shop for that business. Youre welcome in advance! 😉

Nice that everything really is only $1. Lots of items there. Went in for Holiday gift bags and found exactly what I wanted. Crowded but lines moved quickly.

I was on the line waiting to check out the person in front of me her card was declined,cashier called Manager Malou and explained what just had happened,she looked at the custumer and pay her stuff with her own money.She is very kind,helpful very good custumer service.God bless you Malou Dollar Tree Federal Plaza very good.

Only been here 2x since moving to MoCo a few months ago and each time this place looks like the apocalypse hit it. Plus the cashiers are disorganized and slow moving. Each time the line has been wrapped around in some random way and you are literally stepping over items. I am pretty sure I saw a mouse this last time. Hands down the worst and most unsanitary looking Dollar Tree Ive ever seen. Yeah, its a no go for me!

The employees are not helpful and the customer service is lacking. I had an order to pick up when I arrived at the store the employee didn’t even look for the order told me to come back. When I came back a few days later my order was nowhere to be found. Stood there for almost 20mins just to be told if I could find it in the store I could take it. No direction and no apology. This is why I won’t be shopping at this location again.

Solar walkway lamps a buck each. I have gotten 2 and three years use of the previous ones I have purchased. Some even stay light throughout the night, depending on how much sun they get the day before. Adding more and removing the innopporative ones. You cannot beat the price.Checkout is slow and they are typically understaffed but thats what you get for the price.

Could be cleaner and more organized but a great value and a great deal on pet things, food and cleaning supplies! Lots of decorations for a Dollar!! Love it

The store doesnt have most things that a dollar store should carry. I couldnt find tea and I couldnt find a power extension cord. They had camomile tea, but not regular black tea.

Junky, trashy and run very poorly. Empty refrigerators, merchandise on the floor and just a generally chaotic feeling. The management is really dropping the ball on this one. Ive seen much better Dollar Tree store.

Ive seen the store has roaches and the fridges in the soda area up front are overly iced and disgusting with sugar...means it broke and ice cream melted and they just turned it on. Gross gross store. No one cares there.

Like every other Dollar Tree store I have been in this store is a bit run down. This Dollar Tree is fully functional and you will likely find what your looking for as this store has a very large inventory. Overall given the type of store that it is this Dollar Tree is right on the middle.

This place is OK for the Price & Selections....NOT OK on the Cleanliness or Organization!!! I havent physically been in here for years but when I did get the chance to go inside, here is what I saw:The Aisles were narrow. The Food Section has expanded greatly. There was a shortage of Cashiers. There were A HUGE VARIETY of goods to choose from!!!In the last aisle with the refrigerated items, their were cracked eggs all over the floor which was not a great sight. Also, when we did get to the Cash Register, it ran outbof Tape on the woman in front of me & consequently BROKE DOWN!!! We had to wait about 5 minutes while the Manager Ryan helped the seemingly new Cashier Re-Boot the machine. But all was forgiven when the stuff that I was expecting to pay around $30 for came out to around $13!!! Great Bargain!!!!Hope they can get the Operating of the Store better because this plave has serious potential!!!

What a messy dump! Imagine a hurricane and tornado, then the mess,sums it up.manager should be fired!I know this isnt Saks but products all thrown around and on the floor. Other dollar trees look cleaner and some organization!avoid!!!

Good selection of items. LONG lines and needs more cashiers. I had 3 items and went to a cashier named Rabi whom appeared to be opening a register soon. I POLITELY asked him if he was opeing his register. He told me no. I went to 1 of the 2 other LONG lines. I had not turned my back for 60 seconds before Rabi suddenly had a line full of customers. When I asked him for the managers name, he said he didnt know. When I called to speak to the assistant manager (an indian woman?)5 minutes later, she said she would talk to him about it, but she refused to give up the managers name. I wasnt going to make a big deal out of it, I just wanted to find out why Rabi did what he did. Their behavior was STRANGE.

Pretty much everything you get here is a good value, but be wise to compare to bulk prices or sales of larger items at other stores. Products are generally good quality.

Normally, I really love Dollar Tree! Its a great dollar-store chain, and Ive been to many great locations. This one, however, is pretty sub-par. The aisles are very narrow (one cart blocks most of the way), theres often boxes or merchandise blocking the way, and theres always a really long line to check out! I dont mind waiting a little while, but its gotten to the point that Im wary of dropping in if I dont have plenty of extra time.Note to parents with small children: You can get a stroller in here, but its really tight (double stroller is out of the question). They have carts, but you cant take them out of the store. We usually go in a stroller, but it can be a little chaotic and I dont look forward to it!

I must say that this location has the most and best variety of merchandize here causing a customer like me $100 when I only intended to buy a few items on my list lol

Always great stuff, there pregnancy tests are very trust worthy too, work just as good as the expensive ones, they got cheap name brand items from food to other products, if you want to save money defenitly go here!!!!

The day to day shopping differs . You can still find what need. You might have to choose a different brand but. They will have want You NEED and WANT.

The best of the dollar stores in the area, (NYC Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn excepted). Food, including cold foods and freezer items, are mostly the cheapest around. Chek out the salad dressings and toilet paper ($0.25 a roll, 2-3 or even 4 times the cost of supermarket brands), a $1 pocket knife (mostly useless, but with a great blade when sharpened), golves, watch caps, frozen fish, dog food ($0.25 a can), 6-packs of soda (no, you cannot tell the difference), and so on. We shop there before the market and make out like bandits. Check it out. Next to the computer store and close to Trader Joes.

Went in and bought 16 champagne glasses only to find they had no paper to wrap them up or offer to wrap in plastic. I asked for extra brown paper bags instead and then was charged for those! But I guess it is the Dollar Tree.
