They had what I was looking for and the three employees I interacted with were so nice and helpful. This extended to the community as well. I purchased a cargo carrier that needed assembly. Immediately, I had two gentlemen jump in there and helped put it together. So nice to have this happen so far from home. From OKC, headed to Michigan.

Have just started coming here a few months ago. For the most part, its been a very pleasant experience. They had .22 lr for $6 cheaper than Wal-Mart. Exactly the same box of 300.

A little sale hunting wont leave you disappointed here. Treasure is to be found...20$ heavy duty work boots & 4$ folding quad chairs (YES adult sizes-up to 255 lbs! Not the teeny tiny cheapo ones!) at Academy Sports are just too nice to pass up!!

Every time I’ve been to Academy it’s been so clean, organized, and well stocked! Super easy to find exactly what I need at really good prices! The associates are generally really friendly, helpful, and will take the time to make sure you have the items or information you need quickly! Definitely going to continue shopping here!

Its a clean store and it has very nice people working there. Ive learned that you can get a better deal in the store than you can online. The veteran discount is appreciated too.

We went into the store looking for a disc golf bag. We looked online before and the website said the one my husband wanted was available in stores. We could not find the bag anywhere! We looked and looked. Finally we pasted a worker Mr. Chuck. We asked him if he could help us. He looked up the bag and went to where is was suppose to be. He also could not find it, but he didnt give up his search. He searched until he found it for us. We was really nice and I appreciate his help. We were a little disappointed in the disc selection but thats okay. :)

Like this place but us fat guys need a 3x they only carry 2x from what I could see would recommend worth a stop either way.

We love this store! But some of the new employees are a little weird and told us we should buy what we came to buy from there. But usually our experience is good so I don’t want to give a low rating.

Stopped in to pick up some power pack puddin. On the way into the store a homeless man asked If I had spare change. I said, I dont have any, so he gave me some. Now I have spare change and power pack pudding,and thats a good thing. Overall a very good shopping experience.

Very rude to us on the phone and in person. The workers made up a story saying we had already bought ammo that day. When in fact it was my older brother. Then they said that there was no ammo in the morning when there was. Probably mad that we were getting a couple of boxes before their buddies could get there and buy them out. Unacceptable but this is becoming a trend with Academy.

Its a great store if youre looking for a clothes and shoes its like they lost touch because they keep very little fishing and hunting supplies around

Awesome place my son feet hurt him at work and he bought these shoes at academy for $125 and wore them for 2 weeks and his feet still hurt and academy took them back after her wore them for 2 weeks to work wasnt that cool of academy ! Their prices are a little high but yes Id go back and shop!

Was in today for the first time and it was really nice. Alot of sales and I was able to get a new pair of winter boots. Associates are nice and friendly. Was a good experience.

Paid for a an item online, recieved a confirmation, and they charged my credit card. When I went in to pick the item up they sold it to someone else. Manager said i was out of luck. Terrible customer service with a flawed system.

Went there to buy mantals for my coleman lantern and found they had an ampal supply of the tie on at reasonable price, also have a good camping trip supply in stock and on the shelf.

Ive shopped at Academy Sports all around the country but this location consistently stands out as having top notch customer service. From being greeted with a smile upon entering, to the super helpful warm staff if you have questions its always a good shopping experience. Thanks Academy employees for the hard work and great attitudes.

No mandate on masks for customers. But at least all the sales associates that I saw were wearing masks. But if stores take the well-being and lives of people seriously they strictly demand masks of everybody entering the store.

The store in general is easy to find and has a large facility. I was able to find almost everything I needed. If they had a bigger camping area, I would’ve bought even more.I can’t say much of the staff because I didn’t see anyone other than the cashier but luckily I didn’t need any help.I think it was very well organized and prices were clearly marked (a big deal for me).I buy everything online. Like, EVERYTHING. And everything I buy online, I buy from that one place, I’ll give you a hint, starts with an A. Most of the time when I’m in a store, I’ll compare prices and most of the time, my online source is cheaper. Today I was shocked at the number of things that were cheaper here at Academy. Lighters, flashlights, coolers, chairs, tents. Seemed like everything on my camping list was cheaper here. Not always a huge difference in price. For some items it was only a difference of about a dollar or two but every little bit counts. Bravo Academy for not price gouging because I walked out of here spending over $300 today instead of spending it online at that one place. Keep up the low prices and I’ll keep coming back.

Ammo was non-existent, unless you want 22s or shot gun shells. Considering most ammo is difficult to find anywhere, cant fault Academy. Everything else in the store was well stocked.

Love Academy Sports!! Just dont like the fact that they have 12 registers and only use 2 or 3 cashiers. Every time I go there its like that.. Fifteen ppl waiting in line.

Lots of neat stuff here, some of it is priced to high but Im sure that has to do with the brand names. Bought some nice walking shoes (Brooks) from here. Poor selection of wrist braces unfortunately.

Nice items good brands but prices still rather High. Store was very welcoming when you come in the doors and it is laid out nicely the very large store was greatly impressed with that as well but for the prices in there well its nice place to shop if you can afford it! Okay were going I mean $45 for a childs pair of shoes that they are only going to wear for two or three months before their foot grows again is too much money to spend.

Not enough sales associates. I was goingbto buy a rifle, but not waiting for the 2 associates to sell weapons to the 5 people already in line. If you have a line if people wanting to buy, PUT MORE ASSOCIATES in the area!

I looked everywhere for sun blocking gear for a float trip. If course Academy had exactly what I was looking for and even had some on sale. If you like the outdoors, youll love this place. You can get everything you need and more at a reasonable price. My family always find more than what we were looking for when we visit.

The people here really know their stuff. My aunt and I went there looking for exercise equipment and I was impressed with what they had. The guy that helped us, I think his name was Russ, took us through all the equipment and even made personal recommendations. This is certainly a place I will come back to if I need anything further.

Cant use fitting rooms, absolutely no bikes or exercise equipment, store is a joke! If this is somehow related to covid then that is what they should tell us instead of when the next truck will be in!! When the truck comes in, there still are none of the aforementioned items delivered...

Really good service and friendly clerks. The store was well stocked. I really didnt care for the maze we had to walk through to get to the register. It was literally from one end of the front to the other and took up about half the front end. It took a lot of the fun out of shopping there. The line/maze was like a final attempt to squeeze more $$$ out of you by showing you junk you didnt really need or would spend the rest of the time in line being nagged about by your kids (all ages included.)

Prices were great! Something for everyone! I bought a backpack on clearance and it didnt ring up at the register. My husband paid and when I saw the receipt I went back in and they were closing. Alexis was AMAZING and helpful without making me feel bad that I was keeping her late!!! She fixed the discount and walked me out while talking about her experience working there and she really seems to love her job. Much appreciated!
