My boyfriend came here yesterday for the minute clinic and they tested him for covid and he tested positive so I made an appointment here because I’ve been feeling sick and when I told them I was here because my boyfriend tested positive and I’ve been feeling sick they told me they don’t do testing here and just walked off in the middle of me still talking. Very rude and lied to my face. The pharmacy and the rest of the store is great. Wouldn’t recommend the minute clinic though!
I have been using this CVS for years but as of today will NEVER use them again just on principle....I wanted to purchase an item in store and the price tag was $38.99 but online it shows the same item at $29.99..... they refused to honor the online price which is ridiculous! Any reputable business would honor an online price match. If you can sell online for a price you should be able to do the same in store.NEVER USING CVS again. Walgreens can have all of my familys business. I will not rest until the world knows about these crooks!!!
If you are going to get your booster shot for Covid, I suggest you take your business to Walgreens. I made an appt for my shot on line for 12:45 today, which was their first opening for today. I arrived at the store at the appropriate time only to be told that I did not have an appt. Ok, could I have made a mistake? Absolutely, but as there were no customers waiting in the area and they had an opening for that time, I asked if I could still get it and was promptly told it had to be done on line. I said could i just make the appt. while I was there and again was told point blank with an edge to her voice and no further explanation that it has to be done on line. At that point I left the store and made an appt with Walgreens across the street. And we wonder why people are hesitant to get the vaccine. I also will be moving my existing prescriptions back to Walgreens.
Horrible and rude customer service in Pharmacy!!!The team needs to understand that they are in customer service industry. Dont waist your time her. CVS target is a more pleasant experience.
Ginger Lot I believe is her name at the pharmacy refused the booster vaccine even though I specially said I’m traveling to Middle East a night risk area, staff here are extremely insensitive and rude, if you have any sort of need they not only accommodate but try to fight you. It’s a SHAME to have people like them at a pivotal time like this that people like me are afraid for their health and their family’s well being. I suggest CVS look into having people like her in healthcare.
Covid testing is definitely not rapid.
As someone who used to work in customer service, the pharmarcy staff was atrocious.I went in for a covid test. I just travelled from New York back home for Mothers Day, and both of my parents are high risk. I promised them I would get a covid test when I got in town. I scheduled a covid test with Minute Clinic.I get there 15 minutes early, with an ID and confirmation number for my appointment. No one is in the Minute Clinic, so I have to wander and find someone to assist me. Finally someone tells me they do not do covid testing INSIDE the clinic, and I have to go outside to get tested. So I go outside to get tested. I (politely) knock on the door of the mobile testing area since becauase once again, no one is around. A rude, frumpy elderly women comes out of the door and proceeds to tell me that I do NOT have an appointment. I explain to her that I do... I show her my text messages, my paper I printed out, my confirmation code, and my identification. She says she has already seen someone who said they had my appointment time, and tells me I cant get tested unless I have an appointment and becomes very abbrassive and begins rolling her eyes at me, and my mother. Instead of trying to help us, she becomes argumentative and crawls back into her gingerbread house. We go back inside to try to talk to someone who will at the least point us in the right direction rather than trying to get us out of their hair.We go back into the store and ask if they do covid testing... again. We end up going to the Minute Clinic again... the person who helped us has left. I decide to just sign in at the front, so that no one can say I was late and missed my appointment. A female doctor walks out of the room to the Minute Clinic, and asks me if I have an appointment. I say yes. I am in the middle of signing in with the kiosk, and she asks me what kind of test I want. I tell her I would like to know my test results today. She tells me that the Minute Clinic dosent offer rapid tests, although I know for a fact that others I know have came to this same clinic. I told her fine, I will get a standard test. Better than nothing. She goes back inside, and then comes out asks me why I want the covid test. I told her I have travelled recently, I am staying with family, and have been in a high risk area. She tells me that I CANNOT get a covid test for travelling, and that This is a CLINIC, points to the Minute Clinic, and says I have to actually be sick to come here. Dumbest advice Ive ever heard.1.Covid is an asymptomatic virus. You dont have to have symptoms to be infected, and that is how this stupid virus spreads. I would know, Ive had it before, and I dont wish it on anyone else. I now do biweekly covid tests back home in Brooklyn to make sure I am not unknowingly spreading Covid among my loved ones and coworkers since I work in education with small children. The CDC recommmends getting tested while doing risky activities, and in the past week I have flown from one high risk area to another.2.This is NOT the beginning of the pandemic when supplies and testing are low. I know better than that. Back home people are walking up to individuals in mobile testing sites on the street to ask if they want to get tested on the spot. Free Covid testing as a walk-in to most urgent care facilities is a normalcy. I could understand if this was May 2020 and testing supplies were limited, but they no longer are. If CVS in Rowlett refuses to invest time or resources in testing supplies, or hasnt updated their criteria for testing with national guidelines, then that is entirely their responsibility to change their policy.
CVS in Rowlett off of Rowlett Road is a very friendly pharmacy that does a great job asking me if I want to put my medications on auto-refill or by letting me know when my medications need authorization from my doctor for future refills and asking me if I want them to ask doctor from more refills for next time. They even let me know when a generic medication comes out for my current brand name medication in an effort to save me money which I greatly appreciate in these economic hard times! I would recommend CVS to anyone looking for a good pharmacy.
New cashiers are so rude and lack customer service. Sofia and Antonia thinking they own the store.
Never in my life will I fill an rx with this CVS. I am currently pregnant and have had morning sickness. I got an rx sent in a few days ago and I had to call after it had been sent in 2 hours ago and they said I could head that way because they were working on it. I dragged my nauseous self up there and still had to wait in the lobby another 15 minutes. Today I called my doctor for a different nausea medicine and the rx was sent in around 11:30am. I am writing this at 3:37pm and I still have no rx in hand and have been vomiting for 3 days. It should NEVER take that long to fill an rx. The CVS in Allen was amazing and would send me a text within 20 mins of them receiving it saying it’s ready. Unprofessional and lazy group of ppl.
Pharmacy is horrible!!!!! I’m actually upset that they accidentally sent it to CVS instead of Walgreens across the street, where they usually send it to. I just hope I never have to go back in there.
Please don’t get a vaccine here or at any CVS. Unfortunately, a pharmacist at this location incorrectly marked my arm while administering one, resulting in a SIRVA-related injury. I’ve experienced lasting effects for months. Also, I know it’s convenient, but it’s not part of your medical history if you experience a problem. Go to a medical facility.
Got my covid testing here. Fast.
Sad pharmacy staff.
Pharmacy is super organized and well ran.
The best group of pharmacist I have ever encountered. They are the best. They can answer your questions. BEST
I love this pharmacy. They have a good staff of pharmacists. The wait time is a bit long, but they have so many customers.
Pretty much the worst pharmacy Ive ever visited. Been here twice. Fist time I called in a refill at 9:00am stopped by after work at 5:00 to pick it up, they never filled it. Had to wait 30 minutes. Second time, dropped prescription off at the counter. Its been over an hour and Im still standing here waiting.
The pharmacy grupo is exelente! ! Great crew! Very nice and friendly. The manager of the store is the one who make me giving this place a 1 star he is very rude my kid was playing with the toys and try in to decided between two toys and he move one to the side to see the next toy and the manager came and put the other toy in front of the one my 5yr old want to see and said put it back were it was. Im like he is going to play with the next toy, and for this reason I didnt buy any toy in here and Im not buying anything in here ever again. I didnt get his name but is the male manager because the lady is a very nice person.
The customer service here is something else. All of the employees I encounter are so pleasant and so helpful! Thank you!
Not sure who made lacy the shift manager at this store but this kid was not helpful on a emergency I had to send money through money gram. Every answer she gave was I don’t know and did not want to help.
If you are ordering any kind of photos I DONT SUGGEST YOU COME HERE! I placed a special order for a Father’s Day gift and went to pick it up. Turns out their “system wasn’t working right” and the didn’t “receive the order”. As soon as I got there and told them my name they got the manager, knowing they didn’t get my order. THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE COMMON DECENCY TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME OR EMAIL ME. THEY WAITED UNTIL I GOT THERE TO TELL ME.
My family and I have been going to this CVS store for many years. The workers are both friendly and professional. My medication refills have always been available for pickup as promised and error free.
Been going here for 30 years.
The pharmacy is very good, nice, and pro-active when it comes to a persons health. they are very helpful if you should happen to have any strange rxs that need to be ordered, and they are very good in filling any rx within a timely manner..even if they are slammed with customers.i have been to other cvss and different pharmacies, and they normally treat you as a number and could care less aboot you or any of your individual information.this place has a good small town feel to it where they know your name and what not..even though they are not a small town pharmacy.in particular, michelle & ginger (& another woman whom i do not know her name.) are all extremely nice and very informative if you should happen to have any issues with a particular subject or insurance problem.*edit*also, after they get to know you and your regiment they are very good aboot knowing you and your family refill schedules (ie, if you should happen to get your rxs three days before you run out and you like to get your rxs in the morning..they will pretty much know that and get the rxs done in the schedule that you like.)it really makes you feel like you matter like i said in that small town feeling like i said above..even if you call them with any changes. they do not make you feel like you are a bother...which is very appreciated! unlike other places that i have the displeasure of dealing with.
They always have what I need and very helpful
I asked an employee where a product was. Her reply was if you dont see it we dont have it. Not very helpful.
Fast...courteous and helpful!
