Pharmacy refused to give me my scheduled booster because I was 4 days from it being exactly 180 days since my second shot. Website let me schedule the appointment using the date of my second shot, however after waiting an hour the pharmacist would not allow the staff to give it to me. Pharmacist told me it was against the law, which it is not, it is simply a CDC recommendation to wait 180 days which I reminded them. They still would not give me the shot.
Since Covid there pharmacy hours are hard to get used to, especially when most physicians open at 8/8-30 AM. I would prefer them to be able to fill a script when the doctors send them over electronically, rather than go back out to get them. They are fairly helpful in person and the pharmacy department recognizes routine customers; sometimes they even give out dog treats through the drive-thru if you have your pup with you.
Robin and his pharmacy team are fantastic. Robin went above and beyond to help sort out an issue with my medication. Hed inherited my case due to another nearby Walgreens inability to accurately fill the prescription. The other Walgreens location has almost zero regard for details, and they frequently try to fill brand-specific prescriptions with generic formulas. Since I am allergic to several fillers, each prescriptions ingredients (for brand name and all generic manufacturers) must be researched before the script is written. An unauthorized substitution can make me really sick. Further complicating matters, my insurance is fussy about the way certain prescriptions are filled and will add a penalty fee to the price if the medication quantity doesnt align with their rules. Its confusing and inconvenient.Robin understood the challenges immediately. Although it was already after 6pm when he received the transfer, he promptly began making calls to my insurance, the prescription manufacturer, the other Walgreens location, and even a former pharmacy that had properly filled the prescription to make absolutely certain that I was being given the correct formula at the correct price. His diligence and effort resulted in a savings of over $2,000 for us, and he had the entire situation resolved within 24 hours. (The other Walgreens location had been working on it for 10+ days without progress when we transferred the case to Robin.)I feel confident that my prescriptions will be filled accurately with Robin and his team at the helm. Im very grateful for their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer care.
Your store is awful only giving one star cause I have to. The pharmacy staff is so lazy and not helpful at all. How is one of the simplest scripts in the world going to take you til tomorrow?! I’m a pharmacy tech and it takes me like 3 mins to type and fill cefdinir liquid! Was it going to take you the whole whole day to type it?! I get it it’s late you’re tired but come on don’t be lazy and actually have a care for your customers. Kid is in the system, insr is on file, and all you had to do was put it in and fill it; yet you look at me and decide I’m not worth the time. On top of that had you actually been helpful to the guy trying to use a credit card holding up the line it probably wouldn’t have taken you 5 mins with him just saying.
Best pharmacy. I get my prescription filled on time. I take certain anxiety medications they dont question me they dont make me feel uncomfortable they always are there to help. Thank you Walgreens Pharmacy staff keep up the good work !
This is by far the best Pharmacy staff I have ever delt with is my life. The Pharmacy techs greet the customers with kindness and compassion. All the pharmacist have always, no matter how busy they are, have taken the time to come and explain and educate me on my meds. I want to specifically mention Bonnie, a tech that always greets me and shows nothing but kindness and respect.Thank you guys/gals, yall are the best.
If you notice an employee whose behavior is starting to affect the workplace, you need to take immediate, decisive action in speaking to them (before their attitude results in multiple problems). It’s important to thoroughly screen prospective candidates and conduct detailed interviews to reduce the likelihood of bad hires.
Gossip the customers and stuff employee politics can be FELT as soon as you walk into the store. I love Walgreens but who is putting THOSE PEOPLE TOGETHER is my question...Discastiing.
I went through the drive thru straight from the dentist after having a crown put in. Dropped off prescriptions for antibiotics and pain killers. After an hour and a half I went to pickup and the same nervous looking staff member informed me that they were UNABLE to fill the script for the prescribed pain killers (only a few days worth of Tylenol) due to some state law that she wouldnt or couldnt offer any details except that since the dentist office had close and they needed to talk with them I was SOL. Confused, I paid for the antibiotics and asked for the prescription back to which she said, Youre not going to be able to fill that anywhere due to state law, but again, she was unable to expand on that. In much pain at this point I drove across the street to CVS and OMG what a difference! The store is newer, cleaner, and the staff much much more professional. The CVS pharmacist immediately filled the prescription while I waited within ten minutes! On top of that she gave me a discount that totaled almost half of the cost from Walgreens that wouldnt even fill it without reason! After I secured my prescription I asked about any state laws or problems with the prescription and told her of issues with Walgreens. She reviewed the prescription and said, absolutely nothing wrong here and seemed to already know of these sort of issues from across the street. Do yourself a favor, drive just across the street to CVS and pass on this Walgreens!
Best customer service! The staff are incredibly nice and helpful
Miranda is the BEST!! Honestly I never really shopped here for beauty products because they never had a good selection but I decided to stop for moisturizer. I felt like I walked into a high end makeup store without the high end price. Miranda is sweet and quick to help you. I liked the fact that she was very knowledgeable of the products and not just sanding there because she had too. I will definitely be back and I challenge all of the makeup enthusiasts like me to stop by!!
If youve not tried having your FedEx packages delivered here to pick up later, give it a try. Its been a big help and peace of mind with porch pirates all over anymore.
I tried to have some photos printed at this location. I received an email confirmation saying the order had been submitted and that I could pick them up at the estimated time. Well, I even gave them an extra 30 minutes after that time. I show up to the store only to be told there were no pictures for me. Apparently the order never even went through. Not sure if this is the stores location or the Walgreens website, but Im displeased I was given a confirmation only to be told nothing existed. Waste of time.
Very friendly staff, always helpful and truly care about helping and about customers. Naturally when its busy; they cant always be as helpful, but they will always try their best. Some people in the area are extremely entitled and impatient. They handle it very well and for that, I am truly grateful.
I would like to appreciate all the things pharmacists have to deal with especially rude entitled people who feel like they are special little snowflakes. Grow up and go put your big boy pants on. The world is a cruel hard place and a pharmacists job is to give you medications that can possibly save your life. When you have that realization you will learn a lot about yourself and the complexity of the field they work in just to serve your dumbass.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR WALGREENS ON 66 & ROWLETT ROAD! Very disorganized. One pharmacist told me when my prescription would be ready & when I went it hadnt been started.
When you receive a prescription for something like chemo medication. And you can’t fill it. You so NOT wait 2 days for the cancer patient to call you!!! You call the patient so they can do all they need to get it to the right place. My husband is having to post pone his treatment because this pharmacy DOES NOT CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY WERE TOO LAZY TO CALL MY HUSBAND AND WE WOULDN’T HAVE KNOWN IF WE HADN’T CALLED TO CHECK ON THE PRESCRIPTION!!!!!
This location has THE BEST head pharmacist I have ever encountered. Today he went way beyond what I usually ex pect from retail businesses. We had a mystery going regarding a refill from a few months ago. I was ready to say okay we got confused so well just move forward. But Robin, the head pharmacist, would not give up until he figured it out. That is why I will recommend this pharmacy to everyone! THANK YOU!!
The lady pharmacist is power hungry and changes what the male pharmacist does while shes on clock. Im so done using this place. The guy pharmacist told me my script would be ready on the 6th. So I wait. Then when I call to check if its ready.... its some lady and she says they practice their own. Okay.... well work at your own stores then! Never dealing with them again. Thats why theres a thing called NOTES!
My review is for the photo center. They were uninformed of their own policy, when I asked if the images could be put on prints the clerk replied uhm...I think so. Then when asked what time they would be ready she was unsure. We called back to check and were told 10 days. Needless to say, we will be picking up our cameras and taking them elsewhere (and getting them for less).
They close as early as 9:45.Since Im already leaving a review, Id also like to say that if the head pharmacist is still that bald white guy, hes extremely prejudice, ignorant, and rude.
The pharmacy people are rude and unprofessional, I was trying to explainmy sons insurance to her and she sat there looked another way and was rolling her eyes after speaking over me when u was trying to explain her stupid ass question. Then she proceeds to argue with me and have my come back later. When I originally dropped them off the girl I dropped them off with had a major attitude problem. This is why I dont go to Walgreens but had no choice it was a brand med that nobody else had.
Rony the pharmacist was the most amazing person! He was also quite handsome ;) He helped me find everything I needed!
Very friendly pharmacy staff that always greeted us by name.
The pharmacy service is nothing to brag about here, they could care less about going the extra step to help resolve issues unrelated to whatever is on the CPU screen, a simple phone call worked in my case due to some new change in the Tri-Care system, which I had to make, so as a Vet, Im disappointed in the lack of effort provided, especially since medicine is involved
.Best pharmacy in Texas by far, very nice and helpful staff.
I think this is a great place!
They didnt have my med and I never got a call saying they ran out of it. All she said was they couldnt call becouse of my area code was different I used to live in huntsville texas. Dont go to this one. Very disorganized. That was a wasted trip on my gass. If I could I would give them no stars.
The head pharmacist is a bald Asian man I cant believe Cory called him white thats so racist
They had a medication we needed for our daughter that no one else carried in generic
Rony Alias is very rude....
Very nice staff
Rude staff. Terrible.
