Beverage Depot is by far the best liquor store when it comes to prices and overall convenience. They have wide selections. From wine, whisky, scotch, tequila, to even your favorite community beer. You name it and they got it. The staff members are polite and very helpful. I highly recommend this store for anybody looking to save a quick buck and receive great service all in one trip!!

Above and beyond awesome customer service!I called to check on stock of an item, but it was out of stock. Ive already had some difficulty finding said item, so that was no surprise. What was a surprise, is the call I got a bit later, from the store. They found what I was searching for and then made the effort to contact me and let me know they had it! Someone actually cared enough to go above and beyond and I appreciate it so much!! I feel terrible that his name escapes me as Im writing this, but he knows who he is! It could of been left at out of stock and Id of been none the wiser. He took the initiative to go look in the stockroom, surprisingly found my item, and then he found my digits in caller id and BAM! Im a happy girl! Thank you!

Beverage Depot has the lowest prices in town. Better than Specs and GoodyGoody! They have everything you need and will probably be 2-3 dollars cheaper than Specs and GoodyGoody. The manager Moji is very helpful and kind. They have the best customer service. If they don’t have the item they will special order for you. I wanted some foreign beer and they got it in stock the next week. I will only shop here.

First time in this store and man was I amazed by how big it was. They have an amazing selection of bourbon, tequila, vodka, and scotch. I was very surprise to find out they had wellers, Buffalo trace and eagle rare on the shelve. Not only that, they had pretty awesome cabinet full of rare bourbons!! The staff was awesome as well, and very knowledgeable!!! Will recommend to all my friends and family!!!

Wow this is a huge selection and very fair prices. Some pretty unique liquors in here (have some pretty cool bottles). Im sure you can find whatever liquor youre looking for in here. Beer selection isnt all that bad either. All the domestic beers and some craft.

I went to the beverage depot that just open in Rowlett with my wife. As we’re walking inside the store a lady came up to us and told us that no big purses were allowed inside the building. She showed us the 3 signs that were up which were in the entrance, exit and the wall. I was told that my wife had the option to leave the purse in the register where the cameras were pointing or in the car. I respect their policy and decided to leave it under the register. The lady was really sweet and kind. We continue with our shopping and saw that they had really cheap prices compare to other stores. The staff was very friendly. Overall it was a very good experience and we will definitely be back to shop here again with the holidays around the corner. I love their gift sets they have so far!

I went into the literally brand new Beverage Depot in Rowlett yesterday and man they have it going on in there. Its a BIG but very organized place! As far as selection, well dang I think EVERYTHING is in there! I was greeted by the manager, a very nice lady named Moji as I came in, and a very nice guy, Nathan, helped me find the things I wanted in that big store. Prices were lower or at least competitive with Specs or Goody Goody down the road! And in fact one of the items I wanted was a dollar more than at Specs and they matched it right on the spot. 😄 Overall I was in and out very quickly and I had an A+ experience! Thanks Moji and Nathan.

I have shopped here three times with no issues AT ALL. The guy who is usually there is VERY nice and even was nice the first time about me taking my purse to my car and ever since I just take in my ID and debit card. So he is great. However, today I went in right when they opened and it was very early (maybe 10:01) and their sign was set to open but both doors were locked. Nbd. I’ll call just see if they forgot to unlock when they switched the sign to open. I was then BERATED by a lady about how “they just barely opened and would get there when they get there” very rudely and HUNG UP. I was floored but thought whatever just going to get my item and go. The nice guy came over we had a quick discussion about how he thought the door was unlocked and nbd. I proceed to enter and did not speak to this lady at all and she proceeds to start RUDELY speaking to me from across the store saying they are busy in the morning and if I don’t like it I can take my business elsewhere all while pulling her mask down to yell at me from across the store. Mind you I NEVER complained or even approached this worker. She began harassing me from the moment I walked in the door. I told her she was being rude and to stop speaking to me and I turned my back to get my items and she is CONTINUING to yell across the room “I can’t believe You started my morning this way!” At this point I’m just baffled and smiled and said “you have a good day” and grabbed my things and checked out with the other employee. I had to ask her at least 3 times to please stop speaking to me because she was being very rude and harassing me when I just wanted to purchase my items and leave. VERY concerned at the fact that an employee can speak to a customer this way and I will be calling the corporate office on Monday. Goody goody and specs will be receiving my business from here on out.

I went to beverage depot in rowlett today, and it’s like a huge warehouse just for liquor!!! :D I enjoyed my visit, they had plenty of awesome bourbon, whiskey, scotch and tequila!! Also they had very affordable fine wines!! I highly recommend this liquor store. Their employees were really helpful and friendly! They explained to me about their 5 start rewards, which I think was pretty freaking awesome!!!

If I could give this store a 0 I would. I have never been asked to leave a store nor has it been assumed I am a thief for carrying a handbag. My husband and I were barely inside the store when I was approached and told I could be a shoplifter simply for walking into a store. I will never step foot inside this store and will strongly discourage anyone that asks.

Still cant believe what happened tonight. My husband and I went there and found a bottle of Wellers that he wanted, marked at $42.99 and took it up front. Cashier rang it up for $49.99. He let him know that was wrong, so he asked the manager. Instead of honoring the clearly marked price, she pulled the price tag off of the shelf and then told him that it was rare and she couldnt afford to sell it for that. He mentioned that he didnt believe she really had that choice as it was clearly marked, but she told me that he could either pay $50 or get a refund. We had already purchased there before and would have again, so pretty sure she would have got her $7 back, but there are at least 4 other stores within 2 miles, so I guess Ill try the other stores next time.

Stocked up on wine coolers and beer for 4th of July

I went into Beverage Depot, Rowlett today for probably my fifth time and one of the employees came to me and told me that purses are not allowed to be carried into their store. 😳I told him that I had been there several times before and it was never an issue. He proceeded to tell me that since I had been there several times that I should have already known of their policy. I assured him I had never been asked to not carry my purse in that store or any other establishment in my entire life. He said clearly my purse was big enough to put a bottle in. So, instead of having a debate with this man I said I would simply take my business elsewhere. I should have gone to Specks in the first place. They are always super friendly and helpful. Customer Service is important for Success! I suppose if I were to leave my purse in my car then it gets broken into and my purse is then stolen while on your property, I can hold Beverage Depot liable!

My husband typically patrons the store in Dallas So I have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to shop the Rowlett store. I’m a working mom so my shoulder bag doubles as a laptop bag and as a purse. I began shopping in the store on Saturday and was rudely told by one of the store employees that the store doesn’t allow any oversized bags. He stated that I could leave my bag at the register or I wouldn’t be allowed to shop. I was only targeting 4 items so I swiftly tried to grab the last item before he reminded me again of the “no oversized purse” policy. I left all items at the register and left in utter frustration. I went to another store in the area that welcomed myself along with my apparently ridiculously sized purse with a friendly smile. I will not patronize this business any longer.

Nice selection and great prices

So me and a few buddies came up here the other night (didnt even know it was there), and this place was super welcoming, the staff immediately helped out and pointed me to what i was looking for. all their prices were great, and building was clean. definitely coming back. much better then some other nearby choices which are either gross, unfriendly, or overpriced.

Minimal selection of wine, beer, and liquor and their website even states they only carry national brands. If youre looking for a popular brand of liquor or basic beer selections you might save a few dollars over the other local stores. Local grocery stores have a larger wine selection. Being newly opened they are still incorporating new inventory and the selections might improve overtime. Staff was friendly and many asked to make sure I was finding what I was looking for.

Pretty boring selection of Bourbon and Scotch. Average to above-average prices. Somehow the built a GIANT store and didnt put much in it. And Im pretty sure the A/C doesnt work in there. I see no reason to go back.EDIT: All it would take is a single mouse-click to see my other reviews and see that Im a Google Local Guide thats been posting reviews and contributing to Google Maps data for quite a while. And if you REALLY wanted to get froggy, you could Google search my name and see that Ive been working as an IT professional for over 20 years, and not a liquor store employee. I stand by my original review.

We stumbled onto Beverage Depot and wow what a great find! We showed up about a week after they opened ( Ive been there 4 times since) according to the staff who was super friendly and willing to help us. We did the initial looky lou, pulled up prices from our other stores and saw this place was legit with solid pricing! I then started looking for things that I didnt find at my regular spot and they had it!They have a club, you use your phone number and with every purchase, you build up and receive a $5 coupon. Ive been back several times and did a big run stocking up for the holidays, and this past week (11/16) they have added even more!All I can say is they have it, if they dont, just ask and they will tell if they can and will get it.Great prices, selection and great staff!

Need a good wine to impress your significant others parents? Bev Depot. And if you don’t know what you’re looking for...they have super knowledgeable staff who can help you out. Everyone is really friendly in the store and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. They also have closeouts deals that you won’t find anywhere else. With the holidays coming up, they will be my one stop shop for gift sets, the biggest collection I’ve seen. 10/10 recommend shopping here!

We walked in and was greeted by a lady. As we continued in the store the lady walked to the front of the store and sat on a step ladder and watched us walked the store. Every time we went down an aisle she was staring as if we were stealing. As we approached the counter to pay the lady got off the ladder and continued to walked the store. I will never shop here again. Specs will continue to get my business.

Favorite liquor store they have everything, the problem is that some associates are not knowledgeable about what they sell. I asked for a specific liquor and the woman told me that they did not have it, I found it there.
