Had just an overall poor experience for my very first visit to service my vehicle. The first gentleman that helped me asked me a series of questions one being if I wanted my car washed which I specifically said no to and they still did it. I know how they wash the cars at dealerships and prefer to do it myself with specific products. Then I asked for a shuttle which I then waited 25+ minutes to find out he never set it up or sent me to the right place to get a shuttle. In addition they didn’t put the correct address to drop me off at. My service advisor never once explained anything to me and then when it came time to shuttle back to pick up my vehicle they had multiple ubers come and had me waiting 45+ minutes to get picked up in 95 degree weather. When I finally arrived at the dealership again nothing was explained to me or went over what was done to my vehicle just a piece of paper and rushed out to my car. Overall such poor poor service.

The lady who works in service and parts at Sacramento Chrysler was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and most importantly she was genuinely friendly, and funny making my spending experience pleasant. Then after I had began my project I had a few questions so I called Sacramento Chrysler, and honestly I was thinking they wouldnt give me a direct answer but... They did!!! Now how many car dealerships... (Service and parts) do you know that would do that? That was a first for me.

I brought in my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee to replace my starter at this location. I expressed how much I enjoyed having my dream car, mainly because I purchased it brand new and never had any issues besides my starter most recently going out a couple of recalls that were taken care of in my first year. One of the fist issues I had with this dealership was that was my Jeep was there for 3 days without any update on parts or repair time and they’re really adamant about selling rather than actually helping their customers. 1 week later from dropping my Jeep off I received a call from my advisor letting me know that my car was ready for pickup but my check engine light was on. Not only did I not understanding why, but what he recommended was to get a diagnostic test done. (Pay more money) when I specifically told him I already got a diagnostic test from a Jeep dealership and I only needed my started replaced. ... After scheduling an appointment to bring my Jeep back on the following Tuesday. My advisor then asked me to open my hood so he can check and show me my oil level. Not really understanding why he was eager to do that when I did NOT get an oil change or anything done with my fluids. I pulled out of the dealership and within minutes, about 3/4 of a mile away I notice the heat gauge meter moving really fast towards Hot and within seconds a engine overheating light came on. I’ve had my Jeep for 4 years and NEVER have I ever experienced it doing this, or the heat light coming on. Immediately I called my advisor panicking trying to figure out what to do. He came in roughly 10 minutes asked me to pop the hood as he began to look around. He removed a cap underneath the hood and said “looks like your fluids are low.” He then drove my Jeep back to the dealership as I drove behind him in his vehicle. After taking it to the back of the warehouse he then added some fluid (coolant I believe) and asked me to assist him by starting my car and press on the gas and hold it to 2000 rpms or such while the heater was on full blast. A few minutes went by and the heat gauge went back to its normal position or atleast where I’m used to seeing it, about 1/4 up the meter. While staying in contact with my advisor I explained to him I’d like to get my Jeep back driving normal, his response was “well take care of it and if not we’ll get you in something new to drive.” I got my Jeep towed into the dealership 5/10/2021and received news the next day that I have a blow head gasket. Trying to get some clarification on how this could happen after coming into the dealership to only have my starter replaced to leave with engine problems. I LOVE my Jeep but this dealership has given me the worst experience as a customer and instead of TRYING to fix the issue they are trying to avoid taking accountability of it and charging me to repair for something they caused. I would never recommend going there.

As mentioned before, I must say that the management of this location took into heart my prior complaints regarding my prior appointment. Being turned away without a proper excuse and told that my warranty was a scam thats sold to RAM owners was not going to fly, and Meena from management also agreed. Instead of backing up or try to give excuses as to why one of his employees would say that, Meena realized that all I wanted was to have comfort in the fact that my car will be fixed at the time it was promised with regular updates regarding any additional services that may be required. It so happened that my vehicle had to stay the shop for 3 days and a lighting panel still needs to be installed and is put on order. Meena displayed a level of professionalism that RAM should be very proud of and went above and beyond to make up for what was lost time and money by my previous experience there. Compassion, understanding and respect are all attributes that Meena has displayed and can be taught to the many service advisors dealing with RAM owners on a daily basis. A customer shouldnt feel that we are taking up your time when we drop our cars off and all is doom and gloom without anyone seeing what the problem is. Meena took my car and said that I can trust that he wont just replace the battery without finding what is wrong. And he did just that, otherwise I would be on the roller coaster of bringing my truck back and forth without end. Thank you Meena for doing what is right and making me feel that 70 grand I spent was worth it! I give it a 4 because this training and pride in ones job still needs to be trickled down to the rest of the staff, especially when so many people are currently out of work and would fill in those gaps in a heartbeat. A person should notice the respect you have for them before you even say hello. But I am sure Meena will make sure this notion gets passed along...
