My first visit was an oil change and at that service I was advised I would need my brakes done on my next service. Made an appointment for oil change and brakes and was later advised that my brakes were fine and he apologized for advising I needed them done. I also have plans to take a long road trip soon and asked about my spark plugs and tires and he said they are fine at this juncture. I will definitely return to a space that doesn’t try to sell me services I don’t need. They are now my go to spot for vehicle maintenance.

What a breath of fresh air this place is! I finally found a mechanic that is open and honest with me instead of trying to sell me needless repairs. I know next to nothing about cars and have always felt uncomfortable at other shops. But the owner here is warm, welcoming, and instantly made me feel comfortable.

These guys are honest which is great to find. I went in to get all my car fluids changed and they let me know that a few of them still looked new so I should save my money and wait to get them changed. I really appreciated the honesty. Plus, their prices are reasonable. When I take my car to get serviced, I feel like Im paying a fair price for the services (which is the opposite of how I feel when I leave the dealership).

I had a appointment to get a diagnostic engine check because my car was overheating. My appointment was at 1pm but I drop it off at 9am. Sergio had my car diagnosed and repaired by 2:30. He had to replace the water pump. It was very fast service.

I came here after hearing a weird and new squeaking sound when driving one day. After Pep Boys tried to sell me $500 worth of repairs, I decided to get it checked out here after a trustworthy recommendation and I am glad I did. Sergio fit me in on a Saturday morning on one days notice and checked out my car right away when I got there. He was professional, friendly, very knowledgable, and did very honest.Luckily the problem was very minor. But I would not hesitate to go back to Freeport Automotive if I was having other concerns or needed a tuneup. I am new to the area and have found a mechanic I will continue to go to.

A profession group of mechanics. I stopped by to get my check engine light checked out. They couldnt check out my vehicle at the moment and asked me to make an appointment for later. As I was driving out of the parking lot, the owner flagged me down and told where I could go that day to get my check engine light analyzed. He didnt have to do that. I appreciate him taking the time to help me out. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to Freeport Automotive in the future. Alan

This was a horrible experience! Not only did they overcharge, they also failed to check anything wrong with the vehicle. I brought in my car because it had major issues they only fixed the radiator and didnt even run a diagnostics test. My vehicle came back with more problems than originally brought in for. Now im stuck here on the side of the road at 1043 pm a hour away from home necause of the lack of attention to details. And I guarantee they wont take any responsibility for my predicament even though they told be my car was ready to drive..... Well here it os still over heating. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP

Idk what it is about auto shops not answering the Damn phone but this place answers and hangs up before you can get a word in. Every time they do it.... Shows your lack of pride in your work and how less of a man you are.

I am very disappointed in this business we had made an appointment five days before the day that we pulled our motorhome out of storage to take it there and we were told that man that works on ACs was not there that day but for sure to come back the following day he would be in once again we pull the motorhome out of storage to take it only to find a sign on the door saying they had to close for some electrical problem very very disappointed in this business
