I absolutely love coming to this store. The ladies are all very helpful and professional. They are very filling to give you samples, and show you what would be great for you. I recommend this store to anyone, especially for event makeup, Ronda, is very great. Shes my go to when I need help there. Plus, they know what is cruelty free and what isnt. That is why I only shop at Sephora. Love, love this place!

I was greeted about 10 minutes after entering the small section of JC Penny and then had to wait about 15 minutes in line. I bought the BRAND NEW Urban Decay naked heat eye palette, and I had to grab a new one because it was opened. I grabbed the next best one (that looked sealed with the tape) and then in the food court where I opened it it looked like people had already have been playing in it. I paid close to $60 for a new palette that looks like it was from a second hand shop! I guess Ill stick to the online store.

I had a terrible experience here a couple of days ago. I came in and no one greeted me or asked me if I needed anything. After a while I asked about a foundation shade I didnt see displayed. They checked for it and they were out of stock. They were also out of stock for two other things I came for. When going to pick out the last thing I went to Sephora for, I noticed the box was heavily damaged and had foundation all over it. I asked the sales woman if this was a used product that had been returned and she said, someone probably had foundation on their hands while looking at it. It happens all the time at a makeup store. She was very condescending toward me when she said it, and considering I have shopped in makeup stores thousands of times I have never seen badly damaged packaging with makeup smeared all over it. So, out of the four things I came in for, three were out of stock and one was in defective packaging. The staff was so rude on top of all of that. I bought some things, and then headed over to Ulta where the staff was friendly, helpful, and they did not have damaged items for purchase nor did they have a ton of makeup out of stock. I wont be going back here because I dont like to be talked down to and I prefer to shop in stores where they have clean items in stock.

I went to Sephora today at 2:30pm to try on a couple new foundations. I walked in and look at a couple of the brands and I haven’t been helped yet. After waiting, I asked one of the employees for help. She took one of her tools to look at my skin which I thought was a positive. After a couple minutes, she told me the shades for each foundation I was interested in and continued on to the next guest....am I supposed to test it on myself?? That’s your job. She didn’t offer and information about the products, did not test it on me and seemed bothered to answer any of the questions I had. At this location, There has been one employee that has helped me consistently and provides appropriate service I would expect a makeup counter to provide. Her name is Chelsea and she unfortunately is no longer with the company. Every time I walk into any Sephora, the customer service gets worse every time. This has become to norm for many of the Sephora’s and it’s super disappointing.

From someone who worked in customer service for YEARS, I have never been treated, disrespected, and made to feel like I shouldn’t be in “THIER” store! They do the absolute opposite of what a high demanding customer service job entails. There are far to many incidences to write a long much deserved rant about all the awful experiences. The major issues though are as follows:All employees are rude and arrogant. Especially the older manager.In a store the size of my living room, with three employees it’s impossible to get any help. They make you feel unwanted and like a nuisance taking up their time, when you have questions.When shopping there it’s always a hit or miss when trying to buy the product you want. They are always low on everything and when asking about next shipments they always say they don’t know what they will be getting anything in and that they don’t do their own ordering.Finally I will describe the end of my very last time going there. I needed a product they were out of and asked them to put one on hold for me when they do get it back in stock. The employee told me they don’t put items on hold for customers. A few moments later another customer walks up to the counter and says “I’m Ashley and I’m here to pick up my perfume you put on hold for me.” The employee then says she will go get it out of the “holding drawer”....The next closest Sephora is in Flint 30 minutes away and honestly I’d rather never give them another dime of my money. I will be shopping online or making the trip to M.A.C.

So I went to buy a foundation today and told the lady that I needed to find my shade...she told me well we don’t have most of them on stock and I told her ok but I can what shade I am n buy it online so she put it on and told me to wait 3 minutes so it could set on my skin she never came back to Check to see if it was my color and on top of that she was super rude to my 3 year old son worst service I have ever had on any Sephora maybe they need a change on their employees 🙄
