This thrift shop is a gem in the Salem community! Not only do they have amazing treasures for reasonable prices, they also have a pantry outside of the shop with water and food for those in need. I used to ironically live Across The Street from the kind owners, so I totally adore that nostalgia as well! 💖🌈

This is hands-down one of the best vintage shops in town! Super friendly staff and I always find a great treasure in here. Amazing prices. They have a community cupboard out front too that they work really hard to keep stocked for people in need. I love across the street vintage!

I stopped in on the way to Portland and was so happy I did. The owner is incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable of all things vintage. Everything was well priced! If you want a deal on some fabulous vintage/antique goods and have the opportunity to visit this shop, do no pass it up. What a fantastic collection of unique one-of-a-kind treasures! I went in looking for miniatures for a custom fairy garden, and was overjoyed to find not only an amazing amount of pieces that would work, but a well organized, smartly curated store full of eye-candy. Youre bound to always find something new everything you go in, and the vintage/retro/secondhand items they have are constantly changing. The staff are very personable and welcoming, and the small business is a strong supporter within the Salem community for treating other people with kindness and standing for justice. Every stop Ive made to this shop has been a pleasant experience!

As somebody whose stuffed animals were the most important part of growing up, I cant recommend @acrossthestreetsalem enough. I saw these 1943 A.A. Milnes on a Facebook post and it was like running into a nostalgia wall. These are the same editions that my grama read to me and my cousins growing up, and I had to have them. They made one exception and shipped them to me, and my heart is so very full. 🖤 If youre ever in Salem and in need of a treasure, they should be your first and only stop!

The owner was super friendly welcoming us in. He immediately shared the deals with us and gave us a quick run down of the store layout. The prices are great, and the selection of items was very unique and appealing! My sister and I scored some great finds and had a blast looking around.

Fun, and different variety! I enjoyed seeing beautiful items from the Phillipine Islands, including traditional clothing and wood carvings. Tropical robes and sequined goodies galore!

Went in for a private shopping experience today and was so happy to have the store to ourselves, and be able to peacefully shop without having to worry about getting too close to any other customers. Samuel is delightful and extremely helpful. 100% recommended to anyone who enjoys finding treasures in the perfect vintage store.

First of all, this shop is full of treasures - I mean, FULL! We went in for the first time today and within minutes found presents for a relatives upcoming birthday, and a little something for each of us. From cute stationary to locally-made soaps to vintage (legit) Persian carpets to vintage igurines to clothing, jewelry, records, and more, this shop is certainly worth stopping in. The prices were very reasonable, the staff very friendly, and everyone was masked up and paying attention to safety protocols. We will be back!

My son noticed the Halloween decor and begged me to go in, and I was glad we did. I found plenty of unique, desirable items and was pleasantly surprised at the low prices. And what’s more was the owner was very personable, friendly and helpful. You can bet we will visit again!

We like to browse this store after dinner at the Mexican restaurant next door. They have lots of great vintage clothing, Knick-knacks, toys, jewelry and Star Wars merchandise. We bought a blanket (each purchase donates a blanket to the homeless) check it out!

Great place! Nice old selection of 1980s-1990s Hot Wheels loose for $1 each. The in package was a bit more expensive, but I think reasonable considering how much theyre worth. I didnt look through them all but I will be back to! Only place in town I can find like this! :)

So may awesome treasures to find. New inventory all the time. Love that it is family owned and they seem to be focused on giving back to the local community. It is so great to see West Salem develop such a nice neighborhood with retail, restaurants and services. The store has everything from plants, furniture, handmade jewelry, clothing and must have items. Perfect place to go gift shopping. They do take donations. They also do some buing. I brought in a few items for them to look at and they purchased a few and I donated the rest.

Saw a posting in the marketplace on Facebook for this vintage boutique. We are visiting from British Columbia, staying in Pacific city Oregon so made a special trip in to Salem to visit “across the street“. It was certainly worth our while… They had exactly what I wanted - as seen on the marketplace and at the stated price. Samuel, the owner, was friendly, shared a story about the items I was purchasing, giving me a brief history of similar items .Lots of fun kitschy, collectables, antiques and hand crafted items available . Will visit again !!
