Here it is the beginning of March and Buy the Season looks like Spring has already sprung. Masks, according to Virginia mandate, are still required in the store. Clerks will provide masks if necessary. Consignment booths in this popular outlet trend toward both handmade and neatly refinished vintage furniture in country- and farmhouse-style. This early in Spring, there is a good selection of home decor accessories from which to choose in both consignment booths and store owned areas. Store buyers have expanded the amount and kinds of vintage-style candles and seasonal light strings on display near the main entrance. Shoppers can sign up at the check-out desk for notices of special sales and display events.

Love Love Love this place. The folks behind the check-out counter are super friendly and very helpful when you are trying to locate a certain item. I have been shopping here since they opened their doors and I have practically furnished my home with all the rustic decor that I have bought here. This is one of the best kept secrets in Roanoke. If you have not been there you are doing yourself a disservice. Its based on a consignment shop. Each vendor sits up their style as they like. You have to give yourself several hours just to breeze through it. It also has a bakery in the store called Moms Bakery. It is excellent. So you can get breakfast, snack, or lunch like we did. They get⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ too.

Its not like it used to be. So many things are new and handmade. We used to go to find old, amazing finds but if you need a new pun sign, thats the place to go.

They have alittle bit of everything and I love it when I go there...

Buy The Season is a nice place. Wide variety of antiques, furniture, gifts, candles, books, and other things. The prices are reasonable. There is also a little place to get a small bite to eat between 1030 and 2pm. They offer gift certificates and will hold a paid for item for a short time while you make arrangements to pick it up. They also have a small play area for kids.

What a wonderful shop! Its a huge venue stocked full of countless vendor booths. Offering everything from farmhouse, vintage and classic style decor (and so many more) to antiques and handmade crafts. Plan to spend a couple hours here browsing the aisles of goodies. Theres also a little cafe to sit and relax with a snack. Highly recommend it!

This place was a huge shop and you could find anything there from craft items, handbags to furniture. I spent an hour there and still didnt see half of everything. Planning to go back especially before Christmas.

This is a wonderful place to shop for gifts, holiday decorations, home decor, collectibles, books, toys, furniture, DVDs, antiques, and flea market like finds. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. Its a great place to spend an hour or two because they have such a large and varied group of items for sale. You can pretty much find something for everyone here. There is also a small eatery here with great food and a place sit down and enjoy your meal or feel free to take out. They also offer amazing desserts and baked goods. I enjoy the bookstore booth the most. It offers a huge variety of books. They have hard backs, paperbacks, a huge selection of childrens books for all ages, a devotional section, history, collectibles, military books, books about pets and wildlife, horticulture, gardening, popular novels by popular authors, and a vast section of cookbooks, craft books for quilting, crochet, cross-stitch, painting, and for just about any craft you can think of. They even have signed and first edition books. This store is well worth visiting. It is by far the best seller of new and second-hand items in the Roanoke, VA area and they are open 7 days a week.

My absolute favorite place to buy furniture, vintage items and other goodies to feather my nest. Today, I found a gorgeous vintage dresser, end table, bench made from a headboard and a neat work of art made from the lid of an old trunk; all for less than $300 and in less than 40 minutes. What a wonderful day!

What a fun and relaxing place to shop! This establishment has a large number of consignments. Booths are filled with antiques, collectibles, furniture and seasonable items. Theres also a little cafe inside the building with yummy homemade baked goods. It is a pleasant atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door with classic oldies music playing. You receive a greeting and can pick up some complimentary popcorn to munch on as you shop. There are also shopping carts, just like at the grocery store. Once youve found all your treasures dont forget to take a break in the cafe. Youll love this place and will want to go back.

Everyone here was very eager to answer questions and assist us in finding the furniture we wanted. They even helped load the table and 8 chairs in the back of my truck without hesitation on a 90 degree day. Excellent selection and great value for the prices. Will definitely be going back again!

Buy the Season is a consignment store in Salem, VA. They have many antic furniture pieces, pictures, decorative items and so much more. Moms Bakery is located inside. Everything is made there: soups, sandwiches, cookies, candies and pastries. These items can be eaten there or taken out.I cant go in there without taking something home.
