The shop is beautiful and worth the trip to Salem! They were incredibly busy during the October-Salem festivities but still managed to offer exceptional customer service. I have been enjoying the apricot brandy tea just about every day since my visit. Thank you so much!
Such a charming and unique store! Everything from teas, gorgeous antiques and candles that smelled SO good. It fit the “spooky Halloween vibes” my husband and I were looking for without all of the touristy gimmicks you find everywhere else in Salem. The service was incredible and they 2 folks that worked there were both very friendly and helpful! My favorite place I went in Salem :) PS: thanks for the Rockport recommendation!
Beautiful little gem of a tea and antiques shop that feels so much like a museum or a work of art in itself. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and we were able to pick out the perfect mildly fragrant custom tea for the next morning. Highly recommended stop in Salem.
Im visiting from out of state to Salem and my friends had high praises about this store. They took me and I can see why! The store itself is very refined. They make me great use of the space with themed items that feel and most likely are very authentic. The owner greeted us warmly and provided a sample to smell of their Bengal Chai which I ended up buying along with one of their custom candles(No.7) that I cannot stop lighting. I highly recommend stopping by this store.
Fabulous store with a great variety of teas and antique wares. Weve been trying to visit the store for months, but we were always in town early in the week when they werent open. Had a lovely chat with the shop proprietor Christian. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
We were in Salem yesterday and found this beyond amazing, fine store. Atmosphere made me want to move in. Such an elegance about the place, and the proprietor Christian, positively unique and exceptional. We found a Sail Answer Flag - Pre-WW1 from NY, Oolong tea which we love, and Winston Churchills fav tea, Spanish( divine smelling) soap, along with their own homemade Gin n Tonic soap - really cool. Could lose yourself here for a few hours, wanted to browse through all the unique items and curiosities. Very special. What an addition to Salem and the surround. Sensing wonderful happenings and things for this truly unique one of a kind store. This made our otherwise rainy day a happy one. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment there. If you have a friend or family member you dont know what to buy for, you WILL find something here. Thank you.
No better place for antique, candle, and tea shopping in all of Salem especially with the level and panache and care displayed by the proprietors. I highly recommend it!
Really cool place with great teas, and an awesome shave cream! Also has some really neat oddities, and a great atmosphere!
Fantastic! Allot of people walk by and miss this gorgeous store. Incredible antiques and wonderful teas.
When they say salem is more than just Halloween, this is what they are talking about. This place really gives you a feeling of old salem from the sea trading with the West Indies days. Candles and teas, check! Strange antique, check! An X-ray of a human skull, check.
This place is awesome definitely coming back next time Im in Salem I could spend all day looking around that beautiful store and I wish I could buy everything in there
A must for a tour of LA and the best it has to offer. Period merchandise, vintage resellers, even tea. Wonderful, fascinating atmosphere. And the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, not to mention knowledgable. They truly live, eat, and breathe vintage.
Great place.
In the middle of Hollywood there is a portal back in to time. DM&CO will be an experience to say the least. With a knowledgeable proprietor and a collection of artifacts seldom seen outside of a museum you can learn about history and maybe be fortunate enough to own a piece of it.
I am always impressed by every visit to this fantastic shop! They are exquisite on a full customer experience.
I became friends with the owners on my first visit. I love the store. It beautifully represents an older, more nostalgic Los Angeles.
So many oddities with history or stories at great prices. Just awesome all around including the people.
Endlessly fascinating curio shop to get lost in.
