There could be nice people in this dealership but it seems like they wear masks to show it. Would never shop here, scheduled to come in and finance a certain vehicle. Then the day before my scheduled visit, after applying for finance here and risking my credit, they cancel my appointment because they sold it to someone else. I couldn’t imagine doing that to someone who’s prepared to buy the vehicle they were so happy to purchase. Unbelievably dissatisfied with the way these people handle customers. 1 star because I can’t give any less, no excuses what so ever for this customer service.
Had a great experience here. Caesar was a great salesman. Very helpful and attentive. The finance folks worked very fast and thoroughly explained all the package deals. They werent pushy or salesy at all. Highly recommend buying from them.
I went in yesterday to look at a Grand Cherokee that they had and from the second I walked through the door they were fantastic. Mike, “Salty” drove to their other dealership to pick up the one I was interested in to start with. Told me I had half a tank to test drive it and I absolutely loved it. From beginning to end he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Him and Ashley made the whole process so easy for me, especially as a 22 year old who’d never really done this before. I ended up spending hours at the dealership going through the paperwork but it was not a hassle in any way. They did everything they could to get me to walk out with a new car and made me feel so welcome. I never once felt that they were just trying to get more money out of me, just that they wanted to make a sale and make a customer happy in that sale. I will definitely be sending more people their way and buying future cars from them.
I’m a first time customer. I had an engine light come on and needed to find out why. The service rep, Wayne, explained things very clearly and concisely. I walked to a nearby Starbucks to get a coffee and when I returned, about a half hour later, Wayne told me what the issue was, what it would cost, and how long it would take. The price was what I was kind of hoping for, and the wait time was better than what I thought it would be. A very good first experience, and I let Wayne know I’d likely return for future service👍👍
My wife and I were very comfortable with the whole process. We knew it what we wanted so made it easy on everybody. Kyle gave no pressure and kept in touch with us on the preparation procedures. There were no hidden costs as I requested. The finance person was informative and complete with advice from Kyle who also knew that part of the process. My wife and I were satisfied with our experience. We like the vehicle very much and look forward to hopefully 20 years of service.
My experience for buying my car at Salem Ford was excellent! The Sale man Joe was very thoughtful and experienced. He was so helpful and personable. When I went to pick up my car, he spent a lot of time with me explaining all the features and even set up my phone and navigation system. He was awesome. I highly recommend this dealership.
If i could give less stars i would. Bought a brand new f150 and Ford will not honor the warranty on the truck. saying consumer needs to pay for faulty part... this is from driving in a snow storm as advertised that the truck is capable of. Ford pretty much said if it is snowing out to stay home and not drive the vehicle. Very Ford tough design if you cant drive in the snow without damaging the vehicle.
Wayne at Salem Ford was excellent in helping me thru getting my repairs done in a timely manner. Ive always had a great experience at the Salem ford service and sales departments. Thank you
I had a great experience at Salem Ford. Michael M sold me my new car. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and low pressure. I also appreciated that he treated me as a serious buyer which isn’t always my experience as a woman car shopping by herself. Len, the finance manager was also great to work with.
The service and staff were great. Very helpful, and easy to work with. They also kept me in the loop with lead times. Overall I had a very good experience.
Yearly good health checkup of my 2005 Ford Thunderbird. Prompt service. Beautiful facility. I felt there was special attention given to my concerns about vehicle age-related potential issues (there were none found) that left me with the assurance that all was well with the car.Very professional group of auto specialists. Well recommended
I regularly service both of my cars at this place. Very professional, will take feedback if something was not to your likening and take care of customer properly. I had Sue take care of my last service and she is great, clear in communication and professional. Had a customer service follow up by manager James which is very nice and rare to find-kudos to the guys!
Wayne Dunn is a very experienced service representative. He knows what he is talking about and very personable. He is the reason I keep coming back for service. I trust what he says. He never gave me reason not to trust his suggestions. You see, I always have someone else check the list of repairs to make sure they were done correctly So far service has been very good, but expensive.
Joseph in sales was great - friendly and professional. Fast and easy transaction. Will be my first call next time Im in the market for a Ford.
Service dept. was very polite, however, they couldnt duplicate all the alarms that went off on the dashboard. again another alarm set off about my 4WD being disabled which I have a picture of. which happened last sunday. also the plastic under the drivers side seat has come undone. that was not repaired.
Professional and courteous sales people and great to deal with. Not pushy.
Great place to have your car serviced by friendly, qualified and experienced personnel.
People were great and professional, tw0 recalls and the works special about four hours but Salem Ford should bring back the shuttle driver for customer convenience .
I recently purchased a new pick up truck from Salem Ford and dealt with Josh Bowen. It was one of the best auto purchasing experiences that I have ever had. Josh was very patient answering all of my questions along with no pressure to purchase. He ended up getting me a very fair price on my trade in along with a great price on the new truck. The finance department was just as impressive, no pressure and got all done pretty quickly.I have no reservations in recommending Salem Ford to anyone looking to get a new vehicle. Thank you Josh Bowen!
Mike Saltman was the best sales person I have ever worked with. He was attentive and made sure that I got what I wanted in my vehicle search and went above and beyond in taking care of my sale. The General Sales Manager, Chris, did a great job and was very patient with my months long car search. My next car search will definitely start with Mike Saltman at Salem Ford!
Hi, I went to fix my brakes because they were pulling me back every time I hit the pedal, and to fix a Shaking that I have on my car every time a hit 20 to 49 Km/h, ok the fix the brakes but they didn’t fix the other problem, because the next day I come back for that problem witch they told me it was related to the brake, later the day they call me and said that was the transmission if I want to fixed or replace it was going to cost 2500 $ just to fix that so I say no it ok but they never give me the money back because I pay to fix 2 things and they just fix one of them I was so disappointed plus they did a diacritic it cost me 140 because I want to know what’s wrong, and I asked for the papers of the results so I can see if I can fixed somewhere else so he never give it to me even if I ask him many times . I never coming back there and I don’t recommend to anyone if somebody aske.
I have brought my car in 3 times for the same issue. I had repeatedly discussed with the GM and service manager that this was an electrical issue and not purely mechanical. After having the issue “fixed” for the 3rd time on 1/29/21, my car had the same issue occur on 2/3. Now finally I hear “well it could be electrical” and was informed it would need at least 3 hrs to diagnosis and open permission to diagnose. Which means a hefty bill. I was frustrated and called to speak with the GM. I wanted to know why, after 3 fixes, now you admit it’s probably electrical. He said he didn’t feel they did anything wrong or negligent. Naturally, the GM said with my vehicle being 7 yrs old and 100k that “these things happen” and he would rather get me into a new vehicle. No thanks. Brought my car to another certified Ford dealer that is NOT part of the Key Auto Group. Based on the issues I’ve described and by doing their own research, their lead tech is fairly certain of the diagnosis. I will not be back to this Ford dealer in the future for any service or to purchase my next vehicle.
Always a pleasure dealing with Salem Ford, they get the job done and get it done right.I could not find the vehicle i wanted due to the shortage of vehicles being produced right now because of the Computer Chip shortage so Salem Ford put one together the way i wanted it by ordering parts and having their service department turn an XL into an XLT.very fair on price, professional on what they do, i will certainly be purchasing more vehicles here in the future.
This is a beautiful car dealership in Salem. They took great care of me when I bought my Mustang Mach E. Pricing was fair and transparent; they gave me a fair number on my trade. The team was professional and courteous. I would recommend Salem Ford.
Brought my vehicle in for diagnostics.the service rep told me I needed a timing chain and the rest of the motor was in great shape. It will get another 100,000 miles easyAfter I approved the work and the timing chain was installed, they ignored me for 2 days until I showed up in person.Turns out there was low oil pressure and my motor was totalled and they couldnt get the motor put back together. But, since they parts were already installed, I still owed them $3000.00 even though they couldnt reassemble the motor.since I was moving out of state in 2 weeks, They suggested a used motor with a six month warranty that I could take to any ford dealer for $5000.00Turns out, it was a 3 month warranty and the warranty was only good at this single location.Thats what I get for trusting the word of a dealership service departmentUPDATE: after the response from the owner(below) I called the number provided and he was not in. I was given the option to leave a voice message, so I did. Its been 2 weeks with no additional response.
I live in Maine and I have been looking for a little bit of an older Jeep Wrangler. I came across the 2013 with 33,000 miles. I called about it and also let them know I had a trade in. I sent photos of my trade in and my salesman Mike actually went in on his day off to help get this deal done. Salem Ford is great to deal with and they went above and beyond. I HIGHLY suggest them when buying your next car and ask for Mike. He was amazing!!!!
Daughter was looking for first car purchase. Salesman was patient with her.
We had an incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly experience. We staff at Salem Ford was not pushy at all and simply wanted what was best for us. Our visit was as short as we needed it to be. What an incredible staff you have at Salem.
Called and left messages with Salem Ford service desk all this week, they never bothered to return my calls. I just needed a couple simple questions answered before heading in for service. Finally after waiting all week for a call back, I called Londonderry Ford’s service desk, spoke with a service advisor right away and got answers to all my questions. Thank you Londonderry Ford! Very much appreciated. My suggestion…go to Londonderry Ford.
If you are looking for a Ford, you must go to Salem Ford!! They are super friendly and very easy to work with. Our salesperson Michael Saltman listened to what we wanted and needed and found the perfect Explorer for us. He took the time to thoroughly make sure we knew how everything worked inside and out. Leonard Huysman in Finance took the time to listen to our needs and accommodated us perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with our choices.
The friendly staff helped with the purchase of a new explorer. The whole process went very smoothly. I was impressed with the front of the house I brought another car in for new tires and a oil change. They were helpful and didnt even pressure an add-on service.
Great Service! The techs in the service department know what they are doing and they share with you exactly what is going on with your car. They even went the extra mile and printed out the technical service bulletin for a problem I had with my car and gave me the part number so I could order it when I wanted. I Look forward to my next visit!
Very pleased with Matt Pena - he assisted us with the purchase of a new car. I emailed and to let him know we wanted to see the car - when we arrived it was out front and running, nice and warm for us! I highly recommend Salem Ford, we had the car the next day! It was a pleasure working with them.
Trying to reach the service department at Salem Ford is next to impossible. I called and waited on hold for 7 minutes, then it sounded like someone picked up but there was dead air, then it hung up on me. I called back and was put on hold again for another 5 minutes. Their answering system is all recorded and it gave an option to leave a message and get a call back, but I’ve tried that before and it takes awhile to hear back from them. I ended up hanging up and called another dealer for my service. I don’t have all day to wait on the phone!
I will start by saying that the service I received at Salem Ford was excellent all around from the moment I and my daughter entered the doors to the moment we left while purchasing our new Ford Escape. MR Mike Saltman was outstanding in all aspects and took the time to explain all features of the vehicle to my daughter in detail which I much appreciated. The overall process of purchasing the Ford Escape for my daughter was easy and took no time at all. Everyone at the dealership was extremely kind and courteous. I also own a 2015 Ford Focus and the service and care for my Focus is outstanding. Everyone at the dealership is kind and courteous, they always to the best work in maintaining my vehicles. Thank you!
This is a new place and its my first time here... I came in to repair a tire losing air. I arrived at 7:50am and I was smoothly welcomed and they took my car immediately for service. The service advisor explained to me what theyll do and was upfront of what itll cost if the tire needs a patch. I was surprised though that Im quoted $40 if the tire need a patch and they explained why it will cost this much. Im still not convinced and I called another ford dealership and checked with them and was told they charge $25 for the same repair, but I have no choice but move forward as I need to hit the road and get to work on the first day of the new 2019 year. I mentioned that the Haverhill dealership charges $25, but the service advisor refused to match the price and simply lost a customer as I was planning to come back to do the 10K service.I was told the repair will take 30 mintues, but the service unnecessarily took too much time of one hour and half to patch a flat tire... I wasnt happy about that, especially that theyre eating up the prime time of my day and I needed to get to work. The entire place is brand new that opened about 6 months ago, which is great. They have a well-lit waiting room with an adjacent kids only room. Seats in waiting area are plenty but not comfy. Kids area has only a TV a single toy, and hence it needs more toys and things to keep them busy. Although they have a display box that should have some snacks, but its spot clean empty. I didnt try the coffee as it didnt impress me. There is a popcorn machine but understandbly was not turned as its very early now. They also have 2 vending machines for soda and some snacks as well as water fountains for water. Mens bathroom is expectedly clean and newer. One major downside is that there is no free WiFi (or even paid) available. So if you need to get some work done here that requires internet youre on your own and better have a Hotspot service available on your cell phone. This is a big deal to me as I need to get work done if the service is to take hours. Luckily I OK today as Im just repairing a flat tire. But I can see how easily this could make a major problem if you need to get some work done and youre stuck at the dealership for longer period of time.
Great experience! Process was simple and I had a new car in a couple hours from the time I arrived until I drove away in the new ride.
Salem Ford is awesome !Purchased my 2020 GT 5.0 last year. The salesman Mike was the best !The service department goes out of their way to assist your needs !
Wayne at the Salem Ford Dealership was awesome! Very patient and responsive! Great people skills and was able to accommodate my schedule perfectly. Thank you!
I have been to Salem Ford before without any issues. However, my most recent experience has been incredibly appalling that I will have to seriously consider coming back to this dealership. I was questioned condescendingly while talking with the service advisor about why I made the appointment in the first place, which already put a damper on my experience. Also, being called little girl missy little missy by her was unprofessional and as someone in my late 20s and a doctor of veterinary medicine, I would have expected equal courtesy that was given to other clients that were there. But what absolutely shocked me was when the female service advisor slapped my butt with papers while walking by towards the service desk! Especially as a woman, Susan should understand that sexual harassment is unacceptable under any circumstance.
Great dealership nice and clean ! Great Employees like Franklin Colon, had a great time working with him help me look around for vehicles and knowing all about them from which model to comparing models together. Would definitely come back and keep working with him. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MR.COLON. 😎💯🤘🏾
I just purchased my 3rd car from this dealership. They have always taken care of me and remind me of scheduled maintenance. Always a pleasure waiting inside while my car gets serviced. I have been dealing with the same salesperson for years. He always makes it a easy process.
The service that was provided to me was top notch, this is a great place to service your vehicle.
Great people, Gina was very accommodating since i showed up 2:45 late to my appointment due to problems with a towing company. She had one of her mechanics take a ride with me in order to understand what was wrong with my truck, the mechanic took the time to explain what was wrong with the truck and show me everything that was going to be done with it. Great client service/support. Thank you very much.
They got me in and out under a hour got oil change and inspection
The vehicle purchased here has significant problems for a brand new car. Takes weeks to get an appointment.
Very good. service and the people are very good. i will recommend salem ford
Wayne was excellent in response and updates! Easy process!
Always professional and friendly service at Salem Ford.
I was in a pretty bad position as far as having a reliable vehicle goes. I called Salem Ford and got Micheal for an sales advisor. He answered all of my questions and was VERY knowledgeable about your products! I was thoroughly impressed. I was able to make a great deal with a seamless transaction! thanks so much!!!
Extremely disappointed with the service dept. and management for their lack of follow up. Seems like Ford company could care less about customer satisfaction. I would write a detailed lengthy review here of my current experience but would like to give Salem Ford management a chance to resolve the issue with us and own up to their mistakes! Fix my car which is still sitting there!Until this visit we have been pleased with Salem Ford. But this experience has definitely left a sour taste for us to the point that our trust in them has been broken. We have been their customer for atleast 10 years and were happy with the service until now.Reading other reviews of past month or so it seems like Salem Ford needs a real quality control shake up and training in customer service!
Michael M went above and beyond helping me with my Ford Escape purchase. He even helped me with moving things from my old car to the new one since I hadn’t actually planned on buying that day. I definitely appreciate all of his help! This was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever made. They did everything for me and I couldn’t be more impressed! Highly recommend!
The staff here is always welcoming and readily available for service. When scheduled ahead of time, I drop it off and Im notified immediately when its ready. The cost for repairs is not extreme in comparison with other mechanics so I continue to trust aGenuine Ford dealer for repairs. Theres warm cookies and coffee in a comfortable waiting area or withinwalking distance, a great diner. Great, easily accessible location. My only request; something dealers useto do when you brought your car for service was to give a complimentary wash/vacuum. Please bring thatpractice back. Thank you!
Took my 2013 Ford Edge to get a diagnostic testTook 8hours, then was told it was the O2 sensor on the catylatic converter. Told it might not be on warranty told numerous times about CA- emissions, under what they where talking about but did not address the issue, the person in service dept was on personal phone playing games, told to bring truck back to fix converter told I have to pay for O2 sensor if they brake after another 8hours waiting for my truck the mechanic braking studs on the. Truck and told my oil dipstick was broken at time the mechanic was working on my truck and didn’t fix it left it in the oil dipstick tube worse experience ever especially from a Ford Dealership, I was a diesel mechanic for over seventeen years and never had such worse experience in my life no parts in parts dept really never heard of such a thing crazy I would stay away from this dealer ship
Was in for service and an inspection. Easy to book and work done as scheduled. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very covid safe.
Just bought my 4th vehicle here. Good service and good prices. New facilities are nice.
Joe and the Salem N.H sales team was able to get me into the car I wanted at the price point that was within my budget. Highly recommended, they made every effort to make my visit comfortable while answering all questions about the lease and vehicle details. Joe was very knowledgeable about each sedan particulars while making every effort to get me into the right vehicle, model and color (Metallic 2018 Ford Fusion). Test drove two vehicles and the very next day was driving away with confidence of my purchase.Highly recommended..A++Dave Rogers serviced my vehicle shortly after purchase to check alignment. Was very informative about the details of the processes of wheel and tire balancing. Answered all my questions and I was in and out in record time.Julia Milos, Tech Bay 1 at Salem Ford, true professional tech., very knowledgeable and would trust my new vehicle in her hands everytime. Highest recommendation, she was a pure delight, friendly and informative. When repairs are going to be required, I have the utmost confidence with Julia and the team of Salem Ford Techs.A++
I just bought a car from franklin here at salem Ford!! Best and fastest experience ever!! Absolutely loved this place and will recommend to all of my friends! Franklin’s the man ask for him !!
Thank you JERRY for reminding me AGAIN why the customer service is the worst at Salem NH Ford. You’re condescending tone and your “I don’t give a sh!t” attitude did not go unnoticed. You might be working in the wrong industry. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. In my opinion, Salem Ford is the worst place to go for service. It’s hard to reach anyone in the service department, I’ve called a few times and even left messages with the service manager and the manager has never returned my call. I’ve had my oil changed and discovered my fluids were low when I got home... which is strange to me. Another time I scheduled an appointment to have my oil changed and other services done and they “forgot” to call me to tell me my vehicle was ready and never completed the services I asked for, I was told they didn’t have the tools to complete my service request. I’m on the hunt to find another Ford dealership to go to for service. The place may look great from the outside but I don’t trust them at all, again in my opinion.
I bought a truck from salem ford and im happy with how they worked with me to get me the deal i wanted.
I always worry about getting the best payment and knowing a deal for a car is fair! Salem Ford is super honest and really made the process easy! Everyone who works there is so nice. Theyre real people so you dont get the typical sleazy car sales experience youd experience at other companies! Thank you for helping me get a new truck!
Work was performed exactly as promised and agreed to. Customer rep suggested some scheduled maintenance (oil change and spot checks) that would be easy to do while they had my vehicle -- note this wasnt an upsell because these services are free to me for a certain number of service visits. Again, work was done quickly and I was out of there in a very reasonable amount of time. Also important to note: the waiting room was configured very well for social distancing per CDC guidelines for coronavirus. The service rep did wear a mask, as did a couple of the other customers in the waiting area, but there werent a lot of masks being worn by other employees or customers.
Ive used the automated appointment in the past, and expecting no problem using it this last time I was surprised to learn my appointment was under a different name! The rep to verify this did not have any of my information and had to process it all over. I did announce I had made an appointment for an oil change and to address an issue brought to my attention from a recent letter from Ford Motor Company. 30 minutes after waiting for service to be completed, the rep told me he had ordered what part was needed to address the Ford letter issue and told me service was completed. Unfortunately he had not heard I also wanted the oil change I had specifically mentioned, discovering this omission upon starting the engine. I did return to address this. He was apologetic and arranged to have the work completed. I appreciated the apology and we both confirmed the automated appointment needed correcting, which he said he would bring to managements attention.
Great experience! I would definitely recommend going to this dealership. Great customer service and helped me lower my payments and get my into an SUV that I’ve had my eye on! Go see Kevin Watson you won’t be disappointed!
Kyle at Salem Ford was so great to work with. His professionalism and knowledge of the product made the buying process so easy. The dealership and management worked with us to make sure we were comfortable with our purchase. We would recommend Kyle and the Salem Ford staff to anyone who is shopping for a vehicle in the area.
I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but please believe the reviews! The parts and service department is horrible!! My husband has taken his Explorer here a couple times and each is a worse experience than the last. The last time he was getting a recalled item replaced and had to bring the car back three times, as the first two they said they would have the part but when he arrived they didn’t. Finally, they had the part and he left the vehicle only to be told when he went back to pick up that it had to stay overnight for the adhesive to dry. Fine, we want to part to seal properly, but the next day when we called for an update, no one could find our vehicle and just kept putting us on hold. At one point when they thought I was on hold but I wasn’t, I heard an employee say, “just stop answering the phone.” I don’t know how exactly you lose someone’s car, but Salem Ford parts department can! He had to drive back and speak to a manager before the issue was resolved. Never going back here again!!!
Excelent service
Jay and his team are very good I will be back
Great service, very friendly staff. Worked with Dave who spent the extra time showing and explaining each option. He introduced me to the entire staff in nearly every department whom all were just as friendly. Great team and business at Salem Ford, highly recommended for any Ford owners.
Went above and beyond to get my truck diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner. Great service department!
VERY PLEASED WITH SALEM FORD. We recently purchased a new F150 from Salem Ford and highly recommend this dealer. We were out of town when we spotted a 2020 F150 with the tow package and options we desired in an online ad. We contacted Salem Ford and worked directly with Austin Adams, General Manager, getting to our target pricing via a 30-minute phone call – impressive to say the least! Austin worked diligently to get us the deal and financing we wanted on the truck we wanted. The final paperwork details, all completed by phone or email, as well delivery to our home, was handled by Sales Consultant Matt Pina (Sales Consultant Josh Bowen assisted with delivery). Imagine our surprise when the delivery paperwork was a bit lower in price than originally agreed. It seems Austin Adams had found yet another incentive (newly available on the delivery date) and had used the incentive to further reduce our bottom-line price! The entire sales team at Salem Ford was patient, thorough, no-pressure, and extremely professional from start to finish - bearing with us as we debated the most suitable financing options for our needs and suffered a bout of last minute cold feet. The total time elapsed from our first online contact with Salem Ford to final delivery to our home was 3 days, which includes one extra day required to have a spray-on bed liner added. The F150 truck itself is perfect; a smooth powerful ride with all of the options we desired. If you are looking for a fair deal on a quality vehicle and you prefer to work with a no-pressure professional sales team, you must give Salem Ford in NH a try. Tell them Ken & Deb say hello...
Expensive (but arent all dealer services), but VERY high marks for professional service advisors (yes you Wanda) and VERY qualified technicians like Nate. These folks actually had me dialoging with the technician about the my service before and after it was done! VERY WELL done! I highly recommend them if you need Ford Dealer Services.
Adding to this review. The manager got back to me on Cars.com asking to give them another shot which I did. I should not have. I have reported Salem Ford to the NH Attorney Generals office for deceptive business practices. Their sales manager Armando Rodriguez just admitted to me on the phone that unless you meet two conditions that are not outlined in their transparent pricing they will not sell you a vehicle at the price listed on their site. The stipulations are you must take their financing and additionally have a similar vehicle to trade them with less than 80k miles. The NH Consumer Protection Act clearly prohibits advertising of goods or services with intent not to sell them as advertised. This is exactly what Salem Ford has done. Ive had a previous bad dealing with Salem Ford but was willing to give them another chance, they wont be getting a third and I recommend you take your business to some place reputable.-------------------------------------Previous reviewBusiness must be booming because they clearly dont care about new customers. I called four days ago to ask about the availability of a truck. The rep said it was a available and I asked him to email me the sticker and said I was very interested. I confirmed my email twice. I never did receive an email from him so two days later (next day was a holiday) I called and spoke with him and he confirmed that he wrote my email down incorrectly. Unfortunately the truck I liked was now sold but there was another identical one for $1,000 more that was available. I said I was very interested and asked for a quote to be emailed to me and I emailed him pictures of my trade. I never did hear back from him so 3 hours later I called the dealership and was told he was on the phone and would call me right back. Of course, he never called back. So the next day I called the dealership when they opened and they told me that that truck had been sold as well. The person on the phone took down my information and said they were going to look into it and call me back and here I am hours later and of course I havent heard from them. Maybe in the future just tell me up front that youre not interested in my business and Ill go spend 60k some place else.
I’m currently still awaiting to get back my 2013 Ford Mustang gt. If I could give no stars I would. Has now been over 3 weeks now. Last week I received a call stating my car was fixed and was being test drove and would receive a second call to confirm pickup. Well that call never came. So I call up on Monday and was told we can’t release your car yet because work was never approved yet through your ford warranty. I guess pictures need to be taken before and was a engine related issue. So Thursday came and service person at desk and I asked about my car. I didn’t appreciate the persons attitude basically saying I was lucky I received a loaner even though it’s on my warranty. Other things were said and as a customer shouldn’t have to go through this to get your car back. I’ve been in customer service over 13 years and was always told you take care of the customer and the customer was right. All I know is I want my vehicle back since it’s been fixed and is just sitting there. This is wrong and will likely be going to the bbb and other avenues. You have lost a customer and will tell other friends not to go to Salem ford.
The salesman, Josh. Josh, was very helpful, responsive, and fun to talk with. He made the experience painless. I had originally wanted a different truck, but couldnt buy it until my home refinance was complete. The truck was sold, but Josh helped me find another that I liked even better. Will buy from Salem ford, and Josh again.
The service department starts with Wanda and she is by far the best at what. She does. She always makes me feel like I am the most important customer of her day and her communication with the client is fantastic. The work performed has always been done well and timely.
Best Dealer HANDS DOWN!!!!I’ve been going here for years. Every time I go in I work with a now good friend of mine Franklin. I must say he has helped me every step of the way!! Greatly appreciate it Franklin. Best sales guy out there without a doubt.
Love ford vehichles but wgen you have a problem once u officially leave the lot forget about it still waiting its been a freaking month. Abd yes im still waiting ✋hello
Ask for Michael M. Great salesman and gets the job done. Very friendly and highly recommend.
Kobbey Silva in parts was so helpful when I needed to order an F150 tailgate. Quick replies and excellent service.
Absolute the best service we have ever experienced shopping for a vehicle. Dan Lagrange went out of his way to work with us. I would highly recommend Salem Ford to anyone looking for excellent service and great prices.
We bought a F350 truck with dump body from Salem Ford. Our sales rep (Josh Bowen) was excellent! He was professional, knowledgeable, and consistent with all of our customer service needs. We were happy with the price of the truck and he helped make the entire process from beginning to signing as stress free as possible. We will definitely call him when we purchase our next vehicle in the fall.
The guys at Salem Ford are awesome! Especially Dan Lagrange. Very knowledgeable and helpful down to earth guy. I will be purchasing all of my vehicles from here from now on. Highly recommended
First time at Salem Ford. I have to say they were great. While at the waiting room for service on my vehicle I met Randy the sales manager. He struck conversations with everyone there and made me feel like part of a new family. He was attentive, and honestly made me feel like a customer and not a number. I went into my Ford App and made Salem Ford my new preference.
I know it wasnt entirely the shops fault being short staffed but having to reschedule (3) times for a missing part was a little tough. The people I was working with were very friendly and gave a loaner. One even gave me his cell # so he wouldnt miss my call. The wire harnesses on the inner fender were not re-attached to their holes.I will go back due to the good service in the past.Im chalking it up to a COVID related issue.Truck runs good now.
I bought my 2014 corvette last june. Salesman was great. When i took delivery of my car, i offered to do my registration myself, as i live in new york. I was assured letting them do it would be easier. Its now January, and i still havent received my registration or any sort of proof i own the car, nor has Wells Fargo, my lein-holder.When Ive tried to call about the situation, i sometimes get my Salesman, whos job it shouldnt be to solve this issue. The finance manager ducks my calls, and i hear nothing from them.Ive been patient, Ive been friendly, and Id like to think Ive given them the benefit of the doubt. But no one in the dealership seems to have an interest in solving my issue. If i dont hear from them by friday, Im going to begin the process of hiring a lawyer to force them to buy the car back from me. They have provided me no proof i own it anyway.I work in auto sales myself, and i understand no one wants to spend time on past sales.UPDATEIve been approached by a member of management who has given me his personal cell, and is working on solving this for me. Ive fixed the star rating accorcingly
It took a while, but these guys earned the full 5 stars from me. John was great to work with on the sales side. Jason was great too, and was able to follow through on a promise he had made during my purchase. I’m loving the truck! Thanks for everything guys!
These guys are amazing, I have never had such a positive experience at a dealership before, pressure or number hustling like most places. Between my salesman Chris, Dan the man and Chuck the finance God they were able to turn a weekend of disappointment and long hours at many dealerships into the most exciting and grateful dream. #LovingMyCamaro-Karen
The people were very professional and always available to answer any questions I had.Product special Franklin Colon was a pleasure to talk with and was a shining example of how to interact with prospective car/truck buyers. I would recommend contacting him for a smooth and pressure free car buying experience.
I drive a 2016 fusion and the engine light came on about three weeks ago so I took it to Salem Ford to see what the problem was. When I ran the codes myself it said it had a cylinder miss fire. Fusion are know to have this problem with there older models. The people that work in the service department are scam artists. They tried telling the long block on my engine was crack and coolant was getting into a cylinder and was causing all the problems. To fix it I would need a whole new engine with a car that only has 67,000 miles? The price came to a little over 7,000. I looked at them like they had 5 heads because that just blew my mine. I said no thanks and took it to my buddy’s shop we’re we check all the spark plugs and replaced them. The old plugs were bad and had no signs of coolant on them. The people that work in service tried to take advantage of a 19 year old that didn’t know what was wrong with his. That should a crime for lies they told me to make me pay for a whole new engine. Never going back to them with any business and I oblige y’all to do the same there scam artists.
I Purchased a 2020 Ford F150 lariat from the dealership. Upon receiving my first payment invoice I realized I received some false information from the sales person. I then called the dealership and spoke with the general manager Dan Lagrange. When I explain the situation the response I received was “come on take some personal responsibility for reading what you sign. I don’t care what you think the sales person said.” This of course upset me since I just purchased a $68,000 vehicle from the dealership. I stated I was going to escalate the matter and Daniel hung up the phone on me. I’ve never received such horrible customer service from a dealership especially from the manager. Dan still refuses to give me his supervisor at Key auto group’s corporate office. He claims he is the highest level even though it is a group of many dealerships. I would encourage you to read the other negative reviews below as the positive reviews are probably placed a reputation defender company.
We have worked with Randy for years and every time has been a pleasure. He recently helped my fiancé find a perfect truck for me as a surprise. His choice didn’t not disappoint. He works with you from start to finish making everything so easy and enjoyable. If you are looking for the best, Randy is your guy!
Highly recommend! I was looking for something specific and found it on their website! Franklin Colon was unbelievably amazing! Super helpful, sent videos and pictures! Anything I asked he was very quick to respond and kept me updated! I drove 2.5 hours to get the vehicle of my dreams! I walked in and felt at home. The atmosphere was awesome! The people were beyond friendly! And I highly recommend Salem Ford!!
These guys turned into my best friends. I have bought 3 cars now and every oil change it feels like a high school reunion. Can’t find a better place any where!
Had an inspection done. Had difficulties knowing where to go. Walked in the side door and walked around looking where to go. Not enough signage directing to location. Found the front desk and was told where to go. After speaking with girl at the desk I pulled my truck into the bay and went to the waiting area. Very nice area. My appointment was at 11 am. And I didn’t out until 12:30. An hour and a half for a simple inspection seems extreme to me! No one came out to tell me if there was an issue. Another 5 minutes and I was grabbing my keys and leaving. The people were nice that I spoke with but would have thought someone would have checked on me or given an update. Last inspection I got at the old building was much quicker and easier.
They are a good set of people. Professional. They tell me my 2014 Ford Explorer is in great shape. However, every time I bring it in for service I wind up spending on average over $1,200. In the last two years, they found issues, air conditioning, tire, sensors, power transfer unit, etc. My latest visit was to fix a tiny oil like leak. They told me it was the power transfer unit. After spending over $2,000 for the repair I wound up with no better performance, and a bigger oil leak. They then said it was something else and I would have spend yet another $460 in repairs. I complained to the manager and they said, that the PTU had to be replaced and that the new leak I reported (after their repair) was related to transmission line that was rotted and they wouldnt have found it until they did the larger job. It all sound extremely fishy consider I had no problems with the car except oil leak. I will no longer do business with this company, or buy another Ford vehicle. Be careful with dealership.
The process of buying a new truck was not only painless. But enjoyable. The staff was freindly and courteous. It was refreshing to have such a nice young sale associate as Nicolas Nico Rosas. Very Very happy with our new F150.
I had mechanical major break down and Wayne & Joe where there to save the day. I called Wayne first thing in the morning and he as was able to get me in right away for service. The team at Salem Ford service Dept.always go’s above and beyond to help you.
Went in on the last day of the month and worked with Mike to get into a new F150. In and out in about 4 hours, all in, including the test drive. No hassle, no finance games, and no haggling. Great experience.
