I went in to the freckled bee for the first time today and it’s so great! I originally went in looking for ASL flash cards or toys they didn’t have any but were super rad about looking into getting stuff in! It’s awesome that they are so inclusive. 10/10 will go there again. Lots of cute soft clothes and toys and stuff for moms too 💖

Favorite shop in town! The make custom order shirts & gear for very affordable price and quick turn around time. The kind of shop that remembers you. Ideal shopping for Christmas/birthday gifts. Shout out to their employee Alec; he’s seriously so kind & helpful.This shop is known in for their community work; engaging with Free Fridge Salem, putting out free ice cold water during hot days & even making shirts for the unhoused population. Right on!!I see a lot of one star reviews without comments on here. I recognize some of the names. These people are voting on personal bias rather than actual shopping experiences because they don’t agree with the social justice work the shop does. Shame on them. Shame on Google for allowing these reviews in their algorithm.

Every time I have placed an order it has been efficient. I love the quality of my shirts and the fit is so comfortable! I highly recommend The Freckled Bee and will continue to shop here in the future. In addition the customer service is amazing and they always do their best to make it as personal as possible. Again, HIGH RECOMMEND!

I love love love all my stuff from The Freckled Bee! Everything I’ve purchased has been exactly what I wanted, especially the social justice stuff I’ve gotten. It’s not often you find a store with a social conscience that also sells good quality items. The shirts are always soft and the printing holds up well through many washes.

We adore this store and have visited its home location as well as shopped online. All my orders have been high quality and consistent. Online, things get delivered under the quoted time and show up in perfect condition. The staff in the store is helpful, there are a ton of products and the owner is always willing to make a custom on the spot.To me… this isn’t a political store. It’s a place that cares about fellow humans.

How refreshing to shop here. One of the few rare truly all inclusive spaces in Salem. The owners have created a community haven for those of us that weren’t privileged enough to be born white males.They have cheap customized-while-you-wait things that I love to get as gifts, clothing, toys, like pretty much everything.

Owner called my wife a “fucking bitch” for simply trying to return an item she purchased the day before. The owners return policy is not clear, nor transparent when you shop at the store. I do not recommend this store. Very disappointing.

I absolutely love both the high quality clothing and educational products that are sold in this store and have found some absolutely adorable outfits for myself and my children here. More importantly though, I appreciate that the owner supports the rights of the people in our community who need our support.

Had a order of shirts made for a MEMORIAL, and had awful, insensitive customer service, from the communication about the time to pick up, to when our order was actually ready, to the quality of the finished product. If you have an important, sentimental event and need shirts, please, PLEASE, do not bother coming here…. Waste of time, money, and your sanity.

We had made a bulk custom order and a handful of tshirts had markings and scratches. They handed it to us like this without fixing the issue knowing that some t shirts did not turn out well and purposely put those T-shirts at the bottom of the bag. The receipt also states non refundable.
