I got nothing against the store or anything but in general me being mexican walking in side made me feel so unwanted and uncomfortable. Everybody kept Staring like if i had something they wanted not to mention i asked for help getting something from a worker and said . I can’t understand you. Like i do speak good English.

Got some shoes for my boy and they had the size of diapers we needed. Successful trip.

Clean, well stocked, and team members make effort- some more than others. Its appreciated. I shop here frequently over other stores for value and experience.

Went here to pick up some golf balls. They have them locked up so the attendant told me she would take them up to register five. Great. Only after waiting in line for 15 minutes at register five they werent there. I was told sorry and received no further assistance so I left, without the one thing I went there to get.

I go here to the commercial st location quite often and use the pick-up section which makes it easier for me cause Im a single parent of 3 young kids. Never have I ever had a problem except for a slight issue ONE time with my order which I had not picked up the same day that I ordered it but went to pick up the next day and I guess it accidentally got canceled (they were implementing delivery for the first time that day and were backed up, very busy) it wasnt a big deal though cause they made it right and even gave me my order at no cost to me. Honestly some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Not to mention Aeris one of the employees who brought our groceries to us today was very nice and my kids really enjoyed her kindness towards them!10/10 recommend this particular Wal-Mart.Thank you all for the hard work that you do! It does not go unnoticed

Had to get a couple pairs of jeans. Was able to find my size easily and it was pretty well organized. Then went to get my medicine and the pharmacy offered to check out everything for me saving another wait in a line to purchase everything else. Thank you.

The visit was fine. Found a nice pair of jeans for $8. Woohoo. Not much in the produce dept. but this was not a Super Walmart either. Kind and courteous employees.

Isles full of employees shopping for others and stocking selves with no regard to others trying to shop. Came around a corner going slow and one youngster hit my cart so hard it threw mine in into my stomach. Also a store full of people with 1 cashier that I could see. Come on Walmart you make plenty enough to hire more cashiers and have employees shop and stock before or after normal shoppers and store them in the large cooler which you must have since your offering online shopping.

Picked up a TV today. I let them know I was there and they came right out with it—quickly. 5 Stars!!

Do not use the propane exchange at this location. The new process for obtaining a refill is absurdly inconvenient. You are instructed to leave your empty propane tank outside, near the far corner of the building. You then walk inside to wait in line and pay and then walk back outside to await assistance. Assistance involves standing in the cold/rain for 20 minutes, only to have an associate eventually come tell you they are out of stock. In other words, they accepted payment for a product they didnt actually have. My payment is gone and I have zero intention of ever returning.On prior visits, I find that most of the inventory I need is behind lock and key. Examples of locked up items include car batteries and electric razors. Youll need to find a floor associate before you can purchase specific items, which is never easy. Presumably, locking up inventory means less staff are needed to monitor for potential shoplifters. However, without access to inventory, and without the staff necessary to unlock the inventory, shopping for all the goods you need becomes virtually impossible.

Because of the Walmart Employee Im still fighting off their treatment of only a few people are allowed to spend the night at Walmart at Turner rd, Salem Oregon.Notice the dates this truck trailer have been parked at Walmart. Easily the best WalMart in the area. Smaller, yes, but they still have everything you need and its much quieter here than the other stores in the area. Compliments to EJ, who seemed to know absolutely everything about the store. Helpful and funny - he should be running the whole store... Maybe all of Wal-Mart!

Purchased an item online. Was our for delivery but then it was marked delivered with a pick of someones hand covering the lens and then the driver drove off with my package. Im very disappointed with the way Walmart is letting random people deliver packages

Chose curbside pickup, and when I tried to call them, they put me on hold for fifteen minutes. Then I called again, they never picked up. I called corporate, and they said they couldn’t get through to them either. We went into the store, and after another 15 minutes, we got the manager. She said she didn’t know what to do and couldn’t do anything about it. We weren’t able to get the item that we paid for, and the only solution was to buy a new item off the shelf and then try to figure out the curbside pick up later. Don’t waste your time.

I’m a proud shopper of the Walmart store. I love picking products. I will say that I do miss the aquatic swimmers, other than that this is a captivating and stunning establishment.

Walmart on south commercial has about the worst customer service on the planet. With one exception.. the people at the customer service desk. They are quick, friendly and seem to know what they are doing. The rest of the store might as well be run by robots. At least the robots would know where things are located. My suggestion.. if have to shop at walmart go to the one on turner rd.

If you go early in the morning, your experience will be favorable. Most everyone who works there are friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I have to say is that there are empty shelves in various departments and noone seems to know when they will be restocked.

I got all my stuff put on belt it made it all the way to the guy and he tells me I gotta go to another line because he is underage he cannot sell me the beer I had thats ok but he should have called a supervisor to ring up the beer for him but no I was told I had to put all my stuff back into my cart and go to another line.that is not ok if there is a minor checking there should be a sign saying no alcohol perchases.after I went to the line next to it two other customers had to do the same when I was waiting in second line.

Worst customer service I have ever experience. Employees clearly dont care talking back to customer. Do not support this store!

Meh ... Its Walmart. The ONLY reason I go to this one is bc its a neighborhood type of store that definitely doesnt have that gross Walmart feel, and the people are really great, but its still owned by greedy corporate slime. So I keep it to a minimum and save anything unpleasant to do here

This store layout is harder to navigate than many other locations. Departments need proper flow from one to the next ..when similar items are arbitrarily placed across a wide primary aisle instead of a row or two away inline then the transition from one similar type item to another makes for frustrating backtracking 2x-3x on a hunt for that item expected to be right nextdoor.Additionally, as a managerial planning observation ..it is really, really bad timing to have a flood of employees pack almost every wide primary aisle with 7ft tall pallets of restock from 5 to 8pm (or later) on a Friday! This decision created walls that further blocked nearly all the site lines to the similar items in the rows across the primary aisle (as previously mentioned) as-well-as forces customers to go 2-3 extra rows left/right away from their objective every time they need to cross over!

Cleanest wall mart Ive been in in a long time!! Way cleaner than any in Medford!

Didnt like how there was only a few check out stands an the self check outs you have to have a card. Other than that it was okay.

I went to buy a Walmart gift card for my daughter for Christmas. The checker put it on top of the bag carousel and never handed it to me. I had more stuff that I was buying so I forgot about it. When I got home I remembered she never handed it to me and it wasnt in the bag. I freaked out because it was $100! I went back to the store and a wonderful floor manager named Megan helped me for over an hour. She looked through the camera footage and realized it was the checkers fault. She looked for it and tried to cancel it but it didnt work. Nevertheless she gave me a new card! I am very pleased with their customer care. Thank you!

Typical walmart experience. Not as well stocked or as affordable as they used to be, but they have most things you need.

This store is in Salem and no homeless crowding the door or begging .all the shelves were actually stocked full .the store is clean and they still have hardware automotive., sporting and camping gear they even sell guns and they dont force you to work for free and ring yourself up . they dont watch you pay for your stuff then stop you at the door and check your bags lile your a criminal while watching the homless steel them no bling and just let them walk out unquestioned .yes Im talking about Wal-Mart@Eastport plaza

The meat and produce section could be bigger. The clothes sections seem to be pretty large, so this would be a good place for back to school shopping. If youre avoiding large groups of people during COVID-19, this store feels a little cramped at times when it gets busy.Even with the stickers keeping customers separate, the aisles are a little slim. So are the spaces between the sale item pallets. It may be beneficial to keep these things in mind.

Called for pick up only to have it go to voicemail. Started to download the app as the text message was making me and someone finally walked out to ask me who I was picking up for. All in all will not be doing Walmart pick up there again. Will go to the turner Walmart from now on.

Great not a lot of people easy to find parking

HAD A VERY RUDE CHECKER TODAY. SHE WAS BARKING ORDERS OF WHAT TO NOT PUT ON THE CONVEYOR . THEN GOT IRRITATED WHEN SHE HAD TO STAND UP AND SCAN THE PRODUCT. IN ADDITION SHE INFORMED MY FRIEND HAD SHE GIVEN THE GIFT CARDS BEFORE SHE STARTED SCANNING SHED BE ABLE TO TELL HER THE VALUE BUT SHE NOW HAD TO WAIT. THEN SHE WENT TO PAY AND WAS YELLED AT TELLING HER DONT PUT YOUR CARD IN YET. I UNDERSTAND TIMES ARE ROUGH RIGHT NOW AND ITS BUSY BUT I DONT APPRECIATE BEING YELLED AT. I SHOP AT THIS STORE ALOT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED IN THIS MANNER. I CERTAINLY HOPE SHE GETS TALKED TO ABOUT HER APPROACH.

Update 2021... Still good and fun play to visit and bring kids... They have everything (almost)... clean 🚻...good selections... Self checkout(Historical....Love the location, love the clearance section... it is like a Easter eggs hunt...)

Id like to give a higher rating because I really like Walmart: their staff are all nice and go out of their way to help a customer who cant find something. Even pharmacy folk will leave their room to help a customer find something being looked for. And the Walmart people do this while remaining friendly and helpful even if youve grabbed them away from something theyre busy doing. My own family isnt always this accommodating! I just wish this store would accommodate their customers by enlarging so there is safety in the aisles. The store has made it so people run into each other by their efforts to go around each other. If you dont yield to the right or basically follow the rules of the road, you must back up and leave, hoping the next aisle over is free. Surely Walmart has enough $$ to expand this place? I acknowledge their efforts while hoping for change. One other item for change...the ladies restroom by the service desk and entrance. Fans which work are needed...maybe even some room deodorizer please.

Very helpful in assisting me to buy a watch. The watch that i ended up getting needed to have a number of links taken out so that it would fit properly. But the sales individual was more than glad to assist.

I will never go there. They only allow you and out on one side. They lock the other doors. Now tell me what happens if there is a shooter how do people get out??? To me the life of you customer should mean more.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is its hard to find staff by the fishing area. Ive waited for over 30 minutes before to get help.

Take advantage of their online grocery pickup! It is such a convenient and easy way to browse store inventory without the hassle! If you plan in advance or have bi-weekly items that are needed, this is the type of shopping you should be doing!

This Walmart usually has a good stock on stuff, they always have handicapped scooters and are pretty helpful and friendly.

Did the pick up due to the smoke was so much nicer than shopping in the store.

I have witnessed numerous customers be blatantly profiled according to looks and attire. Then 1 of a half dozen zealous vigilantes will creepily follow/stalk them around the store in a truly passive aggressive form. Much more aggressive than passive... Making sure the said perpetrator knows she is being watched, in this particular case I could tell the recipient of the harassment was not there to steal anything because you could see the embarrassment and offense in her expression the moment she caught on to the employees game. It takes me a lot to write a review, be it great or miserable, it has to be pretty extreme on one end or the other to get me to take the time to share my negative experience with strangers. This store unfortunately woke the sleeping (justice) giant. I know theft is a big problem and should be mitigated but not at the cost of shaming, belittling, even downright harassing innocent, maybe dirty or rugged looking, cash paying patrons... Oh and even if the person is only spending a quarter on a cup of water, they should be treated with the same courtesy and kindness that the family buying the 72-in ultra 4K HD 3D Bluetooth enabled smart flat screen tv for the spare room gets. If we are aiming for equality that is? Well, Pardon my rant, and thanks for tuning in! I would say see you next time but there wont be one :-)

Love that this wal mart is close to me, but wish they opened earlier in the day. The store gets super busy mid day and afternoons. Long lines at check out and lots of people who dont wear masks or maintain social distancing. I recommend going as soon as they open if youre worried about your safety or personal space.

So I have to be honest the Wal-Mart off of commercial street is a joke. I love that its so close but they should really give that place a long over due make over!

Since the pandemic started, I cringe every time I have to go in. As I am unable to wear masks. the people that go in there do not pay attention to the aisle markings that are one way, and they do not pay attention to the 6 social distance rule. For those who are compromised, in one way or another, it does not feel safe to shop there.

I always would go here until I was treated like a kid. Very Rude worker and Manager had poor Leadership and Customer service skills.

Always nice people...clients are pretty typical for WM and a few take their masks off as soon as they are through the doors...grrr!

Went to the Online Pickup station and was greeted by a very polite and courteous man who loaded my 62 lbs package into my car without even having to ask him. Good experience and happy customer.
