Great place but there selection at the Salem center location is not too good at all. Still recommend though

I have loved GameStop for years. But today I went to this store to buy a a new console. I was quickly approached and told that I MUST WEAR A MASK before I could enter! Mask mandates have been gone for weeks. I will NEVER shop here again. I refuse to support a business who is sharing in the fear game with covid!

Everything is just as expensive as anywhere else. I felt bamboozled because I myself am not a gamer but my mini is. They tried to up sell me on everything. I think I had to listen to 6 different shpeels trying to check out. I guess they were helpful if you wanna walk out of the store with two extra bags full of stuff you didnt know you needed.

Staff are very good to me and I find awesome deals here.

Do not look for customer service when attending this GameStop because you will not receive any.

Nothing spectacular about it, just another store within the mall. Its a small store with an equally small selection. Just another Gamestop in town. Nothing special, but average at best. The staff seems friendly, and the inside is fairly clean. No outstanding customer service, but fair for Gamestop standards. Their staff is fairly knowledgeable in regards to gaming systems, but do need keep up to date on their newest releases knowledge.

An opportunity to stop in the store today because my kid was in school. Restore is clean wasnt too busy which made it kind of nice to go around. However the service staff never asked if I needed any assistance although I really wasnt in there to purchase anything but only to price a few items for an upcoming birthday.I would recommend the store and all their other stores which are similar to this one

Had a great experience here, came in just to browse, spoke to the store manager he was the only one working, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had an amazing offer with their yearly subscription service, ends up being a fantastic deal. Will absolutely be back in highly recommend this location.

Asking me if Im disabled or if i can use the number from my parent or guardian was incredibly rude and disrespectful, Considering im a thirty year old college graduate. I actually attended high-school with this individual..he approached me on a first name bases before I even saw him so he clearly knows who I am, anyway we hit a wall and he was refusing to do business with me because I wouldnt indulge personal details for him, unprofessional.

Being as I am a grandma and dont know anything about Xbox1. These young men are so helpful. Im at this store at least once a month. If your a grandparent these guys are awesome and will8ng to help. Never had a bad experience.

Edited Nov 2019: upped the rating because I went in to pick something up and the employee was super cool. Funny and engaging with customers without harassing them.Please cool it on the heavy sales! I probably would have bought something but didnt want to stick around after a dude gave me a sales pitch for five minutes right after I walked in the door.

David decided the last copy of a game was able to be sold as “new” even though the seal was broken case was open and said he “needed the original display case and could not sell it as used”. I asked him why Said corporate wouldn’t allow him to. The game that was sold as new here was used as a unsealed game can’t be sold as new before I purchased it yet it looked legit because it still had the new sticker on it. 5 year old was extremely disappointed to not have a sealed copy after I showed him what a new copy of a game was supposed to look like. David was a very dishonest employee and did not put the customer first here. Will not be returning to this location

I know that they are known for ripping people off, but they sell games at the price of everyone else if not lower, they just dont have a good return policy. I hope that people understand this, it is annoying returning games after all and who really wants to buy used games? Its just weird to see people complaining about that, I dont use the website much mostly because I buy a lot of my games in person but I did buy my Nintendo Switch from GameStop and I thought everything worked out nicely. There were no problems, the people were always nice, they always suggest things like games, accessories, and so on. Its just a nice environment for gamers.

Friendly staff. Up to date environment. Good used cords and controller section. All the latest systems and games. Staff are not always familiar with every system and latest trends its definitely a college job, but the worker was more then happy to look up what I was needed and assist me in finding the item was not the store. Also informed me of a discount and let me use it along with an updated model of the same system for the same price. Respectful and productive staff and store is always well organized, clean and inviting. Not a great place for used or out of date consols and games.

I had trouble finding several games on the shelf. Before I could go ask someone for help, I was approched. I listed off a few games and the young man ran to see if there were any instock. Luckily they had the 3 I needed for my sons xmas list! I was very pleased with the service and knowledge of the employees!!

I like this store but I kind of cant stand the company. I was told by an employee that I wasnt informed that I could get a brand new PS4 for 20$ more than a refurbished one because they get in trouble for pushing new products rather than used. This is a horrid disservice to customers.

Sold my daughters old iPhone 6s plus to them. They gave me $46 more for the phone then Verizon would. Easy process and the employee was friendly and easy to work with!

Good quality resale gamea. Also bought a ps3 and the cashiers answered all questiond thoroughly.

NEVER shopping here ever again. GameStop does not check the games to see if they do in fact work (was said by an employee) so I brought in my ps3 to test out the games to see if they do before purchasing because Ive bought 4 non working games previously. I also spent almost 300 on a ps4 that definitely needs to be sent back because after I signed in and go on a app or game it gives me the blue light of death and shuts down no matter what. Gamestop need to start getting there act together for sure.

Not a fan of mall locations since theyre small. However, the staff was helpful and was quick to answer questions and properly suggest the GameStop Pro membership when it came up naturally in conversation.

We went to gamestop to find pokemon gear for my boys for Christmas. The staff there were very friendly, helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Great experience!

Awesome experience the manager Jay really hooked me up with a great deal and was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful. Tough to compete with Amazon but these guys are hanging in there with a personal touch to their business. Ill be back.

The store way nice but the was an employee that tried to pull us away from what we where looking at to see some new pop they got. We had to say no thanks a few time to have him stop. Then few minutes later he interrupt me from talking to my wife about some sale that you can see posted on the shelf. We where there just to look for a game to play but couldnt do to that employee. Hed had no name tag on. Didnt get his name. We left without getting anything do to being annoyed with him.

This is the gamestop that i love going to for 3 resons1. I am treated like a person not some moron that dosent know anything.2. They will help me with finding deals and for the stuff i want.3. They have an answer for every question i had for them from what is popular for swich users all the way down to how many points I would need to buy a console with just points.This is why i go to this gamestop and not any other game store out there.

For such a small store they do very well los of section and deals. My usual choice for game releases, can get a little tricky when a game launches and the malls already closed but if you call them they will help you get in.

I was unimpressed with this store. It felt like the space was too small. There was too much stuff and too many people packed in. It all felt a little chaotic to me. The staff was friendly, but given how many customers there were, I felt bad about using up their time and making other customers wait.All in all, I will plan to visit a different GameStop location next time.
