Not only are the clothes they get so beautiful, great quality, and unique, but these are some of the nicest, most considerate people I’ve ever had the pleasure of shopping with. I’ve ordered so much from them (not to mention I’d like to just basically live in the adorable storefront), but these people are so thoughtful. I’ve never had a bad experience! I recently ordered some skirts with almost all in the same size except for one. They reached out before shipping to make sure the size difference wasn’t by accident, and mentioned the skirt runs a bit small. They worked with me on figuring out if I should go up a size or stay with the original pick based on my waist measurements and happily helped me figure that out. No store I’ve ever shopped at has ever been thoughtful with something like that and been so happy to lend a hand! My first ever purchase, the belt to one of the dresses I ordered was missing and they promptly let me know and substituted it with a completely separate belt free of charge for the slight mishap that they thought would look very nice with the dress (it does! Looks even better than what the original missing belt would’ve looked like!). Their attention to detail and commitment to customer happiness really makes me feel like they genuinely love and care about what they do, and it’s always SUCH a pleasure shopping here. This will always be one of my go-to stores and my happy place for retail therapy! P.S. I got my favorite bag ever (a chicken-styled bag that is aptly named Chicken by myself and others) and everyone ALWAYS compliments her (it’s justified, she’s a very nice chicken), I’ve even had people ask to take pictures of it! I always tell them to come to Modern Millie every time. ❤️

I LOVE this place! It was the highlight of my Salem trip. The shop is stuffed full of unique, fun, well-made clothing. It was the perfect teacher dress shop! The staff was very helpful and friendly even in the midst of a fairly busy October day. The prices were reasonable for the quality.

This shop is amazing! I was just visiting Salem, and stopped by. The staff is super sweet, helpful and fun. I left with 8 new outfits, and the prices weren’t bad at all considering the beautiful quality of the pieces. Best of all, they carry fashionable size inclusive clothing. I believe up to 4 or 5xl. I’m a US size 16 and had no problem finding many cute things in my size. Thanks so much! Will continue to purchase from your online store, since I live across the country 😉

Ill admit, I encountered a great sales woman. However! She was just truly lovely. Encouraged me to try on something knowing I may not buy right then. Gave me some tips for trying on clothes in general. We had a lovely conversation and a truly wonderful buying experience. Not to mention, I have the witchy, spooky season outfit of my dreams now.

Not only does this shop have the most amazing selection of dresses and tops, but they come in so many sizes, which I absolutely love to see. The ladies working were incredible- friendly, kind, helpful and extremely enjoyable. When my friend and I tried on so many dresses, and only ended up getting one (I still feel bad about this!) they were still friendly and understanding. Seriously- if you are a woman of ANY size, go into this store. Whether its clothing, insanely cute earrings, broaches, glasses or other accessories, you will absolutely find something you cant live without. FANTASTIC shop. Packed with great stuff, impeccably helpful (and patient!) staff, very reasonably priced. While there is great souvenir shopping in Salem, Millies was our favorite shopping stop.

Literally the cutest shop filled with the most adorable and unique clothing items! It definitely is a bit high in price but I think the quality of each piece warrants it and because you wont find these any where else especially with how well they fit and look in general ! Overall a very nice place and will definitely visit again soon ☺

Modern Millie is an awesome dress, shoe, and accessory shop. Its so impressive that the clothing available will fit & flatter all types & sizes of girls & women. No need to hunt down the diff. sizes, cuz theres a quantity, for ALL. The prints, designs and styles are in an array of assortment, too. The clothes and accessories at Modern Millie are so flattering and cute. The staff is also incredible. I walk in feeling like a walking Milk Dud and leave feeling like a glamorous unicorn.

Fun shop that carries retro inspired clothing & accessories. I was so happy to find they even have clothing for little girls so I was able to buy a really cute dress for my daughter. Everything here is great quality so pricing is fair. Staff was also very sweet!

I placed my first order for store pick up and the process was incredibly simple. The order online was ready for pick up within an hour. Upon arrival you have a few options. You can call them or just go to the door. I ended up going in for my order to browse the rest of the store.The retail location itself is rather small, but it has the most unique collection of clothes, pins, bags, and more.I loved everything there so much, I ended up getting a few extra items with my order pick up and even placed a new order online today! Within 20 minutes of placing the order, I got an email that it shipped and was on the way.Amazing customer service. Great products. Easily one of my new favorite shops!

Ive never encountered such a cute shop before, and I am absolutely in love! The staff is extremely friendly! They were willing to put together an outfit and send me a picture of it because I wanted to make sure the pieces went together before I bought them! They also assisted me with sizing, and when I got my package in the mail everything fit perfectly! I am so very happy to have found this shop, and it will be my go to for shopping from now on! They have the cutest pieces, and I feel like I finally found a place that fits my style.

This is a beautiful shop! It wasnt open when we first got to Salam but my friend and I knew we definitely needed to go in as soon as we could. We both got dresses were going to wear for graduation. I was so happy to find an Alice themed print!

Their prices arent bad either, and the staff is super helpful and friendly.Recently, I ordered something online and had it only two days later, with a handwritten note thanking me for my order. I love this store. It is my favorite shop, and where most of my clothes come from. Happy to support local businesses and the staff is attentive, friendly and dresses me in the most flattering outfits. Bold prints, bright colors are plentiful and stock changes seasonally. The window displays are absolutely spot on wonderful! I never feel pressure to buy, which sometimes happens in other stores Ive been to.They carry a large stock of vintage and vintage reproduction dresses, shirts, skirts and beautiful shoes, belts, purses, hats, gloves, scarves....literally anything you could need or want. The coats they stock in fall are fabulous and go quick! So if you fall in love...buy it! Honestly, same goes for dresses, things sell quickly. If you like something TREAT YOURSELF. If you think the dresses are pricey, they are worth it because they last. I use to buy dresses at target...and have to toss them after a year. All my dresses from this store stand up to wear in all weather and lots are stretchy which helps me as my weight fluctuates.

My wife and I come here once every few months and they always have new stuff. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Parking can be a beast but thats no fault of there own. One of the few places in town that dont just sell tourist swag. They actually have really nice stuff.

I drive an hour and 45 minutes just to go here!!! I love it!!!!I get compliments on everything I buy from there!!! Staff is extremely helpful! The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is because the prices are high and I can never buy their adorable shoes because they don’t have wides!!! But if you’re not worried about the money and don’t have chubby feet like me it’s a perfect 5!

I really really love everything in this store. Beautiful dresses and accessories and shoes. And really friendly staff. The only drawback is dresses are quite expensive. But for that really special outfit this place cant be beat. And if you are a ModCloth fan: quit that bad habit now and start buying from here instead. Same stuff but cheaper than ModCloth.
