Waited two and a half years to visit there after my son-in-law had visited and had great service and good conversation with who we thought was the owner. Apparently he wasnt cuz the young lady that I worked with was not very nice very sharp in her tone when I asked her to wheel and deal and then tried to start a nice conversation!As far as collections they have some pretty cool stuff in there but given our treatment I would not go back.

In the spirit of whimsical second hand treasure shops, its a little messy; charming some would say. The prices for such a place were a little higher than expected. It is in, however, a great, heavy foot-traffic-area.

Amazing (and random!) treasures and very lovely staff!

Oh my goodness. I love this place. Parking is tough at times, but its worth it to find that hidden gem you never knew you had to have. I donated most of my items currently but, when I was shopping to kill time. This was one of my favorite places. Still wish I grabbed that dining room table with the Lion legs. Beautiful wood and detail. I would have enjoyed that monstrous yet unique piece for a while. Slot of retro items. Lamps, tables, chairs, toys, dishes and downstairs was full too. Hope they updated that area, it had mostly clothes. Friendly staff. Wish they had delivery at the time I went there. That would have been dangerous.... lol.....Plus, I would also visit the Barking Cat that was a few doors down. Hip and modern place with unique things too.

A great place to rummage through and find some treasures. Make sure you have some time to spend here to do so.

Can be pricy depending on what you want to buy. I have found some really great stuff here though. I go back on occasion and always find something. Sometimes the daughter is there, and when she is, she lowers some of the prices for me. I overall love the place.

This place is just chock full of diamonds in the rough. I could spend days upon days looking in this place and still keep finding stuff I want to buy. Prices are extremely reasonable, and no pushy sales people following you around, either.

Loved all the unique and antique items about this place. we found some great records and knick knacks to take home to family, jade a great time glancing and prancing around among all the pieces of history. real great find, and parked right outside the front door for a decent rate! Salem gem.

Incredibly unique shop to mix into your Salem visit. I went during the Jerrys fright fair which had even more to offer with one of a kind vendors. I highly recommend this visit!

Have been looking for the perfect kitchen table for years. Finally found the most beautiful dining room table here for an amazing price, and support a local animal shelter! Everything else was beautiful and in great condition! Amazing, clean... will be going back!

A fantastic, and reasonably priced, family owned antique shop. Joe, Jenny, etc., are friendly and active; Joe buys estates, and shop traffic is constant, so merchandise turns over fast. He knows what it takes to maintain constant turnover and cash flow, so you will sometimes find real bargains. Downtown Salem is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Well worth frequent visits if youre in the area. Parking might be tough during October madness, but is otherwise fine with two municipal metered lots within 1 block. Highly recommended! This is America, so leave your PC puritanism at the door - and Im a radical-liberal saying this!

I wish i could agree with all the positive reviews. Unfortunately i found the shop to be over priced, and also felt the owner?/store clerk was kind of nasty when i had questions.

You have other channels and avenues to utilize that the City of Salem has in place for consumer rights and health violations.So if you feel there are valid concerns over health issues regarding mold or the smell:Call the Board of Health. It is what I would do.If you feel the business is in violation over customer issues; regarding legal issues on a contract or abusive language call the Better Business Bureau or Legal Services.If you feel that some of the items are unfit for sale or questionable in content or rating they will resolve these issues using the proper channels. If you can provide them with pictures of said items or have an item that you feel is presenting a conflict of issue turn it over to the appropriate channels. It is what I would do.I do agree with some of your complaints it is dank, it does smell and one staff member in particular is completely rude and unprofessional. However, you have the appropriate offices in Salem to address them.You can continue to complain here on Yelp but it really is not resolving your issue. If you have a valid reason and it is reasonable than file a complaint.Or..... You can just avoid shopping there altogether. It is what I decided to after being personally attack by an employee after being a long time customer. just avoid shopping at WCC. Try e-bay and save yourself the frustration.Best,Matt

Great staff, super helpful. A nice assortment of holiday items at a good price if youre looking for decorations, and a large variety of other items as well.

Heaven on earth for people who like to sift through piles of stuff.

We went for their special oddities freaks and antiques event and were disappointed. Really wasnt a lot to look at and for all their advertising it seemed a little thrown together. The vendors had a lot of the same kinds of things to look at. Overall just underwhelming.

Picked up a dresser and a nightstand here, both need to be refinished but in relatively good shape. Happy with the selection, staff is pretty friendly

There was a lot of cool stuff however there was one item near the front that was a little figurine of a clothesline, from which was hanging two pieces of clothing and a black baby, with the words who left this here?This may be a small thing but it seems pretty bad to me that they would choose to sell it when its pretty hard to misconstrue the sentiment behind this item. I wish I had spoken up while I was at the store.

I live in Salem & have been in here a dozen times. Most occasions Ive seen items I like but after checking the prices I immediately put them down. Im not coming back here any time soon. The items in this store are sporadically over priced. I saw 2 of the exact same item & 1 was $35 & the other $55. Im not shopping at a place that doesnt price merchandise accurately or professionally.
