I contacted Konica Minolta today because I was experiencing a printing problem with our copier. The machine was purchased for our senior center a few years ago before I started working for the center. The center purchased the machine outright, but maintains a service contract with Minolta. I called to see about adding the Scanning feature which the staff informed me they were told when they purchased it that this machine has that feature. Our IT Department was unable to add those capabilities as it does not have the SMB set up. When I talked to the tech today, he started to walk me through how to set it up and then stated he couldnt help me any more because our service contract does not include that feature. He encouraged me to review YouTube videos to see if they could help.So, your tech department is encouraging people to go to YouTube... I guess going with the low bidder - you get what you pay for.
