I had a really good time in the store. Got some souvenirs, postcards that I wanted to send out. When I asked the woman at the register if they knew of a location nearby that sold postage stamps she said they had some to sell, worked out perfect and so conveniently for me. Made it a lot easier than having to run around looking for stamps. I thought the employees were pretty friendly and overall it was a positive experience.

Nice inventory, but the lady working behind the counter could be nicer to her customers. My friend had her mask on but not covering her mouth as she drank her coffee and rudely asked her if she needed a mask and in a rude manner told her in here they need to wear their masks. We are 33 years old, not children. There’s a nice way to just say hey could you make sure your mask if covering your face. We aren’t children don’t speak to us rudely.

Used to love this store, but went in tonight when the doors were wide open and more customers were in there, after 3 minutes of being in the store the women asked very rudely if we were looking for anything, we said “no, just browsing” and she followed with “because we closed 4 minutes ago.” This was completely unnecessary seeing that the doors were open and she could’ve given us a warning that the store was closing soon and we would have left, no problem. Being in customer service I didn’t appreciate the attitude, especially coming from older people who assume that all people my age are rude and ignorant! Never going back here again!

There is a huge variety of merchandise, the staff are friendly and helpful with some reasonable prices.

We stopped at a few places but this one was the friendliest by far.They have a better selection than some of the other ones near by.

I got a great sweater and it was a nice souvenir of my trip, but i’m really annoyed that the okie sizes were $2.50 more than the regular sizes. we call this the “fat tax” and it’s so unfair.

My boyfriend and I started a tradition to go to Salem every year. We visit this store a lot when we come to Salem. This year was no different! The staff are extremely nice and caring. They answer question and also give insight on what’s worth visiting and going to. Great selection of gifts and things, and we always buy our sweatshirts here and not to mention it’s one of our favorite little shops in Salem. Please be considerate and wear your mask. The workers are trying really hard and they need customers help in following the rules so they can stay open !!! This store is worth the visit!!!!

I have always wanted to go to Salem, and to my surprise, almost every store I went to, the experience was negative. The employees either wouldn’t take imperfect bills, didn’t provide bags, wouldn’t bag products that I purchased in their stores, display the common courtesy of minimal patience, or even be nice, etc. My boyfriend and I brought in a large item from another store where the employee was too lazy to look for a bag, and when we entered this store, an employee came up to us with a reusable bag and tried helping us put the item in the bag without us even having to ask. Excellent service! Being nice is rewarding and your attitude can change another’s. Excellent job being decent human beings! Keep doing what you do! (Also if she isn’t the owner, someone give this girl a raise!)

Freindly staff. Well organized. Very helpful on local attractions and suggestions on food. Prices are well and selection is huge. Great place to stop in and visit.

Sweet little shop with the best tee shirt selection in town. They even have an online shop. Very good prices, too. I purchased something that later needed a replacement and their service was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT and speedy. Im so happy with my purchase. Thank you, Trolley Depot People!

The Trolley Depot is a cute little shop and Salem is a wonderful little town. I was in Salem 6/28/18. I saw a T-shirt in the window that I wanted to buy for a friend, but the shop was closed. I went back the next morning before I left and the sales clerk was extremely rude. I was told most of the stores did not open until 11, but I walked down to the Trolley Depot in case they opened before I left. The door was open and I stood by the door and asked, are you open? The lady replied as soon as you get out of my way I will be! I did not want to spend my money there, but I wanted that shirt for a friend. When I went in I asked if she had a medium in the shirt I wanted, she replied. Look in that pile! She never did help me. I did buy the shirt, and I asked her if she was the owner and she replied no. I knew she wasnt because no owner of a small business in a tourist town would be so rude to a customer.

I thought that the staff was incredibly rude inpatient and harshOn my son for no reason. I guess if youre a rude and inpatient person.You will love it there 👍

Cute store. Buy the trolley tickets for $20.00, hop on and off the trolley, sight see and get a history lesson about Salem and everything; even the witch trials! Its enticing!

Very confusing and unorganized. Website says to go to the visitors center so we did, staff inside just told us to go outside, where we had to walk half a block away to find a small kiosk we didnt know would be there. The man working at the kiosk seemed really stressed and it was early in the day. The trolley ride itself was nice and I look forward to using it as a shuttle again on our next visit.

The sales clerk lady was so rude in this store. An older lady with glasses, very rude, condescending and a overly pompous woman. She put her glasses down and looked annoyed like a school teacher. Its like they are bothered to help and get annoyed if you ask for any assistance. I have been there twice. I thought first time ok bad day, I get it we all have them. Second time the same thing the following year. The first time I purchased 100.00 worth of Halloween ornaments and they seamed annoyed to have to individually wrap and box them. The second time it happened again. I talked to people about this they recommended other ornament shops in Salem off of Pickering Wharf which where way more helpful and happy to assist a tourist. I do not recommend this store. Unless you are accustomed to spending good money and being treated poorly. Ill never spend another dollar in this store and tell everyone I know stay away from this place.

Gifts are good and clean and nice.

The trolley rides are great! Very friendly guides, informative, fun, friendly! It takes one hour, you can also hop on and off, but I would recommend to do the whole ride and then use it to hop on and off.

Loved this shop. Was one of my favourites because their prices were fair. Was disappointed in one of the shot glasses purchased because as soon as I washed it the lettering came off. Be warned. All in all a good shop

Trolley Depot is a special little shop. When I want to find something offbeat this is my go to. Do you want a House of Seven Gables Christmas tree ornament? This is your place. A zombie tiki lounge shirt? A tardis mug? Something you didnt expect to want or give? The Trolley Depot is your place. Nothing you need, but lots of things youll want.

What an absolutely awesome experience! First the staff... incredibly friendly at checkin for tickets. If you are active duty military with ID, ask about military discount; they take care of military! Next the driver, outstanding drive through the tight streets of Salem, a true professional! Now the guide, Salem native, great voice, excellent banter and great narratives, with comedy! On your way off the trolly, tip them to show how much you enjoyed the tour. There are two loops, East and West. The Trolly is hop on hop off and youre ticket is good for the day of purchase.

Nice store, reasonable prices, clean and the staff is nice. I will shop there again when Im in Salem.
