Had an appt at 1230 I waited almost half an hour so they can take my car in...need to work on they speed of service.
I was checked in only couple minutes right after my arrival. The process was so simple and fast. Marcus the manager offerred me shuttle services so I did not have to wait at the waiting hall for 2.5 hours. Also Mr. Fretwell was the driver. He was not only friendly but also made sure my PlugIn Rav4 got fully charged before I even asked. Best services in Salinas, and Bay Area!! Thank you for your profesionalism and helpfulness:)
Ordered some TRD Pro wheels online from them and they got out quickly. Unfortunately UPS lost one and rather than wait for the entire claims process to be complete, ST sent another one out and will deal with UPS about the missing wheel.

Had a evap leak in my ES300 and they did fix the problem after $1400+ so that worked out great! One star taken away for not doing the requested oil change after the car being there for days and another deducted for no multi-point inspection paperwork given upon pick up and over $800 in diagnostic work. On my Tacoma, my rear tires were in very poor shape which is my bad, but that multi-point inspection said the rear tires were just as good as the front and the front were just replaced. I think Ill try the Seaside location further away next time.
Made an appointment, arrived on time, and was kept waiting outside for 20 minutes after my appointment time slot before I even got checked in. Michelle (the service rep) was dismissive when I mentioned the reason I brought my car in for service. It was pretty obvious she didnt really care about the issue since the tire pressure light wasnt on anymore, and I had to ask for them to at least take my car in to double check with their own equipment. Easily one of my worst experiences there, if there was a Toyota dealer closer to where I live Id go there instead.

Lazy sales and service personal. Its hard to hear from them we leave messages and nothing. It took them 2 months to take care of our issue. And to top it of they didnt even do it right.

This dealership is the best I have ever been in and I own a BMW. Alyssa was so polite and humorous. We shared a few stories and shared what some call the human experience. There was a free shuttle provided, it was clean and the drive was super quick. The man driving though I do not remember his name was polite and well dressed. The work was done super fast and a free inspection turned out a perfect report card. The cashier had a beautiful smile and had polite, intelligent conversation. Worst service. Orders always late
Took my son pick up his car. They were supposed to hook up the wires to his stereo. When we picked it up they had left dirty hand prints on the hood and I side the vehicle. So he asked if they could please wipe off the dirty hand prints. They took it through to car wash for him. Well today, 8/31 I took him again to pick up the car because the stereo wires were loose.
I was looking for a car and I saw they had a lacrosse I wanted even though the dealership is two hours away I was willing to drive I called and I set up an appointment with Juan Escorcia and when I was almost there he called telling me that the car was out getting detailed it’s okay I just asked to reschedule we did reschedule and the second time when we got there we got word that the car was sold and Juan didn’t bother letting us know so the two hour drive was a waste.be careful buying a car here.
Dont go to the Toyota in Salinas. They have terrible customer service. Theres honestly too many other Toyotas to be bothered with employees who dont care, and just want your money at Salinas. Save your time / money, and spend it at a different location instead.

Long wait to get vehicle checked in...approx 15 min. Then paperwork and wait time for service. Nice waiting area with donuts and coffee even in the afternoons. Nice showroom. Staff was pleasant once I got help to check in. Better set up for waiting to check in, I had to stand outside to be in the queue. Two attendants but with same customer for that whole time and didnt acknowledge me. Finally a supervisor showed me inside to an empty check in area ... pleased with the service. Just not the initial wait. Cashier was not friendly, but did get paperwork processed quickly.

They attended me immediately when I arrived at my appointment. They explained to me exactly what service they would do to my car and how long it would take. They even offered me their transportation service in case I dont want to wait in the dealerships waiting room.People are always friendly and in a good mood when they receive and serve customers.
From the inception of our introduction from the General Manager, my first impression of Mr. Jones was a man of confidence and consideration for his clients. Our initial conversation was about what was important to me. What my interest, needs, wishes; realistic or not was deemed all important. David, was very patience in listening. He understood his client was confident in herself but expected candid advice in areas of unfamiliarity. Never did I feel pressured! I gained trust in Mr. Jones when he offered important information unconditionally. I was upfront and relentless about my needs. Thank goodness he had a sense of humor. Mr. Jones, quickly understood what was important to me. He was experienced and compassionate enough to give me the time required too let me make my own decision. He too understood some of my indecisiveness and offered excellent sound relative advice when appropriate. His after sale car tutorial was great!
I think Salinas Toyota is a very good car dealership. The staff work very hard to make everything smooth as possible. I plan to buy another car/suv from Salinas Toyota, when my lease expires.
I have been using this dealership for 15+ years. Great dealership. Easy to get an appointment. Mike and Allysa are great Service Reps. They are helpful and explain what is both recommended and what is wrong with my car. Certainly costs a bit more than local independent car repair shops. But they handle all recalls and car needed parts. I give them an A+

I live in Grover Beach, CA, and I found a Toyota Tacoma that I fell in love with. So I called to make sure they still have it and they did, we spoke over the phone and we had a deal & agreed on a price. I catch a train and took me 6 hours to get to Salinas, when I arrive the truck was purchased previously and they didn’t mention that, the battery was dead, it had above 600 miles on it, and when we spoke over the phone they said it was brand new with no miles and I took their word but they lied!!!! I still wanted to purchase the truck regardless but NOW they changed the deal around, they are going to charge me $3,000 more than what we agreed on. I stood up to left and they begged me to come back and I did, they wasted some more of my time and I didn’t have it anymore so I left, wasted $400 in transportation and came back home. Don’t waste you’re time on these liars and go some where else!
Yes, again the Salinas Toyota service department stepped up, so I had the best possible experience. I love it when Im seen at my appointment time, I know the approximate wait time, and the complete details of service. I all so appreciate the call when the service is finished. Service is the strong point at this dealership, they are open 7 days / week. I have gotten better pricing and selections from other Toyota dealers but it is a bit of a drive to get those others. Overall a good place to go to for continuing business.

By far the best experience I’ve had at a car dealership, and I’ve had my fair share (including working at one in the past).I was helped by Daniel Perez, and I could not recommend this dude more. He was extremely helpful, kind, and just an all around good person. I came in hoping for the best and I got the best, so I highly recommend asking for him if you plan on visiting this dealership.Also worth mentioning that the gentleman who signed my paperwork was also great. His name is Raul Chavez Torres, he’s been at that location for almost 20 years and it shows in his knowledge and professionalism.If you’re like me you might be a little wary about going to a car dealership, but I think your mind will he put at ease when you visit this one.

This car purchasing experience was so easy. Their staff was knowledgeable and worked diligently to get me the car that I wanted, in a way that I could manage, with the best interest rate possible. Everything about the car I purchased was explained to me before I left, the car was detailed, and filled with gas before we pulled off the lot. We were given information for contacting the dealership in case of questions or problems.
They explained the vehicle and purchase completely, answered all of my questions, were pleasant to work with, and honest and trustworthy. They were willing to listen and consider our concerns. It was easy and straightforward. The salesperson explained all features, offered to spend more time with us if we needed/requested, and made us feel comfortable.
The buying process was great. We visited the lot to see what was available. During that process the sales manager introduced himself. I told him I don’t do the salesman goes back and forth to sales manager thing. I told him that the last five or six new cars that I bought was over the internet.I started searching for a 2020 RAV 4 Hybrid. The online Toyota app allowed me to get quotes from other dealers. The best quote was from Fresno, 150 miles away. I sent the quote to the sales manager and got a price that was MSRP less $’s. We went to get the vehicle and there the process bogged down. Even though I told them that we were coming in, they were not ready with the paperwork.When we finally got in to see the Finance guy the decisions began. Extended warranty? Total vehicle coverage? Ceramic coat the paint? Etc. I ended up getting the extended bumper to bumper warranty which I usually never do. The RAV4 Hybrid has so many sensors, motors, batteries etc. that I just did not want to be taking it in to the dealer and paying big bucks for repairs.On regular cars I can fix most everything. On this one I would not know where to start. I was able to negotiate price on the warranties so that helped. I ended up paying more that my target price, but my wife ( it’s her car) can just drop it off, take the van home and get anything taken car of.We love the vehicle and the hybrid system.
Good services. Good dealer if you have a great credit. If you dont then dont bother going. Especial if you cant make the payments.

Wasnt intending on coming here until our way home the oil pressure light came on on our Toyota Tundra. We pulled off freeway in the middle of all the dealerships while my husband checked to oil. A super nice gentleman driving by in the Toyota shuttle pulled over and had us follow him to the dealership when he was just driving by and got us right in to the service department to have it diagnosed! This place has really changed. The only reason I still go is because the advisors are terrific! Letty and Ivan are amazing at what they do and are extremely kind, every time I go they remember me and greet me by my name. They lack at the sales floor where I hardly ever see a salesman. The parts department is great but the cashiers are rude, every time I go there is a new face except for two receptionist who have been there for some time are very rude every time I am there.

This is my 6th new car that I bought and it is the best experience that I have had. The salesperson is the best compare to all of the bay area dealers that I went to. I live in San Jose and drive to Salinas just to get a car from this dealer. I even recommended my cousin to the dealer and salesperson. Because of their patience and excellent services, I would always come back to this dealer and recommended to all that ask about my new car. I have the BEST experience. I just bought a Honda Insight hybrid a few months ago and wish I have bought it at this dealer. This dealer made my day. I really enjoy my car and buying experience.
The car and the deal was fine. The time of purchase the finance center was very understaffed. Then my car had no license plate. None under. So I called the staff... After 3 phone calls, I was connected and sent to a voice mail. Overall it took another 3 visits to the dealership to get something as simple as a license plate for my car. Not the best experience.
