Iris Piercing Studio gave me the best experience I could imagine.The professional, friendly, and personable experts I worked with were incredible. As a person who has only had basic ear piercings, I was incredibly happy with the entire experience—before, during, and after.The degree to which the entire studio took safety precautions and COVID safety regulations seriously was incredibly professional yet gracious and kind.Chelsie’s assistance in determining the piece I would be happiest with and all the extra help and services she provided made me feel at home.I didn’t feel pushed towards any pricier options, only the details and differences between my considerations. Chelsie provided fantastic help especially with first time nostril piercing recommendations. I also want to thank her for her patience with my back-and-forth indecision and how accommodating she was.Carlos was not only excellent in determining, recommending, and making sure I had the exact location I would be happiest with.Carlos also answered all my questions and more—both as a professional and treated me like we were good friends. The process was explained before and during the piercing. I also felt the aftercare conversation and the most important details were easy to understand and equally as friendly. An amazing experience with Carlos, altogether.Overall, I know exactly where I will be going for any body modification, assistance, and anything else from now on—altogether, they’re absolutely worth at least a 25% - 30% tip, minimum.

If you are wanting a piercing go here! I got my nose pierced here and the employees up front were so helpful with helping me choose the right jewelry and when I told them I work at a hospital they took the time to help me find jewelry that would work the best with wearing a mask all day every day. The person who did the piercing was just as great, the piercing didn’t hurt at all, and everyone was so helpful with teaching me all I need to know about the healing process. Amazing!

I had such a great piercing experience here! Everyone was so nice, professional and really knew what they were doing. Drew helped me pick out beautiful pieces and talked me through the process and Sam is an EXPERT at their craft! Sam talked me through each piercing I got, the heal time, and how she was going to pierce for each piece. I highly recommend them! They’ll also shorten the jewelry for you and explained what a good fit is (and here’s me needing to go in and adjust all of my other pieces due to my lack of this info). 10/10 experience! Worth the higher price tag for an elevated experience.

Ive been going to Iris for years now because Sam, Carlos, Bailee & Chelsie are some of the most skilled piercers Ive ever had the good fortune to get pierced by. Ive had work done by all 4 & they truly know their craft inside & out. Sam and Carlos did marvelous work with my paired low & high nostrils. They are symmetrical, level, even, and look just perfect on my very asymmetrical nose. Ive also had below-the-belt work done at Iris and greatly appreciated the professionalism, skill, and respect I was given.Most importantly, the piercers at Iris have particularly good bedside manner. They set a very calm atmosphere prior to any work being performed & thoroughly explain the process before anything happens. Then, they gently talk/guide you through as the piercing is being performed. It sounds clinical, but they do it in such a friendly, welcoming manner that it feels just like catching up with a friend you havent seen in a while.On the front end, Cristina & Chelsie are jewelry geniuses. They both have an amazing eye & extensive knowledge of designers catalogs & how to find really unique and stunning pieces. Theyre incredible at recommending jewelry that will complement your look, stand out in your desired placement, and work within your budget.I dont know what my next piercing will be, but I know Ill definitely be getting it at Iris. Its rare to find a shop that has this many highly skilled piercers & gallery curators with such detailed jewelry expertise. I love Iris! Ive gotten three piercings from them this year: a flat, helix, and nostril. Each one was extremely fast and as painless as a needle stabbing through your body can be. A bit pricier than other piercers Ive been to in SLC, but they do a great job. Everyone on the staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable as well. Ive received 5 non-ear lobe piercings from other clinics, and Iris is definitely at the top for quality.

I’ve gotten multiple piercings at Iris and every time I go in, they are so helpful and professional. They have such beautiful well priced jewelry and will offer to switch out your jewelry for you for free if you’re nervous about it. Cristina is so helpful and has such a kind demeanor which gives me comfort in choosing my jewelry and placements of piercings.

I have never been disappointed with Iris, they do such an amazing job! The stuff is so friendly and they go out of their way to compare and explain jewelry for your specific skin tone, and body features to help you accomplish the beautiful look your going for. The piercers and honest, knowledgeable, and really look out for you as the customer (I have eyelash extensions and my piercer went out of his way to ensure tears wouldn’t ruin them since I pierced my nose). This was not the first nor the last time I was pierced at Iris. I am a nurse and they work with sterile technique I see at the hospital, they are so clean and meticulous. They have done amazing at making me feel safe during the pandemic while in their studio. Everyone that works there is always so professional and kind! Amazing jewelry selection. Worth every penny!

I had a wonderful experience at iris today! Booking online was seamless. When I walked in, I was candid about my price range for jewelry, and Drew and Kayla helped me pick the perfect piece that was right in my budget (while still being high-quality) Other piercing shops have made me feel pressured to buy expensive jewelry that was out of my price range, so my experience here was refreshing. Carlos did my piercing and he was incredibly patient, calming, and professional. He walked me through and explained every step which put me at total ease. Can’t say enough good things about this shop.

By far the nicest staff I’ve ever met in a piercing studio. I’m always a little anxious before getting a piercing done and not once while I was there did I feel uncomfortable or out of place. This is THE place to go for piercings. They did my nose. Absolutely incredible and knowledgeable staff. They made me feel so comfortable. Extremely sterile, so I felt at ease. They were super quick too. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

My piercing placement wasn’t where I wanted it to be due to having the same piercing done on my other ear but I’m sure the placement will grow on me with time. Samantha was very professional and thorough with explaining the process of everything. She was very in depth about the preparation as well as letting me know everything about the aftercare of it. I am not a fan of needles whatsoever, but she made me feel very comfortable and calm before the actual piercing.

Iris is a well established studio with high quality pieces of jewelry that takes its work & clients seriously. The piercers & employees are very thorough, take their time with you making selections & make sure that you have all of the information & supplies necessary to fully heal & maintain healthy, beautiful, & well placed piercings.Due to covid combined with the nature of the industry, masks are required at all time with the exception of piercing that would reside under a mask. Sanitation is complete & visible to clients.

Carlos was my piercer and he was so great. Super nice and relaxed, and made me feel comfortable getting my nose pierced. Ive gotten 3 piercings at IRIS and I will never go anywhere else. The piercings heal well, the jewelry is great quality (none of that cubic zirconium that causes so many allergic reactions) and the piercers know what theyre doing. You may think you could get the same piercing at Claires for cheaper, but trust me - if you want it to heal well, and you want it done by an actual professional, I highly recommend IRIS. Well worth the money!

I can’t recommend him enough~Iris is definitely a high end shop—you can tell it’s not going to be a cheap-o process when you walk in, so definitely be prepared to shell out some $$ for nice jewelry if they can’t pierce you with your own due to the material and/or size. My visit + tip was about $230 for reference. You get what you pay for: a lovely experience with great staff and a cool selection of high quality jewelry. I’m very happy with my piercings and am really excited to go back for new additions!

I came in for a navel piercing but after the anatomy check by all three piercers I was told it was not a good idea. I loved it because they explained to me why and it made a lot of sense. I instead got a daith and earlobe piercing and it looks amazing! I had a second earlobe piercing done back when I was 18 at Clair’s 🙃 I explained how I hated the spacing and wanted to try to fix how it looked. We did a third earlobe piercing on the ear and made it a cute cluster! My daith just looks awesome and is something I wanted for a while. I got pierced by Bailee. She is a piercer in training. She was supervised by an experienced piercer and the whole experience was so amazing. I felt confident in her skills and I’ll definitely go back to her! She was determined to still have me love my piercings even if I didn’t get what I originally wanted to. The studio is beautiful and clean and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. That makes getting pierced so much less scary 🥰 The jewelry is on the more expensive side but that is because they don’t sell cheap metals. That’s perfect for me because my body rejects piercings with cheap medals and infections aren’t fun. I know when I go in, no matter what I pick it will be great quality.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! The first woman I spoke to at the front desk was cordial- but the next two women seriously made me feel like the scum of the earth. They spoke SO rudely to me and brought tears to my eyes. I made an appointment, drove an hour, paid a deposit- all to be spoken to so unbelievably rudely. I’m honestly still in shock. DO NOT COME HERE.
