Awesome service! I called to see if they could patch my tire I found a nail in it …they told me to come right in they had it patched in under 15 minutes no appointment, awesome service this is my second dealing with this business and they’ve been great both time!

I just went there for an oil change for my rental. They have an account with Enterprise so I never intended to have to pay. I noticed the vehicle was just sitting there. And sitting there. They had me waiting for Enterprise to authorize the payment. That was between Them and Enterprise. Next time let the renters leave. That cost me at my Drs appt because I showed up Late because of Them.

Had a flat tire and came to either get it fixed or changed. After telling Brian C. that I had used fix-a-flat, he told me that it was not possible to repair after using that product. I was sceptical but decided to get the tire changed anyway. Everyone was extremely nice and I was out of there in 30 min. I then called and asked several other tire shops if they could repair a tire that had fix-a-flat in it and they all said it was possible but would take longer to do since they had to clean the tire. I honestly hate being lied to and had it not been for this I wouldve returned in the future. If they lie about small things, how am I to trust their word for big issues?

I went to this location for an oil change with no appointment They had me in and out in a decent time frame, The manager (David) was very welcoming and helpful. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything or felt like I was being overcharged.. Best customer service experience I’ve had at an automotive shop. I would definitely go back to service my car.

Called Friday to bring in a boat trailer to get the wheel bearings repacked. Assistant manager asked me to bring the trailer in on Monday and setup an appointment. Arrived 10 minutes before appointment. Was meet by store manager. Was told they were busy and he would not honor the appointment. Asked if all the others had appointments and was told they didn’t but he would still work on those vehicles before mine because they arrived first. Offered to leave my trailer for two days and he said he still couldn’t get to it. Asked if there was a problem working on a boat trailer. He said no, they were just busy. What use is it to have an appointment if Pepboys won’t honor it. Contacted Pepboys home office three times asking for a call back. Never received a call. Later I was told the store manager was the owner. I guess that means Pepboys can’t do anything about the poor service at this store. If I could give a negative number of stars I would. Can not recommend this store.Follow-up: The store added this response to my review.“We appreciate the 5 star rating!! Thank you for your business. We’re happy to deliver a great experience for you!”Either they never took the time to read the review or worse they’re being sarcastic with a customer who had a bad experience at their business. Neither of which is an appropriate response to a customer. Both indicate they don’t care and should raise a red flag when considering whether or not to take your car here for repairs.

I had a great experience at this location. The staff was friendly and fast. I would definitely go back here again and recommend to others.

Came here for a noise I was hearing they inspected my vehicle the price They quoted to fix the problem was extremely high . I got it done right down the street for $565 less . The staff here was friendly. I will try this place again in the future and hopefully get a better result for pricing . The manager at the counter is military so he’s got a real type A personality, which I can deal with because I like straightforward People no BS . It is a nice shop well clean and it looks like they know what they’re doing only reason why I did not have worked on was because of the pricing was expensive 💰 💴 💴. $500 in parts and almost $900 in labor 😳😳😳 WOW 😳

Careful, They will charge for parts an astronomical price. Replaced front shocks and was charged $400+ for two shocks, not including labor. Same shocks cost no more then $70 -$80per shock. Lesson learned!

Im not sure what happened to this place. It used to be good and I took all my service here, but today a particular staff member was so rude when I came in for service that I will never take any of my vehicles back!

I had tires delivered here from Tire Rack. When i called this Pep Boys, where my tires were set to be delivered and installed, David did not allow me to schedule an appointment and told me that they would be able to install the tires when I showed up because theyre not too busy. I told them that I was driving across I-10 to bring the car back to FL from San Antonio and that time was essential. When I arrived at 3 pm, they told me they could not install the tires until the next morning at 8 a.m. Further, I heard someone in the shop say something about an appointment that had canceled as I was conversing with David, who had promised me I didnt need an appointment. I was misled, lied to, and had my time wasted by this Pep Boys.

Brought vehicle in and left it there for a specific service. Came back 2 hours later to see that more than what I asked for was done and I was charged for all of it. Regardless of everything else I feel that is bad business practice.

I have been a costumer of Pep Boys located in the Hwy 281over 3 years now, and I always had a great experience with everyone especially Rodny the manager. Today I went for an oil change and David attended me. He was very rough and, I dont feel comfortable with his unfriendly and usafe (he doesnt wear mask) actitud. He told me that if I want something fast I can go to another place, and thats what I did. I went to brake check and it was awesome everyone was very kind and friendly.

The customer service is great. I went in for an oil change but they noticed there was something else wrong so they took care of as well.. If you want a real honest just put ffpr your money type of service go here...

Awesome place! No BS mechanics with one great quality: honesty! Brought them a car with an estimate from Midas (down the road) for $2800. T hey have looked at the car, pulled me in and actually showed how the estimate was wrong. The actual cost of required repairs came out to less than $400!!! Cannot be happier with this shop and their awesome crew! Highly recommend!!!!

Stopped to buy parts and everything went well. Person was very knowledgeable. What impressed me more then the service I got was that when a lady walked in to buy something they were very respectful and were giving her good advice. If my sister or wife walked in I’d feel that she would be well treated.

My truck was in its last leg with the battery and they had one and we’re able to change it out in less than an hour on a Saturday.

Website advertised State Inspection, but they do not do them. Don’t waste your time going there.

Came in just before closing on a Friday evening...no hesitation...they were closing out the register..stopped everything smiled and said Yes sir we repair tires. I apologized profusely for the timing...still No problem is all they said.Repaired the tire, balanced it, and took the time to explain how their plugs work compared to others. Stopped in just after 6pm on a Friday, it was an absolute necessity I had tires put on, probably wouldnt have made it home. Work was done in 50 minutes. I got a GREAT deal as I believe I caught a holiday special. But beyond that, every single tech was friendly and professional. Veronica has that place operating on point! I spoke with her for a while and she also helped me with info on my check engine light. No high pressure sales or nonsense going on at this location. They just earned a new customer-complete trust Ill be heading there for everything they do from here on out. Pound for pound one of the best experiences in life let alone from a random mechanic shop.

This shop saved my life. I made a huge mistake of putting too much air into my tires and stopped by the shop to see what caused the imbalance in the car. Despite being late at night, Abby one of the employees was very kind and patient. She took the time to explain what went wrong and how to correct the mistakes next time. After 15 minutes of deflating efforts (past her work time), Abby put up a great smile and did not collect a dime.

I purchased a set of used wheels and tires after the original ones were stolen. There was a bad vibration at highway speeds. I stopped by this location to get the tires balanced. Two hours later they were done. I drove home to find the vibration was better but not gone. I checked my wheels to find the inside wheel weights had been removed. There was only weights on one side of the wheel, which were held in place with duct tape. A check on the internet explained the difference between a static balance, weights on only one side, and a dynamic balance with weights on both sides. They had basically done half the job I paid for. I took the truck back and now being told my wheels are bent. Thankfully it was only a wheel balance to find out their quality of work. Obviously won’t be returning.

Needed an alignment after installing new rims and tires on my Toyota Tundra. Pep Boys has a user friendly website, I was able to make an appointment on line a day in advance and my truck was brought in at the appointed time. Service was excellent! Reviewed with me adjustments made, reviewed the lifetime warranty and didn’t try to up-sale me services I didn’t need or wanted. I’ll be back as a customer.

Gunn Nissan said my car needed brake fluid flush. But the price was too high. So I brought my car to Pep Boys and John tested my brake fluid using a testing strip. Turns out, everything is fine and my car doesnt need it right now. They didnt even charge me for the service. They just earned a customer for life with their amazing service and honesty!

Very positive experience with this Pep Boys last week. They were able to get my truck in and diagnose the issue professionally without guessing. Repair was done quick (on a Sunday), and I will definitely be back.

I have had great experiences with this location the last few times I have taken my car in to be serviced. The staff was professional and friendly and I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the store, especially the restrooms. I was in-and-out much faster than I expected. Jason and his crew did an excellent brake job on my 2012 F150! They provided excellent customer service, and advised me along the way. The difference in braking performance was clearly evident when I drove home after the work was performed. No issues whatsoever here!

Dont judge a book by its cover. This place is small and on the outskirts of town, but they are super friendly, professional and helpful. I called on a whim to get an oil change because they are close to home. He said it wasnt too late, that he had a coupon for me. Service was fast with no up sell.

Hit a pot hole and popped my front, right tire. Googled the nearest tire shop and my goodness I am SO greatful to have been close enough to come here. They took maybe 30 minutes to replace the tire and gave me the lowest price possible. Ronnie definitely knows her stuff and exceeds many levels of customer service. She, along with another employee, were so incredibly friendly, honest, and just helpful in general. Cannot explain how greatful I am for these amazing employees and the rest of their crew. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone for all auto service needs. You wont regret it.

I came here to get one of my tires fixed. The tire wasn’t flat but air was leaking because of a nail. I got there around 7:30am and left at 9:15am or so. I asked to rotate my tires and to check pressure in the other three tires. This adventure cost me $12 but I was initially quoted $22. I guess oil changes is the service where they make their money, since I was quoted over $90 for a 2L Turbo 4 cylinder engine that needs a synthetic oil.

I wish I could 0 stars. I walked in to inquire about the cost of an AC Charge on a 2007 Pilot. I was told I would need to make an appointment which I did not have a problem with, but I was quoted $263.00 for an evacuation and recharge. This is twice the price of Honda and any other reputable repair shop. I went to Car Pro a few miles away and it was completed with a couple of schraedor valves for $135.00. At the price Pep Boys wants I would steer clear.

Wanted an alternator replaced on a 2007 jeep compass I brought the part and they installed it. It took them about 3 hours wasnt easy to get to it as Chrysler did not leave much room to reach it...but the labor was reasonable and John the master mechanic was very good.

Called and asked if they could handle repair so not to waste both parties time. I fully disclosed what was going on and what I needed to have done ( exhaust collector gasket blew out). just 6 bolts pull Y pipe down and replace. Pretty simple fix. Figured by the time I went bought tools and found a place to repair, I could pay the same amount for a shop to complete repair. (Living in apartment and tools are buried in storage). This place wasted my whole day to tell me they would not work on the exhaust because the bolts where rusty. Not one ounce of effort was put it to fix my vehicle. A bunch of amateur mechanics.

I had originally left an outstanding review for this store, but I wish I could rescind it. They seem nice enough and knowledgeable up front, but I wouldnt trust them with anything more than an oil change anymore. Had to go back and pay for multiple alignments and they could not get it right. Luckily when I showed up for ANOTHER alignment, they sent me to another store because their alignment rack was broken. And wouldnt ya know, they got it right the first time!Dont waste your time or money here. If you go to a Pep Boys, do yourself a favor and go to the one on Thousand Oaks. I cannot say enough how dissatisfied I am with this shop (if you can even call it that). I wont go into details, but after multiple trips to this dump, and over $1000 in parts and labor later, they still had my front end jacked up.

Very honest mechanics and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I care in for brakes expecting to pay about 300 plus because the noise was that bad. Came in and just told me I needed a clean and adjust and the price was a fraction of what I expected. This is my new go to place for automotive care. Thanks guys

I brought my car in because a car parts place told me the alternator part was bad. Pep boys tested my car and showed me it was a bad battery. Put me in touch with the car parts store who replaced my battery which was under warranty. Great guys, honest people and consumer advocates! Will return for my next service!

Went in for front axle u-joints, both front hubs need to pulled off to replace u-joints. Get home and find only 3 of 4 bolts put back in passenger side hub and one was only finger tight! Basically only 2 bolts holding front passenger hub on the truck and let me leave like that. Needless to say nothing was torqued to spec had to check all work done myself and torque accordingly. Not impressed and they threw in a miscellaneous shop fee on top. People are nice but work is sub par.

This place almost worked on my car with the intention of charching me nearly 1000 dollars. Knowing nothing about cars, I almost took my car in for the work. Thankfully I went somewhere else and found out that there was nothing on the list of work that they were going to do that I needed to have done aside from a general tune up. I was very disappointed that they so comfortably put a cash grab over customer service

Pep boys in spring branch is great. They know their work. The pep boys on san pedro, I would not go there again. they missed so much, which later caused high priced repairs. They missed front end damaged parts which almost caused an accident.We spent almost 5 000. Dollars and didnt get repaired what really needed to be repaired.

John and Zach helped me greatly. Soent about 2.5 hours there but they confirmed a weak mount I have been suspecting for months and YourMecha ic has refused to replace it. Got new rotors and pads on the front. Great folks.

I am happy I was able to have Pepboys work on my car. My two star rating is for the following reason: I had grease on the inside of the car, the plastic trim on the outside was damaged, I was told to buy a popsicle with white gloves. I am happy Pepboys is their when I need them; thank you for your services.

Very honest staff. Brought my wifes VW Jetta in for an alignment and the steering wheel was a bit off center. They were unable to do the alignment, but got it in to spec as much as possible(with out dropping the subframe), also were able to get the wheel back to center. All the work they did, they did as a courtesy, didnt charge me for anything. It would have been very easy for them to charge me for the alignment and just say this is as close as we can get it. Will defiantly bring the car back for any future needed repairs.

Great service today i waited 20 minutes for an oil change.The guys were nice.I will return.

Spoke with the shop on the phone about have struts and ucas replaced. I was told that the shop could perform the work. I arrived in the shop and spoke to the girl at the counter who couldnt find pricing for the work in the computer. Then a mechanic came from the back and started explaining how i would need extended spindles and extended break hoses. After hearing him profess this incorrect information. He then went on to tell me that he performed similar work on his own vehicles causing damage. I left and went accross the highway to bring your own parts they were friendly, professional, and exceeded expectations on performing the work quickly. I will not be using pepboys anymore however i hope that someone delivers this feedback and cleans this shop up before they go out of business.
