Absolute trash service! Took my Tacoma in to get a battery assessment. Got home and noticed a large dent/scratch on the tailgate. Checked my dash cam footage (it turns on automatically when the vehicle is started) and the attendant backed it up into a different 4runner. Even caught the guy admitting it on the audio, and they never bothered to tell me. Had to reach out directly to them to address the issue!

I would give Alamo Toyota’s lower rating if it was possible. Spent 2 hours of my day waiting for my vehicle to be serviced only to realize that my car sat in the parking lot the entire time. Meanwhile, the rep helping me said they were “working on it.” Do not waste your time here.

It’s a shame. We are long time Alamo Toyota customers, over 20 years. They have lost their customer service. They try to oversell services and accessories that we don’t want or need. Sad. The service advisors do not seem have the experience needed to assist their customers. We hope they are able make the necessary changes to correct their customer service to keep their new and old customers.

I have purchased 2 truck from here and my most recent one is a 2016 CrewMax Tundra. Roy Sipes made our purchase smooth but not so easy for him LOL. Alamo Toyota has been easy to work with even through a few set backs on their end but without a headache they made things right. I plan on buying my 2022 CREWMAX TRD FROM THEM just because the service I have recieved has been great.

Brought my car in for an oil change, 3 recalls and had new tires put on. When picked up vehicle, the front end was pulled off and bottom of front end lining was hanging on the street. I told the service rep, what happened, he says oh it wasn’t like that? I said NO! I had to ask him to take vehicle back and tack or fix the lining that was hanging, and to snap my front end back on. when you come back the lining part was tact but front and was still hanging. He says did it not come in like that I said NO again. He said I will have to talk to my manager and they will have to check the cameras I said that is awesome that y’all have cameras. It’s going on two weeks I have heard from nobody! Do not take your car there.

Took my 2019 Tundra because I was having battery problems, they said the battery needed to be replaced and the terminal connectors had to be changed out immediately because they could break at any moment. Got a quote of over 230 for the battery & 50 for labor & over 200 for the terminal connectors Total over $500 / went across the highway to Costco and had them give me a second opinion & they determined the connectors were in perfect shape and the battery was changed out for a total of $105.00 / I will never do business with Alamo Toyota. They assume that the customer is naive and stupid and will automatically fall for their scams. Im aware not everyones experience is the same but when you go to a dealer you’ve bought several vehicles from for years, and had them serviced its extremely disappointing to be taken advantage of, Alamo Toyota has lost a very good client.

Ive been taking my car to be serviced here for years and it was great customer service and long hours. The last 4 times I took my car they forgot to minor things that needed to be checked. So I finally decided to go somewhere else. There they found oil and air filters NOT replaced and a plastic oil filter when metal is what is required for my vehicle. It was over-torched and needed to be broken out. Just wanted to share my experiences. Thanks.

We had a overall negative experience with Alamo Toyota the are two things the really prevent us from leaving a good review are the fact that the car we told we were getting was not the one y’all actually had the one y’all had was $5,000 more and the price y’all sold us the car at was higher that the price on the window tag (by ~$3,000) y’all left in the glove box. We didn’t find out it wasn’t the car or price we were expected until we had been at your dealership for 3 hours and ready to sign the finials paperwork it definitely left a bitter taste in our mouth. The sales team we worked with knew that we were in a time crunch and it feels like the took advantage of that. The only saving grace of the experience was Caleb who was great to work with.

Ive always loved the durability of Toyota vehicles. These cars can go way past the 100k mileage with little problems as long as you keep up with servicing them. Which is why we love dealing with this dealership. Jesse Saenz at Used auto is patient, helpful, never pushy or overly aggressive with his sales. He have purchased two vehicles with him and he always want to ensure that our satisfaction with what we are purchasing is at the top of his sales priority. I have been dealing with this dealership for about nine years and will only go there for purchases and maintenance. The only drawback to this place is that if you purchase a used vehicle that is not Toyota (I purchased a Dodge Journey) you will have to take it elsewhere for maintenance, because their mechanics wont service those. Otherwise, ask for Sean at service if you need to take your car for maintenance. He is always on top of checking our warranty status, listens to our needs, and is patient with any questions or concerns we may have. He doesnt treat his clients like numbers. In fact, he never forgets that Im the lady who paid up to $6000 to keep my Sienna running, because I loved it so much and didnt want to settle for a smaller car, lol. Anyway, I highly recommend them!

I’ve come here multiple times only to be disappointed with each visit. The first time my brand new car had the inflation light come on. Less than 5k miles. I brought it in and the service department found nothing wrong. All 4 tires I later read in the manual were 5 psi under recommended amount. I should have figured it out on my own but then so should the mechanic. Next time on my wife’s different new car the stereo stopped working. I brought it in and the service desk guy said they would order the part but never did. I called back 2 weeks later and spoke to a different service clerk and it was finally ordered and installed, not a professional installation job. Ive seen better in high school kids with aftermarket jobs. It should be flush all around. The last time the took out the cabin air filter for inspection and when I opened the glovebox the plastic plugs that hold it together fell out. I should have learned the first or second time. I have definitely learned the third time. Any recommendations on a better dealership for service?

DONT GO HERE TO BUY OR SERVICEFrom the very beginning I was given a lady who literally knew nothing about my car. Any question I asked her it was oh I’m not sure, or any weird noises I pointed out she said oh you just have better hearing than me. I spent 8 hours going back and forth they hard pulled my credit three separate times, I walked in with a 650 and left with a 600. THEN they used the 600 score instead of the first one that was 650. I added an extended warranty for an extra 50 bucks a month which was fine but I put 7500 down for a supposed 22000 dollar car and then they told me oh well your warranty took 4K away even though I’m paying extra a month. So it really seem they just took that down payment and ran. And that was just the buying process, now let’s talk about the services. I go to universal Toyota for all my services, here’s why. When I bought my car I asked how much each oil change cost and they service manager at Alamo told me 70 bucks every 10k miles. When I go to do my oil change, they say oh it’s actually a 120 dollars an oil change, when I told them what I was told they said they would drop it to 100 dollars. Which makes me feel like I have to negotiate for an oil change! And then when they call me back to tell me my cars down they say you need to do a mandatory engine clean out to keep my car running right that cost a couple hundred dollar. Why does a 2 year old cars engine need to be clean?? And then they said they have to do an AC refresh? For another 100. So my basic $70 service was gonna be close to 400. I only did they engine to keep my warranty. I went to universal Toyota and they said they never heard about engine clean out or ac refresh unless someone specifically asks and oil changes were only $70 there! Go to UNIVERSAL CITY don’t waste your time here.

Had a questionable experience yesterday with a closed-end lease agreement where they never reviewed how the monthly payment was calculated. Looks like they increased the value of the vehicle and reduced the yearly mileage to 10k instead of 12k. Will be reviewing it with them tomorrow in hope they handle this appropriately!

I had a great experience when I decided to purchase my wife her new 2021 Tacoma, I actually live in Katy, TX but another customer of Caleb Lee told me to call him, Caleb was very personal and before I decided to drive 150 mile to San Antonio, I search for same truck deals in Houston and drove to 5 other dealer but Caleb was the most professional and honest of all of them. He treated me with respect and listen to my concerns and he told me he would not want to me to drive all the way to San Antonio if it is not worth for me. I am very impressed by his professionalism and how personal he was when we drove to San Antonio. I think my next Truck will be from Alamo as well even though I will have to drive 2 hrs one to get there but I know Caleb should be able to help me out like he did for my wife’s Tacoma.

Service was great, little slow for an oil change. My comments are really on price. The recommendations were to replace cabin air filter and clean battery connector. This is when great service can then make you lose a star. A cabin filter is average $15-$20, they want to charge $44 for that replacement. Also to clean a battery connector they wanted ro charge $60, this looks a little outrageous taking in consideration that both can be done in less than 10 minutes. This is why YouTube is destroying the service department.

I am very disappointed with my visit today. I was promised by Oscar Salas and Stephen that a deal would be made. Even with a $20,000 trade in offer, the only things I was offered was a higher payment or a third payment with a third car. Roy Sipes sent me an email with an offer to sell me a car for $18,626. However, once I arrived, Roy and the sales team lied to me about the price of the car and gave me a new price of over $25,000. Only when confronted with the email from Roy did the sales team come down on the price. I have a text from Oscar Salas guaranteeing that I would be driving home in a new car. I walked away after being disappointed by the bad faith sales actors, especially since I had to drive 2 hours back and forth. This long drive was known to the bad faith sales team and yet they still failed to make an acceptable offer. The final offer before I walked away was close but not enough. I believe a deal can still be made. One final note. While I was there, the sales team was having a meeting. While I could not hear everything, I could hear something about that last month (April) was a good month. A deal can be made but only if the bad faith sales team actually wants to make a deal.

My husband,7yrs old son and I came in just to look. We were greeted by Felipe Soto. He showed us around without any pressure. He would interact with all 3. We decided to take a drive on a highlander and loved it! He explained all the features and details. He is a very honest and kind Salesman. I love to look around without pressure and he did exactly what I like. He gave my husband and I some time alone to decide. While getting paper work ready he showed my son the way to the play area, where I was able to keep an eye on him. He even showed us how to program the voice command. I truly recommend Felipe Soto.

Terrance was awesome. He was knowledgeable and personable. We had a great experience with Terrance. If he worked for another dealership I would ask for him in person.However, we were less impressed with the dealership. The online price of the car and the price in person were different because of an “appearance package” which was added to the car upon arriving to the dealership. This package consisted of 2 tinted windows and a clear bra on the front of the car and was going to be an additional $2000. I felt like the dealership was trying to take from us. I bought my car from Alamo Toyota because they had the car I wanted but next time I will buy from Carvana instead and avoid the unwanted, expensive add-ons.

The service rep did not tell me there was a deductible for one of my repairs. It took me 6 hours staying in the dealership to wait for things to be done. After I found out that the price I paid were not correct, the service rep just explained that there was a deductible (I was told that the repair was under warranty and free of charge) and gave me a future car detail for compensation. I dont mind pay for the service that dealer provide but the way they doing business is not acceptable, BE AWARE! For that car detail thing, I dont think I would go back for it and wait for another 6 hours there...

Will NEVER return. Despite multiple signs posted on the entrances and other walls in and around the service area, a customer without a mask was allowed to sit in the waiting room. Several employees spoke to the unmasked man, yet he was not offered a mask, or requested to sit away from the other masked customers (if he had an ADA reason not to mask). This indicates to me a callous disregard by Alamo Toyota for my safety and the safety of their employees. Further, my multipoint inspection was a blatant attempt to run up the bill. A front end alignment was recommended, despite no indication of uneven tire wear. If fact, the tires were installed less than 3 months ago and the alignment was fine. Then your company wanted nearly $60 for windshield wipers, which is grossly overpriced. Your technician showed the in-cabin air filter, which according to him, needed to be replaced because it was grey, when in fact, this air filter was replaced less than 3 months ago with one that had activated charcoal (hence the grey color). Additionally, I receive numerous push notifications for the dealership to appraise my vehicle. No thanks.

Alamo Toyota runs a ooor service department.Eveytime i took my car there to be serviced, i have had to wait and wait for someone to giveMe the time of day.I went in last Saturday and after 15 minutes I wandered inside and found three schlepts who miraculously gave a darn when i expressed my irritation at their laziness.Attitudes like that start at the top. It wouldnt exist if the leadership of the dealership had cusomer satisfaction and retention as priorities.I am sure when asked they would give these notions lip service but the proof is in the day to day treatment of customers.I bought 2 cars on lease at this dealership in Oct 2019. The leases on both are up in Oct 2022. Needless to say, but I wont be buying the replacement vehicles from Alamo Toyota.

Purchased a supposed certified used vehicle with a comprehensive inspection for a road trip ( car purchased at 54,000 miles) . On our first road trip at 56000 miles we found ourselves on the side of the road. After $400 on battery and tow, we found out it was the starter. Per the Toyota dealership we took it to, it was an aftermarket starter that was put in poorly. During the sale they talk about how great the warranty is since their inspection is so great. Yeah no $800 more dollars later dealership and warranty covered nothing. Do NOT PURCHASE from this lot. The GM is rude unprofessional and does not care for his customers and obviously ghetto Riggs the vehicles so they can be purchased. Lesson learned if you do purchase from here please do not listen to the lies presented by the sales team.

I specifically asked for an oil change and scheduled a week in advance. I brought my 2021 Sienna in and was greeted and asked what I needed. I again stated that I came in for my scheduled oil change, he confirmed my visit took the key and mentioned that they were very busy and despite me scheduling an appointment for 10:30 am I would have to wait at least until the late afternoon to get my vehicle back. Reluctantly I agreed and was shuttled back to my house. Around 4:30 pm I finally received a phone call informing me my vehicle was ready. I went inside picked up my key and a report. When I arrived home and reviewed the report I was shocked to find out that an oil change was not performed. I called and was informed that an oil change would not be performed until my vehicle reached 10k miles. I can’t believe they didn’t inform me of this before I dropped the vehicle off, I was very clear when I stated I wanted an oil change, they held my vehicle for over six hours and did nothing.

DO NOT USE THEIR MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT.Short version: Alamo Toyota damaged my wheels, threw away my aftermarket wheel locks, replaced them with Toyota wheel locks. They made no effort to tell me about the damage or parts replacement. They also managed to get a wheel severely out of balance during the rotation. After contacting them, they offered to recoat the wheels and order new wheel locks. They painted the damaged portion of the wheel, but it’s still obvious that the wheel had been damaged. After waiting for over two weeks, they forgot to order my replacement parts.Long version: I took my 2017 Tacoma there for an oil change and tire rotation. The work was completed, and I drove the truck home(never getting above about 40mph, since I live very close).The next day, I load up the family and start driving to my parents house for fathers day. As soon as I get on the freeway, the truck feels like its going to shake itself apart. I slow down and park it at home until I can contact Alamo Toyota on Monday. Once Im home, I realize that all 4 wheels had been damaged with large chunks of paint missing from around the lugs, with several deep scratches in several places in the wheel. Then I realized that my aftermarket wheel locks had been replaced with factory Toyota wheel locks.Monday, I went in and spoke with the service manager. They were very polite, apologized, and said that they would make this right. They offered to have the wheels recoated, and would order the correct wheel locks to replace the Toyota locks. I let them do their inspections, and went home for the day, since I had already missed work for this. Later in the day, I called to check on the status, and inquired if I would need to get alternate transportation to work the next day. I was told that the vehicle was complete, so I got a ride back to Alamo Toyota.The wheels were repaired on site, and not recoated. They painted over the scratches, but it’s still obvious that the wheel is damaged. Okay, that’s fine, it’s not a show truck. I was told that the wheels were balanced, and that should take care of any vibration issues I was having. This was fixed, and I no longer have the severe vibration issues. I was told that the wheel locks were on order, and should be there the following day. I would be allowed to take the truck in the meantime, so that I would be able to drive to work. I was told that I would get a phone call when the locks arrived.Over 2 weeks later, no phone call. I stopped by the service center hoping to just pick up the locks and leave. After being shuffled around several people, I was told that no one had ordered my parts. I’ve lost all trust in Alamo Toyota.

We recently bought a used car here. Salesperson was completely unwilling to negotiate on price so fine, we agree to pay price listed online. When we got home, we realized we actually paid $1,000 MORE than the price listed online. We call, but its not like we took a snapshot of the online ad before we went in so its our word against theirs. Definitely our fault for not paying attention, but I think we can all agree that secretly trying to raise the price is pretty slimy behavior. I would recommend going to another dealership.

He paid attention to detail, took his time to explain things, and was very friendly and professional in the process. He made me feel that I could trust their service department to repair my 4Runner. Alam Toyota service is horrible. I had a reservation. I expected to be out in 45 minutes. It was over2 hours!!! The service advisor did not update me. He admited and his service manager that Islipped through the cracks! Nice !!!!!!!!!!! The attendent that brought me to the car was rude. The service manager was aloof. My sales rep that has sold me 2 cars. Assured me to go through him next time for my car needs servicing. My free car wash and vacuum of the interior does not impress or diffuse the bad service known at Alamo Toyota! Social media and I can cause effecting consequences for this horrible service to me by Alamo Toyota.

We couldnt have asked for more from Caleb in the Sales Department! This guy was over the top during our experience with buying a car. We asked politely to be left alone in the beginning of our shopping experience, so we could look around without the pressure of the typical sales guy. Caleb politely waited inside and we snagged him when we were ready to check out some cars. Throughout the process, he was super knowledgeable about the cars, the car buying process, and what options we had for different cars if we so chose. After test driving a few different cars, we settled in and were ready to make a deal. We haggled for several hours back and forth and just werent 100% settled in on the price at that point, and soon the dealership was closing. Caleb offered to even buy us dinner for our time. After a little more time of haggling, we finally settled in on a good deal and something that was fair for both parties (dealership and us). We locked in our deal and Caleb went to grab us dinner. We couldnt be happier with the price, the service, and the time we spent chatting with Caleb during our visit.Thanks again for a great experience Caleb!

I came for a simple oil change. My appointment was at 7pm. I got here at 6:45pm and when I asked on the status of my car at almost 8 pm, they said they were going to look into it. When the guy came back to me, he said they were barely going to service it. I told him the previous facts, and he just said they got backed up. I honestly think they forgot about me cause people came and went, but Im still here. Very disappointed with yet another Toyota dealer. Never again.

Called and spoke with someone in the service department and specifically asked what time was the latest to bring in a vehicle for a tire rotation today. I was told for a simple tire rotation 8 pm as we close at 9 pm.Drove almost an hour to get here arrived at 7:15. Then stood there another 15 minutes before anyone got up from their desk to come out and “assist” me. Was then told they had too many vehicles and could not take in mine.Why in the HELL would you tell a customer to bring in the vehicle by 8 pm if you already know you “have too many vehicles”!100% will never return and will give my business to Cavender or Red Mccombs.

Oil changes are fast, but they always overcharge. $78 dollars for a simple oil change. Last time I get an oil change here. Labor was twice as much as the parts. Ridiculous!! Why is it so hard to just get a decent price at your local dealership?

Last Saturday went there to buy a 2018 Land Rover Discovery with over 49.000 miles for $35.000 and all I asked is if we could have brand new tires because they were worn out.
