So, I don’t leave many Google Reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with Novak Motorsports in San Antonio, TX. I’d been shopping for a ‘13/14 GT500 and everyone knows what the car market is like right now. I located a 2014 GT500 on CarGurus and not only was it one of 2 colors I was looking for, it was a fully loaded (minus glass roof) Track Pack! While the price was not a “good” one, it certainly was not highly inflated and given this market, reasonable.Now for the real reason I am leaving this, I’ve purchased a lot of new/used vehicles in my life and not once have I ever had such an attentive/friendly salesperson. Skyler was absolutely amazing to deal with, “text me anytime” he stated and he meant it! He’d text me back usually under 5 minutes and even at night, when something would jump in my mind that I didn’t want to forget about.I live in NC and buying a car in TX without being able to go look at it was nerve racking! Skyler really helped make this process easier and I learned that you can hire people to inspect a car, just like you can your house. We hired Joe @ Peace of Mind Auto Inspections (who also did a great job, minus one detail I surely should’ve known about) but a friendly/attentive guy, who I’d also hire again.Now let’s talk about the delivery and after purchase. Whitney, who processes the paperwork is an extremely bubbly soul and very attentive in her duties. Even confirming things with me or my bank, prior to sending things. We had a difficult time dealing with NC and SECU’s requirements. The Shelby showed up in a very timely manner and on the day promised by Novak. The transport guy seemed to have cared for my car, as well as the Aston Martin that made the trip with my Shelby and as I previously stated, arrived on time. However, the jerk wouldn’t leave the Aston with me, lol.Now for the final chapter. Buying a car without looking at it is difficult to say the least, especially when you’ve been an OCD car guy all your life. Well, there was a couple things I wish would’ve been disclosed to me. I do not consider paint chips to be normal wear and not disclosed. Most importantly, the car was missing the Catalytic Convertors. Not an issue if you live in TX, but a very big deal in NC. Novak understood my frustration and Chris apologized for not catching it and advised they don’t have any Technicians, nor a repair facility on site to look under the car. However, he agreed to help me with some of the costs and some is definitely better than none.All in all, this was about as easy an experience as it could be, given we’re 1,200 miles apart and I would highly recommend this family-owned Dealership to others. Ok, so I have a problem, I buy too many cars. 12 cars in 8yrs. What that means is that I have been in a lot of dealerships, and from that comes experience dealing with sales people. Gave me very fair price on my CTS-V to put me in a newer Z06, and because I wasnt planning on taking home a different car than I arrived with, they were not pushy or shoving sales pitches at me. I work in the oil fields of west Texas where the prices of everything are outrageous. I found the perfect truck here on their website that already had all the upgrades I wanted to put on my next truck (easily $20k worth of add ons) but it was $10k less than a completely stock base model that’s same year out in my area. I called them and spoke with Tyler and wanted them to hold it for me until I could catch a plane to pick it up. He was probably the nicest salesman I’ve ever dealt with. Didn’t try to push anything on me. They had pictures of every inch of the truck online and he even took a video of a walk around inside and out and sent it to me. 2 days later when my plane landed Tyler picked me up from the airport and drove me to the dealership where I got to see the truck for the first time in person. It was spotless for being a 2014 model with extremely low miles. I drove it 8 hours back home and it’s my daily driver for past few months. Haven’t had any issues with it and it runs and drives like its brand new still. I can honestly say this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had and will only go to these guys for my future vehicles. If they don’t have what I want they will go out and find it for me.

First time purchaser from out of town. Spoke to them via phone about the car and they were great about answering my questions, understanding it was a few hour drive if I were to come see or buy the car. They even sent me videos of the car the same day.They were always very honest and accurate with information about the car I purchased. They have given me the same personalized treatment after the sale, answering questions, following up on status of license and registration, as they were before I gave them any money. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.

Bottom line -- if you cant see and drive the car in person, definitely get a PPI. I bought a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 coupe w/25k miles from Novak Motorcars in May. I live in CO, so the entire process happened remotely. I got a reasonable price on the car and did not get an inspection prior to purchase, deciding I would roll the dice based on Novaks reputation and their being upfront about the cosmetic issues on the car and throughly answering whatever questions I had. However I would strongly suggest that others get a PPI prior to making a purchase. The car arrived needing substantial suspension work (coilovers, front and rear sway bar links and bushings); a steering rack mount; fluid changes for the transmission, differential, radiator and brakes; and my mechanic strongly recommended replacing the intake hoses and oil cooler lines. The car also had rust from standing water in the clutch housing, and water in the clutch fluid from age. I had budgeted about $3k for wear/maintenance but spent $8k in repairs immediately after purchase. I still love the car, and as much as my Viper mechanic loves the business Im bringing him, he wouldve advised me to walk away at the price I paid.

I waited a couple of weeks to write this review to ensure that the car would continue to be solid and they werent just good at covering up major issues. Im happy to report that the car is solid and a great value for the price I paid.Tyler was my salesman, and he was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The owners, Chris and Whitney, were also very nice and accommodating. I decided last minute to drive up from Houston, and the three of them stayed past closing time to wait for me. They gave me a very competitive price for my trade-in, offered a reasonable price for my new-to-me CTS-V, had me in and out quickly and efficiently, and got my permanent plates to me in around two weeks.Im not sure how the transaction could have gone any more smoothly. They have a few standard cars, but specialize in pre-owned performance, exotic, and cars on the rarer end of the spectrum. I highly recommend them if youre in the market for that type of vehicle.

I didnt have a great experience. I was interested in a mustang that they were selling a day after they posted it. I called the people and we exchanged numbers on a time to be able to schedule a look at the car. I called him multiple times but he didnt answer and a week later the car ended up sold. I am an honest believer in customer and theirs was the worst Ive experienced.

The guys at Novak are amazing. I was able to get the best priced, low mileage CTS-V in Texas. I was willing to drive out of state for a great deal and by far, the deal was here in San Antonio. Tyler was vastly intelligent in the car I was looking for, and was able to help me learn about the options on the car. I wanted to have a few upgrades done to the car and mentioned this to them during the deal. They set me up with their performance shop, LEATHAL PERFORMANCE (#1 garage in Town too) who also set me up with preferred pricing as Novak called them and set up the upgrades I wanted. Even with the upgrades I was adding, Chris, the owner set up the deal so that I paid less than I was going to have with “Texas Hot Rides” who was in Dallas. I paid about two thousand less than TX Hot rides wanted for the same car with 78k miles; the CTS-V I got from Novak had 61k so almost 20k less miles. I would have to say that Chris and his family at Novak went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME and was low pressure, making sure I was happy. Without them I would have paid more and gotten less car and the folks in Dallas were asking me to put down a deposit one the first call to them, which was not cool. The most important part of dealing with them was by far the personal experience. Getting to know them over a weeks time buying the car from them, I had a personal family emergency and Chris caught word of it and he personally called/texted me during that ordeal and it was just after the deal closed. Most other places would have not even bothered to have been concerned but he took it upon himself to keep in touch and on top of all the other things, this was by far what was the best part of dealing with them. A+++ in knowledge, A+++ in customer service, and the deal was the best I could find. I’m very happy I chose them for my beautiful car. I wired the money, and with in 24 hours, the title was at my door step. Within 2 days of that, the car was loaded up (with pictures and videos sent from Chris) in a closed trailer and shipped to FL. I drove down to San Antonio earlier this week for the prospect of buying a Mercedes cls63amg from Chris and his dealership Novak Motorsports. I was impressed with just the knowledge of high-end cars that these guys possessed. I never felt pressured, I always felt in control of the situation when I was buying the car and these guys definitely know what theyre talking about when it comes to sports cars and high-end cars I can. That and they just treat their cars very well. Chris put tinted windows, change the oil and put new $1,000 on the car that I ended up buying at his own cost which Im sure is not very common place in the industry. I can almost guarantee you that if you buy a high-end car in the San Antonio area from Chris or anyone at his dealership that youre going to get a car that was very well taken care of. These guys told me they dont buy cars with previous accident reports they only want high quality vehicles that can be resold in the future by the folks that buy from them. I had a nightmare of a Time trying to secure financing and it took me 5 hours at the dealership to get everything done but the guys there were very patient with me. Definitely going to check back with them when Im in the market again in a few years. Great experience overall.

I did not end up purchasing a vehicle(timing wasnt right) but Harrison Smith is the most helpful sales person I have ever worked with. He really will go out of his way for customers. Give this dealership a look if you are in the market.

Smith was amazing he was all ways there from the beginning to the end. No bs no hidden cost or anything like that.
