I was disappointed in the customer service. I dropped my car off @ 7:35am. When I scheduled, I was told that I could have a loaner vehicle if available. I was then told at drop off that they never have loaner vehicles. I never received a call or text message updating me on the status. When I had not heard from them, I called only to be told that they closed at 2 pm. I had to rent a car so that I could go to work on Monday ($210). I called service dept Monday morning around 8am only to be told that my car was ready. The rental car expense could have been avoided if the service department had communicated with me on Saturday.
Scheduled an oil change and tire rotation early on a Saturday morning. I was greeted promptly when I arrived and was out the door in less than and hour. The whole process from scheduling the appointment to having my KIA serviced was quick and simple. Nice and friendly staff.
Had an appointment and still waited I believe an hour or so. The gentlemen that helped was very friendly and came up to us right away.The people working the receiving in the office were not to much in helping the customer. Seemed like they were in the own little world.I never received the gap coverage refund. I was toldI did not have an refund even though I paid my loan earlier then expected. There you have it. Not a happy camper.
I appreciate the person who welcomed me that morning because he was the only person who showed professionalism. I am really disappointed with the cashier service because she was rude answering my questions about my vehicle and I wasnt disrespectful and also I went to the other staff to ask him about the next service of my vehicle and he also was rude he gave me a vague answer just like he want me to leave. I always ask for the records where all the checks were done in my vehicle and I dont know why the last 4 visits they have excuses for not to give them to me. They say because the printer is not working but it is working to give me the bill, they say the system it is not working, but still they can get my information and the bill, the last visit before this they say they were getting a new system, now the cashier said they are not giving that information and if something is wrong they will let the client know. I believe if is my vehicle and you are giving me a service and I am paying for it I have the right to ask for the records and also the right to have them.

I was running late, and was still welcomed with no problems. I couldn’t pick up my car till the next day and they didn’t give me grief about it. Everyone was just super helpful.
I went in for basic maintenance on my vehicle (oil and filter change), wasnt much of a wait time to have it serviced. No specific time frame on how long it was going to take, but was completed in a fast manner with little wait time (under an hour). Satisfied with the service and all around experience, will definitely be coming back for future services.
Wont let me give 0 stars.Only friendly person was the guy that opened the door. Service reps didnt acknowledge presence with a be right with you or anything. Took a few minutes me standing there for one to finally asked if they could help me. He was annoyed by me asking questions about my service account. Service rep never kept me informed of anything. I didnt see him rest of time there. My car was brought up and sat for 10 minutes before service manager brought paperwork. All service employees were on their personal phones paying no mind to me or other customer. Seat protector, service #, floor coveting left in car. Noone escorted to the car. Had halfway better service here before.
My wife and I went to World Car Mazda/Kia to look at the Mini van... what were we thinking?! LoL.... the Kia Telluride and the Kia Sorento were introduced to us by Jade car sales lady. These two vehicles wowd my wife and I. They are amazing and have all the bells and whistles. We did not make a purchase but I strongly recommend these two vehicles with amazing features. And we wanted to make sure we recognized Jade and her superb customer service. Very knowledgeable, very helpful and very professional. She the first female car salesperson weve ever seen. Shes Not pushy or overly aggressive unlike many salespersons. Jade however did make some aggressive offers that made it difficult for us to decide. She fought for the best possible price for us.My wife and I purchased another type of vehicle but have had the Telluride and Sorento on our minds ever since. Thank you for all your help Jade. Well be sure to recommend you and the vehicles and we maybe back ourselves to see Jade if we decide on another vehicle.

Was set up for appointment time & arrived 20 minutes early to be on time. Car was taken back to be worked & was told it would take about an hour. Two & half hours later we were told it was ready & just had to pay bill. Walked up to woman we were told would take our payment & she said she didn’t have the papers. It was about 15 minutes later when we were called to her desk. The “greeter” who met with us shen we came in, rushed over at the same time saying he had to calculate the bill due. He handed it to the woman & we paid.
The service department was courteous, friendly and helpful. Work was performed as requested in a reasonable time. I highly recommend using World car Mazdas service department!

The worst experience I have had with any dealership service department. Took 4 months for them to look at my car and said engine is seized and tried to charge me for storage 2 days after I was informed about my car. After 4 months and 3 days I got my car towed to my house and found that the engine isnt seized, all bolts from engine removed and nowhere to be found. Worst place ever dont take your car to World Car Mazda in San Antonio. Mechanic didnt know what he was doing cause at the end I just replaced the starter and everything worked. $12k they said would cost to fix my car smh 😤. I paid $140 for starter and online reading and everything works.
I feel they just need to keep the customer inform of how long it will be and if any changes needed.
I really thought very hard before I wrote this review of this Dealership and especially their service department, but the mistakes that has happened to me there as a customer should have not ever occured. I will also state that mistakes are made, we are only human, but when they are constantly made everytime you have an appointment then there is a need to address these mistakes that have been made and correct these mistakes so they wont continue. The way that business is conducted there is in desperate need of an overhaul!!! Communication is desperately needed, Not ensuring that parts are ordered, parts not being put back CORRECTLY, and most of all damaging items on my vehicle, power hub for my cameras just ripped off from underneath my dash and put back, to fall out while driving home unplugging after market led strips and leaving it unplugged, to pinching the cable of my led light strips with the fuze compartment lid is unacceptable!! Work that the technicians that is done should be checked and all items corrected and customers informed about everything that was done including inspections need to be discussed with the customer and a copy of these results given to the customer. Service Manager mistakes ( Not ensuring that parts have been ordered, work done on vehicles checked to ensure that nothing is overlooked). Does not happen at this Dealership. I know I have had this happen to me two of the three times I have been there. This could really be a great dealership, with an excellent service department, but constant mistakes are the failures that this service has because of not checking work being done the right way on every vehicle that comes in for service is driving this service department to total failure!! Very sad that customers must check to ensure that work that they are paying hundreds for has been PROPERLY DONE!!!!!!!!

One downside was the sales guy I spoke with originally on the phone told me to come in the next day to look at a car, I was there but it was his day off. No better feeling than getting to ring that gong on the way out!EDIT BELOW AS OF 5/26/21Purchased my car 3 weeks ago and found out this weekend that the suspension was all messed up which caused irreparable damage to the tires. Called the dealership and they were NO HELP whatsoever. They very obviously did no maintenance or diagnostic on the car after buying it from the previous owner. Refused to work with me & told me they were going to charge me $200+ for a diagnostic that should have been covered with my warranty.These people do not care about your safety, your life or your livelihood. They only care about making a sale.I ended up going to one of their sister locations, World Car Mazda North in Live Oak who were shocked at the state of the car when I brought it in as well as the way I was treated by staff. World Car Mazda North really helped me feel safe. They replaced my tires, gave me a new suspension and full diagnostic- fully covered so there was no out of pocket cost.DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER.
Took my car in for a engine recall (No check engine light on, just adhering to the recall). After picking the car up yesterday morning and driving the car to work the same day my check engine light came on. I’m extremely confused because my paperwork said all engine checks were passed and no one mentioned there being anything wrong with the engine.
World car on Fredericksburg rd. The expirence was not up to par, their service department is horrible . I was told by the manager that they only have 2 people in service to get the car ready and apparently they dont have control of when these 2 people leave or they do what they want. They seem to be yes people and not tell you what exactly is going on. Took 2 days to purchase our car. Not the best expirence. If I could give any advice Id say to be honest and let the customer know what is going on rather telling them something to appease them. Other than that we love the new car so far.

I was ready to maintain my car and had $500 in my pocket. When i they were done ( 2.5 ) hrs later i asked if they recommend anything. They said NO so did they even check my car???? Jett, who happens to be their expert on Mazdas, helped me immensely. He told me exactly what was on my car and what kind of condition my car was in. What a great guy to deal with, so if you ever are in need of a vehicle Id highly recommend that you ask for Jett at World car Mazda.

This place will give you the run around. Don’t trust any quote or even mileage that they have on their site. I just wasted 300 miles on my vehicle for them to try and charge me 6,000 more then the “quote”. The(new) vehicle also had more than 3,000 miles on it when I was told it had 11. Untrustworthy and will never have my business. Very poor service for dealers who are in a bind with this vehicle shortage. They say no up charging but that clearly a lie.

Went in for simple oil change. The waiting room is dated and not welcoming, nor comfortable. You are not greeted by an employee as you drive in. There is no dealership experience. Will not be visiting this location again. Save your money and go to your local mechanic or try another KIA dealership would be my recommendation.

Went to World Car Mazda looking for a specific vehicle, the Kia Niro. For weeks I researched and looked for cars within my budget and specs that suited our needs. Right from the beginning when we walked in we were approached by Desiree C. She was absolutely the sweetest. She offered us two Kia Niro’s and offered the pros and cons of buying both used and new. What truly sold us on the the new vehicle was the lifetime warranty that covered the vehicle after the manufacture warranty. Soon after we took the time to test drive and discuss our financing options. Desiree focus on what we wanted, our budget and price, never once did we feel like this was the “typical”dealership experience: sales tactics, sharks, selling us on a different option, just another commission. The entire experience went extremely smooth and I couldn’t have been more thankful to have worked with someone like Desiree C. who was down to earth, honest and upfront. She made sure that our new car was washed, detailed, full tank of gas and ready to hit the road when we left -Thank you!As a side note, the biggest peeve for us was the time spent at the dealership. From past experiences and growing up around a dealership, I have always kept in mind that it’s an all day affair. I had hope that with us prepared and having the mindset of what we wanted and the means to do so that the process of buying a new car would have been a bit quicker. We arrived at 10:30AM and didn’t leave till almost 5PM. Although time was set aside, I feel like more than half my day was wasted just sitting around on my day off when I could’ve been buying groceries and preparing for our week ahead of us. I do hope that future car experiences will improve and make buy a car fast and easy.In conclusion, I would absolutely refer my friends and family to world car Mazda just to see Desiree and have a great experience!
I had to wait a month to get my car in for service and then when I finally got it back all my change had been stolen out of the cupholder.
The wait time was too long. Had an appointment at 9 am and wait time was 4 hours, for a $20 oil change; which cost me $64 as labor was $40.

I realized after buying the car that an extended service warranty was included in the cost of my loan. Service warranties can be canceled at any time. They made me drive from Austin,where I live, to the dealership to sign the cancellation paperwork-saying I had to come in person to do so-this is 2020 mind you. This was a month ago and come to find out the financial institution that holds my loan said they have yet to receive the cancellation. When I call to inquire about this, they send me to a full voice mail box of the finance manager every time. I’ve called back countless times telling them I need this solved ASAP. Without asking for my information for reference,they say they need to reach their corporate offices to address this but then say they cannot get ahold of anyone at corporate?!! I’ve sent emails as well and never get a response. When my tags were ready they called to tell me they could mail them to me, I said yes please. They never mailed them and when I finally found the time to drive to San Antonio to sign the cancellation paperwork, the first thing they asked me was if I was there to pick up the tags! After signing the paperwork for cancellation the finance manager asked smugly “you drove all the way from Austin just to sign this?” as if they had given me any other choice! I’m at the point of considering legal action, I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my entire life. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE.
Honestly, when we first pulled up to the sales office I thought it was a dive and was already thinking negatively. Mauricio Rivera and Nester were nothing but friendly and made the experience really easy. I believe these guys really care about making their customers happy in not settling for something they dont want. The vehicle we were looking for was sitting pretty on the showroom floor, for the right price, as I had searched high and low. So in reality the place was not a dive but simply a car showroom arena where folks can go in and possibly see the car theyve been looking for. Good job World Car Mazda Team!

Wish I had read the reviews prior to contacting this location. Found a car that Ive been looking for here and advised the sales manager (Steve) that I would be down in 7 days PPI done by BMW dealer and to then purchase the car this was 08/25/20 Set the appt with Celest and just today I log in to learn the car was sold to World Car Kia New Braunfels and wouldnt you know it, price is completed different, after contacting Steve, he wouldnt even get on the phone to confirm his action. I shouldve known better, he was so nasty and unprofessional and arrogant on previous phone calls. However, the internet sales rep Celest was so very easy to deal with and appeared she loved her job. She needs Steves Job, clearly hes just there to collect a check.
We made an appointment to see a Mazda3 and both the receptionist and a sales person called to confirm. When we got to this run down dealer, we were told it went in for inspection so we couldn’t see it. He offered to bring it to us the next day to test drive. The next day I text the receptionist and asked for a call back from sales. After no call back my husband called and was told our sales person didn’t show up. He asked if anyone could call us as we were very interested in this car. Neither of us ever received a call back, after 3 days of trying. We worked with several other dealers who all had great customer service. Never have I had to beg to see a car and have had to endure such horrible service. 2 stars is for the nice receptionist. Needless to say we purchased a vehicle elsewhere.

My perception was that of bait and switch financing. We went in for the special 120 day no payment, zero financing. We asked to be pre approved before we even considered a car. Up front, we were told that we could not get the zero percent financing. Steve said he could probably get us the no payment for the 120 days. Finally, we are so excited, pick out our car, we are told we got exactly what we wanted. Its time to sign the papers. Imagine our shock when the paperwork shows a payment due in a little over a month. Steve then tells us we dont qualify for that. We left without the car. We felt humiliated and lied to. Its as though they were counting on us being so in love with the car that we would agree to the bogus financing. We have called in to speak to Steves boss, but we never get a call back. We have written to their corporate headquarters without getting any response. We did not get any apology for a possible miscommunication.
Horrible service. I went to get a tire changed out using a warranty from when i purchased my vehicle in another state. I was also set to buy 3 extra tires... They had me wait 30 mins before telling me they could not get ahold of the company that the warranty is through, but enaured they would keep trying. After another hour they told me that they still could not reach the company, but even if they did that they are certain they would nkt honor the warranty due to the condition of my tire anyway... i spent an hour and a half waiting for them to tell me they couldnt help me.
Customer service over the phone was excellent, however Once I arrived that was a different story. I scheduled an appointment I arrives approximately 10 minutes early. I checked in I was asked to have a set at the table so I could get my application started. I sat at the table for almost 45 minutes. Several different salesman passed me by ( it was okay as they were assisting other customers). The sales leader that asked me to sit, past me a few times never acknowledge me and never came back over to give me any paperwork to start or even have the courtesy to let me know it was taking longer than normal.
I should say that Edward L Garcia III was a very courteous, knowledgeable, and pleasant salesperson. My frustrating experience with this dealership had nothing at all to do with him.It is the management and the internet sales, with their apparent deceptive trade practices, where my frustrations stem from.Long story short : they advertised a vehicle on several different websites for $16,499 and had the vehicle in their lot with the same price posted on the windshield in huge numbers. I test drove it, and liked it, but I did not want to use their in house financing. I told them I would come back with my own funds. When I checked a week later the car was still advertised online for $16,499. I set up an appointment to come and make the cash purchase. Then they changed the price to $18,499 both on the car and online. When I complained, the managment said they were sorry, but the other price was a mistake. And pretty much tough luck, but now you can buy it for $18,499. I left very disappointed.That was this afternoon. Tonight, they changed the online price again - down to $17,910. They will undoubtedly lure in another customer and say oh so sorry, that was a mistake.This place is goof balls.

Sold me a car full of some ones trash, tires were dry rotted and only at half pressure. I brought it back after two weeks for some maintenance, which they kept the car for three days and STILL didnt fix. Manager said he would exchange it but didnt keep his word on it.
Purchased a new 2018 CX-5 Grand Touring about a month ago. Honestly one of the best car buying experiences Ive had in a long time. Mr. James Luna was just awesome guy to work with!!The vehicle that we chose was on the showroom and Mr. Luna took his time explaining everything in detail. When it came to talk numbers, he didnt waste my time and made a deal happen really quick. We were able to see the car, test drive, work out a deal and drive away in less than 3 hours or so and Mr. Luna made sure we were happy with our purchase. He reached out a day later and a week later to make sure we didnt have any questions or issues with our vehicle. Really felt appreciated as a customer.Highly recommend this dealership and Mr. Luna to anyone.
If I could give this facility negative stars, I would! If you value your time and money then by all means, please steer clear of this place. World Car Mazda San Antonio provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life! For starters, it took 5 hrs. to walk out with the vehicle I inquired about and scheduled an appointment for 24 hrs in advance. On top of that, I was still treated like they could care less for my business after showing proof of excellent credit, a hefty loan over 30% of the vehicle of choice MSRP from a well known lien holder, making a down payment of 10% of the final price, and trading in my paid in full mint condition 2014 Ford Fusion SE. The sales manager, Jack Schmitz and car sales rep, Cris Cavazos ran an unnecessary credit check, lied to me, and gave me false information multiple times. The sales manager changed the agreed upon price over 3 times and the very first time I went to sit with the finance rep to finalize the sale, the paperwork did not show the discounts, down payment, or the fact that I traded in a vehicle. The trade in value was non-existent and the final price of the 2020 Mazda CX-5 we agreed upon was marked up by nearly $6,000 over the price I signed off on. I dont know what they were thinking. This was far from my first rodeo. Ive purchased/owned 3 cars. If my husband wasnt patiently waiting outside tending to our toddler, he wouldve given everyone an ear full. I had to beg the sales manager for a necessary genuine apology. I literally left World Car Mazda that night in tears. The only reason I gave them the time of day was because of the sweet receptionist, Angelica and caring finance rep, Saul. To make matters worse, its only been a month since Ive purchased the vehicle (brand new 2020 Mazda CX-5) with under 300 miles and I went to get in my vehicle Saturday morning to find the car completely dead. The battery died and the check engine light is on. It also took Mazdas so called emergency roadside service 2.5 hrs. to come give me a jump and tell me I needed a new battery. Lucky for me, the car was parked outside my home and I was out of harms way. I notified the sales manager and was simply told, Thank goodness for warranty. Are you kidding me? The dealer is closed for the weekend so I have to wait until Monday morning for any service. I intend to make another follow up post after my car is serviced. At this point Im full of regrets, and should have went to North Car Mazda instead.
I had an excellent experience with Ms. Mary in the service department. She was prompt in responding to my initial communication with the Service Department then tabulated a smooth process of getting in (I had to do two appointments as a part needing ordering), getting work done quickly, and ensuring all my concerns were addressed. In aspirin, everyone was very friendly and helpful overall and the wait was comfortable. They also worked with me on exactly how we handle my cars needs within my budget. I very much recommend working with them.

I came and traded in my vehicle and out of all the vehicles I have never had a female salesperson and to be honest I had been missing out. My sales person Mary Melchor was every polite, honest and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we came in to purchase. Also working with her manager Nestor was a pleasure he made us feel well informed and at ease with our purchase with our purchase. When I 1st got to the dealership it was nice but after a little while the sales people wasnt friendly. If I wasnt in the middle of the deal, I would have walked out. they could of offer me a drink for being there for must of the day. I did end up getting a truck from them on Saturday. As I was leaving my tire needed air and I didnt get my tank of gas like they said I would. As I got half way home, I started to hear a noise from under the truck. I called the dealership and told them about it. I told them I was going to take it to the shop and the manager said he would make it right. I told them it was in the shop Monday and I got a text back saying (COOL). I still havent hear from anyone to check up on my truck. The only thing I got is a text asking for my insurance for my truck. They could have asked how the truck is doing and if they could help me with anything. How hard is it to ask how is the truck??? Ms. Mary Malchor was my sales person and she was very courteous and accommodating. The process was fairly easy and pricing was competitive. I would recommend this dealership and their services to anyone looking for a vehicle. Not once did I feel uneasy about the purchase nor did any of my questions go unanswered. I will stick to the facts. I found a car online with low miles and a good price. It was listed at this location. I called and arranged to test drive it. Before I could arrive to test drive it, the car had been moved to their southside location near S. Zarzamora. That alone was not a problem, however, I was then informed that they raised the price by $1,000.It has been a back-and-forth. I expect them to honor the online price. The situation is, at this time, ongoing. Apparently, the online price listed was a mistake with Autotrader?? Not my fault.Meanwhile, I will keep looking.P.S. The two young ladies who are on the frontlines at both locations were very nice. Its not their fault either.

HoodwinkedI came in to get a trade-in assessment for my truck. After waiting a short while, the manager Nestor Quezada came by and showed me the trade-in value printed on a report.Since that was all I wanted, I told him thank you and reached for the paper.He pulled it away and said, if that’s all you need, then you don’t need this paper.I pressed the issue, and said all I wanted was the assessment.He tensely asked me point blank if I was even interested in buying a car from him, and I politely declined.After that, I was given the paper and he turned his back and left.With this level of prospective client care, I wouldn’t want to come back even if they paid me.
Had a great experience with the saleswoman, Mary Flores. She was patient, knowledgable and honest! She made me feel comfortable about trading in my vehicle and getting a new car. She did not make me feel pressured and was very understanding. I traded in my 2013 Mazda 3 for a 2015 Mazda 3 Sport and feel great about it! Would highly recommend working with Mary, she is great.
I had a wonderful experience with both Mary and Mario. They were very helpful and patient with me with my hundreds of questions. Mary definitely knows how to make sure you test drive a vehicle the right way before purchasing too! Honest sales people at this place who will definitely take the edge off the care buying pressure.
I bring my cars for service here all the time. I always have a pleasant experience. Its nice that they have started to offer snacks for those of us waiting for our vehicles to get serviced. Shuttle service is nice also. Gilbert, Mateo and Edward are always my go to guys..always informing me as to the progress of the work being done.
Was helped by Edward today. I told him what I needed and when he went to show me the cars he had the very first one was the perfect one. He was very personable and was able to help me in the process making it less stressful and very fun. He was helpful to me and my mother who had plenty of questions which he answered. I would recommend this dealership and Edward in particular to my friends and family.
Update (4/10/2018)I am downgrading the review to 2 stars due to the fact that World Car still has not proceeded to repair the damage that was present at time of sale as well as work with me regarding the oil change. I called World Car and talked to the Manager that sold me the vehicle and he told me he was going to call back after the staff meeting they had last Friday and I still have not received a call back.October 2017World car gave me a really good deal but there are a few reasons why I decided to give only 3 stars.1. They were supposed to follow up regarding some paint chips that was on the car prior to sale plus they just wanted to do a touch up. Its a brand new car not used. Still waiting on the follow up call regarding the paint repair which leads me to the 2nd reason.2. After the sale was finalized they acted like they were done with us. It seemed as if they just wanted us out of their hair and the salesperson, Mary, didnt even shake our hands once everything was completed. Her communication at first was pretty poor until I came in asking for the manager.3. Mary didnt really seem that knowledgeable on the vehicle options and talked about a few things with false information. I went in with a fair amount of knowledge and research on the vehicles and it kind of put me off. If I wasnt very knowledgeable on the vehicle I probably would have believed her.
Talk about great customer service! These guys are awesome. Especially Carlos. He made it more than a consumer experience. With a large amount of cars well under the MSRP, this is a great place to look for a new or used car.
I cant say enough great things about this place. We have never bought a new car and were nervous about being conned or pressured into something we didnt want. But from the second we walked up we were greeted by Kelsey who helped us with our sale and she was so nice and easy to work with. We never felt pressured into anything and the whole process was so easy. I will recommend World Car Mazda to any of my friends who are needing a car.

Horrible! Talked to Jamey (sp?) in internet sales. Very nice and cordial. I told her what I saw online (Mercedes) and wanted to buy it if it was as advertised. I told her I would be there inside of 30 minutes, she told me she would call a manager and have it waiting out front for me to test drive. Once I arrived the car was nowhere to be found. My wife and I walked in and stood no more than 8 feet away from three sales managers. I watched one of them berate a sale person (totally unprofessional) in plain sight. None of the sales managers even asked us if we needed anything. Finally a salesman approached us and I told him about talking to Jamey and the car etc. He asked the sales managers about it, I saw the three of them lean in to discuss and no one even looked on line and sent the salesman back to us. He then told us the car was sold and would show us something else. I expressed how unprofessional everything was and he agreed and apologized. He was courteous but the sales managers were old school unprofessional sales tactics. I complained to Jamey about it and wanted a manager above them to call me. If they don’t know they can’t fix it. I guess they knew because nobody called me back. Will never buy there and wouldn’t recommend anyone there either
This place needs a remake, the sales offices everything looks super outdated, only good thing is the friendly staff
