To say this is your average stereo shop is laughable. This store and its employees are top notch individuals that ensure the job is done right the first time. I went to a stereo shop before this which gave me an uneasy feeling. They said they would have my stereo done in 4 hours which for me was red flag as my car is an older BMW and I did not want it flying apart and being slapped back together in 4 hours, no thank you! King, Memo And Chencho did an amazing job on mica so much so that I can not tell they were even there. I cant tell what they took apart as it is all flawless. I do know that my little car sounds AMAZING! If you are looking for a FAMILY owned business that treats YOU like one of their own then this is the stereo shop for you! I mean its THREE BROTHERS that have been in business for 25 years! Such nice honest people are hard to find. Come here for any of your Stereo needs you will not regret it!

Took my 2021 Bmw to Alamo Auto yesterday! I wasnt sure what tint to get. They explained it all to me in full detail. They were incredibly friendly and I am so happy with the results! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Im so glad I chose this place! I will definitely go back! Great experience all the way around! #veryhappycustomer!!! #super friendly staff!!!

Amazing, fast, and super friendly service! I was having doubts about hard wiring a dash camera into my fuse box, so I called and Willam came to the rescue! I was in an out in a matter of minutes, and they only charged me for the labor/convenience. I couldnt be happier, helped me wire it directly to the battery and it works better than ever! Definitely will keep this place in mind if I want some audio work done here!

These guys are the best in SA. Installed in my 1957 Cadillac complete radio and stero system. Backup camera with Bluetooth to Garmen screen. LED light upgrade. Fixed Electric trunk opener. Many other small repairs. Not afraid to tackle work on classic high-end cars.

I had new front speakers installed in my 2016 Kia Sorento and they sound amazing! Alamo Auto Sound is a locally owned family business that provides excellent value and service- does it get any better than that? Best Buy couldnt schedule an installation until three weeks out and Alamo did it same day, while I waited!They are now my go-to provider for auto sound/tech needs.

Alfred was very kind in pointing me out to William aka Memo, whom was able to troubleshoot and fix the issue for me for an affordable price! Very respectful guys and we shared some great conversation. He even helped with my headlight and is looking into another issue for me! I highly Recommend these guys To get the job done!

I tried to hook up an amp and stereo myself and had it kinda working but things were not right. I brought my truck to the guys here at Alamo and they treated me like a good friend. They were professional, quick, fair, and just fun to be around. I spent about twice what I was thinking when I headed there but it was justified by what I needed to get my stereo to how I wanted it. I cant say enough if you want great stereo sound and want it done right go see these guys.

I went to get my sound system fixed at electronics 2000 and received a $100 quote for the job at hand after the initial diagnostics... 7 hours later a received a tab for almost $800 because they couldn’t figure out how to fix the issue and told me in order to finish the job I had to pay for extra maintenance.. long story short I came here to Alamo Auto Sound & Security and off the bat the customer service was light years ahead. On top of that they were able to back track on my previous problems and fixed everything on under 2 hours.. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for premium quality sound system installment. A++

Bought a new audio system from Crutchfield and decided it might be more complicated to install than I thought. Called Alamo Auto Sound & Security and asked if they could help. They saw me same day. Installed equipment within an hour. Then they went over the equipment with me. Really friendly, helpful folks! System works great. I will definitely call these guys next time.

Everyone here is amazing. One of the very few shops in town that solder all their wire connections. No t-taps found in the installs here. That’s hard to find now a days.

They push warranty issues to the end of the day, and still can not fix tint issues or alarm issues correctly or timely. They kept asking to bring the vehicle back over and over again. I am not impressed. They have wasted my sisters time and my friends time over and over.

I dont generally provide poor reviews, but in the case of Alamo Auto Sound, Ill make an exception.Would not provide estimate on a 6K job; wanted to do the job and then tell me how much. Initially said they could do the fiberglass, but ended up trying to get me into a subbox. Tried to sell me overpriced equipment.I went to Alamo Auto Sounds to get a fully custom audio install done for my new 2010 Subaru. I was expecting to pay about 4,000-6,000. I asked them to quote me a price on the install, and also gave them the option to provide me with the components if they wanted.Trying to speak with Richard who does pricing was crazy. He never returned my calls, he was never at the office when I drove by (door was locked) and when I went to the installer area, all I got was; Yea, wed be happy to do it, go talk to Richard to price it out.When I called back the 6th time to get an estimate, I got Typically, people just drop off their car, we do the work, then charge them.After 6 weeks, I finally gave up, and Im actually glad I did. I found a different installer who did the custom sound install, and their work was much better.These guys are probably fine for installing a head unit in a older model car, but Id stay away from them if you want any work done over $200

Dont go anywhere else.. These guys are up to the challenge of whatever you bring to them. I have a 15 passenger van and they installed a head unit, 2 drop down monitors, put in a rear view camera, bluetooth for the phone and put usb charging ports in every row. The owner Richard is very nice and will work with you on the price and customize your ride just how you want it. After reading many reviews of other places in town i decdided to give these guys a try (due to almost all 5 star reviews) and I couldnt have been happier. I promise you wont regret your decision.

I called and spoke with one of the main guys, Will. He provided me his personal cell number to discuss an install. I confirmed, two weeks prior to a date, that I was to be scheduled. I again confirmed two days prior to that, both times confirming I had an appointment. Again, the day before the install, I texted and Will said he would call me in the morning. I let him know I had a busy Saturday and would like a definitive time to plan accordingly. I never received a text back or call on Saturday, and he has still not call or text back with an apology. With over two weeks to plan for my install and multiple texts confirming he would take care of me, this is just the definition of horrible business. I chose them over custom sounds bc custom sounds is overpriced and never does a good job at installing radios. I should know, I have had 3 installed there, all with problems. I guess if youbwant something done right u have to do it yourself. I would NOT RECOMMEND ALAMO SOUNDS simply based off of my customer experience.
