Dr. Cummings was very kind and knowledgeable and walked me through all of my questions and concerns. The staff were amazing and spent the time to help me learn how to put on and remove contact lenses. I felt very comfortable during my visit and was satisfied with my new prescription.

I wanna know why my phone calls go unanswered. In reviewing my call log, I placed 10 calls on Friday, and 2 calls this morning (×××.×××.4999). None have been answered and the calls are terminated w/o the ability to leave a message. I need youll to look in my file and call the phone on record. This is beyond frustrating.

Staff is super friendly with my boys! Facility is always clean. There is never a wait, we are seeing at our appointment time. Great selection of glasses and reasonably priced.

Probably the best I’ve ever been to. Everyone was very professional and kind, and gave clear simple instructions helpful for folks with anxiety. No pressure to purchase anything, they asked if I had questions etc. They were efficient, but didn’t make me feel rushed. They were WAY better than other nearby places I’ve been to.

Dr. Cummings very thoroughly and patiently examined and explained everything. I am very thankful for the safety protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic (by appointment only, pre-screening, taking temperature, mandatory mask wearing and actively sanitizing throughout the appointment). I also appreciated the laminated prescription card. I am an extremely satisfied customer.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. They are very knowledgeable and take time to explain insurance coverage. They are patient with my son who gets a little anxious during his eye exam. The Optometrist explains everything he does and takes his time to answer your questions. I have been going her 5+ years now and highly recommend them.

Will never come back horrible service was told my exam was covered and now I’m being told only a portion was covered after the fact and I have a balance this was something I went over in great detail the day I got my exam. Insurance is not a guessing game it’s not even hard to deal with so if you don’t know the payments for you patients don’t make them up then change them later. I wasn’t even going to initially complain about the limited selection of over priced glasses either I was going to ignore that and give a good review based on seeing me quickly when I needed to be seen. But no part of coming here was worth it.

I’ve been going here for years. Everyone in the office is extremely kind and professional. I have an eye condition that requires special fittings and lenses, and Bella Optical has always been able to provide me with the proper treatment and products. I’ve never had anything to complain about.

I hadn’t been to the optometrist in almost 10 years due to a very bad experience. I was so relieved when I visited Bella! They were fast, efficient, friendly, and made sure to explain everything in perfect detail! I even purchased my glasses here as well and the person that helped me was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I don’t feel like I have to put off my next eye exam for 10 years!

I went to get my prescription since I lost my glasses took my previous prescription with me since I had to change doctors due to my insurance change. I bought glasses from here also. Took 2 weeks to receive my glasses. When putting them on now I cant see near and couldnt even wear them 24hrs. I called to let them know. They scheduled me another appointment taking my old prescription again Dr changed my prescription and now saying I have to pay full price for lenses when this shouldve been what was ordered the 1st time. Now Im stuck with glasses I cant wear.

Dr. Amir has taken wonderful care of my eyes for decades, and I wouldn’t trust my vision to anyone else. The staff at Bella optical are very responsive.

Helpful staff, affordable prices, and I felt that I was truly cared for. Knowledgeable staff, they took time to explain the process and answer my questions. Also, got a little pocket card with my prescription that I thought was a nice touch. They were also helpful when I had to call and look up my contacts prescription later. Highly recommend!

I ordered glasses that I was told would be delivered by Friday, 1/31/20. On 1/29/20 I received a call that the lab had broken the frames upon insertion of glasses. I was then told that the frames would be overnighted to the lab and I would get my glasses by 2/7/20. I felt that Bella Optical took the its not our fault or problem attitude very while showing little, if any, compassion towards my need for my new glasses. I called again a week later on 2/5/20, and was told they would look into my order and call me back later that day. I never received a call. I called back on 2/6/20, only to be told that the lab never received the frames and that Bella would have to call to see what happen. In addition was told would not receive my glasses by 2/7/20. I understand I am not Bellas only patient, but I would assume since I was noticably upset by the delay because I was in need of my new glasses Bella Optical would at least make sure the frame was shipped and received, apparently not the case. And when I asked why the promise to call me back in 2/5/20 was not followed through, the the answer was their is no excuse. With all due respect, I am disappointed by the service I have been given. This was different from my first experience with Bella Optical and unfortunately this will most likely be the time I choose Bella Optical and will never recommend them to my friends and peers. Very, very disappointed.

Ive been going to my eye doctor for over 20 years; unfortunately they were closed when I finally made time to get my eyes checked. I took a chance and went to try Bella Optical, it was the last minute, but they did have a cancellation, so I was able to get an eye exam. The team was friendly from the check-in all the way to eyeglass fitting. I always had the same prescription but was struggling with the computer for the past three years, this team helped resolve the problem. Impressed and very happy with this team.

Dr A and his staff are always concerned very helpful. Never have I felt Ive paid too much for anything. A wonderful, unique experience. The service is okay but the frames are way overpriced. Ive been duped for many years and their strategy is, their display do not have prices. The frame that was priced 185.00 at Lens crafters was sold by Bella for 249.00. Go to Lens crafters for better deals and more styles to choose from.

Please choose another store.These people are very unhelpful.I was in a different city and lost my contact lenses. I called them to get my power testing results so that I could go to a local optometrist to get new contacts. They refused to share my power testing results with me, citing privacy reasons and HIPAA. I am a physician myself and know a little more about privacy and HIPAA than they do.I had to cut my trip short and fly back home because these people refused to share my own power testing results with me.Please learn from my experience.

This clinic is excellent!!This was my first time setting up an appointment to see Dr Erick and he was very professional; carefully checked my eyes thoroughly and answered all my questions.Every time I called the clinic the receptionist always answered and never put me on hold, also they have no automated machines answering during business hours, when I showed up I was helped immediately, no waiting in line for hours like other places. I do not have health insurance so they gave me a discount and the appointment fee was very affordable. I was given a couple of prescriptions for my eye lid infection which irritated my eye as well so after taking the medication for a few days everything went very well and my eyes are healthy again thanks to Dr Rick.I highly recommend this clinic, theyre affordable, friendly, professional, and like I mentioned before you dont have to wait forever in the waiting area and they pick up the phone when you call.Dr Erick and Bella optical: Thank You!!

Was refered here by a friend. Picked the glasses I wanted yet they didnt have it in stock and they billed my insurance so they said I couldnt get a refund. Finally picked out glasses over a month later. Did get a discount though for the inconvenience and they do have good friendly customer service. Just wish I had a better experience to get my glasses in a timley manner.

Update: I just wanted to add something incredible about this place that happened last week. It was the day before my scheduled C-section, and I had lost one of my contacts. When I went to get more, I realized that I was actually out. I called Bella Optical, and not only did they order me a a new box, but they also gave me two contacts to take to the hospital as well as a travel-size saline solution for my hospital bag. This just shows you the level of commitment they have to their customers. I couldnt be happier that I found this place when I first moved to San Antonio 8 years ago.------------I am really happy I found this place. They were not only accomdating with my schedule, but I also did not have to wait long for my eye exam. The staff was friendly and Dr. Amir was great at explaining everything. A really wonderful place and experience.

Second time Im having to wait for a month! Wont be using bella optical again!! Waiting several weeks for glasses is completely unacceptable. When you spend near $1,000 for glasses and get the run around, you feel cheated. I brought my glasses in under warranty on June 3rd and am now told that I wont get them back until June 29th.....MAYBE! What a joke.

The entire staff is so patient and vey customer oriented. I went in after working 12 hrs in an er, and they made it a very relaxing and informative visit. They are very knowledgeable of my eye problem when I recently went in. I have been there for eye exams and treatment for dry eye. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions I had/have at appointments. Dr. Cummings took the time to explain everything to me after diagnosing my problem. Bella Optical is a great place to go for basic eye exams to having any issues with your eyes checked out. I am very happy having Bella Optical as my optometrist.
