We met with Jason regarding window replacement in a 40+ year old home. We have consulted with a few companies due to the sticker shock that comes with window replacement/home remodels. Takes 15-20 minutes to get a person on the phone then another 10-15 minutes to try and speak to Michelle only to leave a voicemail with no response. They were quick to deposit check but delay in responding to a justified question for status of refund.

Worst customer service EVER...I called twice and waited more than 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Then when they finally answered and I told them I need to speak to a intelligent person about there blinds they transferred me me to the San Antonio location and once again the phone rang several times and finally a answering machine stated that they couldnt get to me until the next 2 business days. What a joke.. I dont recommend them for any kind of service...theyll just put you off until they are ready to assist you

I rarely write reviews (good or bad) unless I feel it is warranted. Since I often use Google and Yelp to help me decide which company to use for services, I decided to provide feedback regarding the experience we had with this company located on Randolph Blvd. My family had windows and siding installed, cost was around $27,000 - $28,000. The quality of product was GOOD, installation process FAIR, customer service and communication POOR.This is our experience with Champion Windows and Home Exteriors:Signed contract 2020 with changes added next day, received copies of all amended contracts. Representative reported siding would not be ready for 2-3 months. My family requested to have windows and siding installed at the same time. Windows arrived in December 2020 and siding arrived March 2021. Installation team arrived 1st week in March, quickly started working and by the time we saw it, we noted that they had ordered the wrong size siding. At this point, things progressively went downhill. I contacted customer service and discussed the amended contract and they admitted this had NOT been updated by the representative (who was no longer working with Champion). We were never informed of the new representative assigned to our project and never met him during the whole process. I spoke with the regional installation manager who assured me they would make it right.They were able to expedite the delivery of correct siding. We appreciated all the effort regarding getting the request expedited. The installation team was cordial, friendly, and worked hard. However, some of the sloppiness and poor communication was arduous and very disappointing. 1.) They covered the dryer vent and left for the day, we started using the dryer and saw that the utility room became heated, next day discussed with onsite installer. 2.) Installed windows, left for the weekend did not insulate around edges and left the torn siding with exposed wood and rain in the forecast. My husband had to cover windows with plastic. Inside the house, found nails left on floor and had to clean up. 3.) While working on siding, our phone stopped working and light switch burned out with electrical smell. When we addressed this with our installation representative, we were told they didnt touch anything must be because our house is old. We called telephone company and electrician on same day. Master electrician reported light switch on porch was shorted during installation, he worked on area and outlet for 2 hours to rectify damage. Telephone company reported outlet had been covered by siding installation and he had re-route the phone line for access. 4.) Finally, had to make several follow up calls to installation team leader to find out when he was returning to complete the job, since windows had not been caulked 5.) After 2 weeks of having all the equipment and trash in our back yard, they came to pick up equipment but did not do sweep for nails and pieces of trash. We continue to find pieces of glass, siding and nails in our yard. 6.) I called regional installation manager, left voicemail message for return call to discuss customer service concerns. NO return call. We went to office talked with office manager and requested call back... still waiting. We have decided this is NOT a company we want to use again. Please make sure you also read Yelp reviews as well.

I asked for a price breakdown of the front door and sliding door upgrade..they were running a special of 40% off these products, but the price seemed to be inflated to make it seem like they were giving you a deal. I asked for a price breakdown of what is all included before finalizing numbers, and the sales rep called his manager for that information. When his manager, Robert, got on the phone, he responded to my request by stating (sanitized version of the statement):why does he need a breakdown? Do you go to the store and ask for a breakdown on a price of bread?unfortunately for Robert he was loud enough to hear without speakerphone, and I promptly sent the sales rep out of my house. Robert could not be a Manager or a decent human being to apologize for his out of pocket remarks, so I will not be recommending champion in the future.

Great service and very detailed about the service and warranty questions we had.

Customer service was great until after the install. The windows are nice, but the guys didnt really go over anything with me after they were done and I dont know much about windows but when my husband got home we noticed that there a dent in one of the windows and it wasnt closing all the way. Also they put a piece of wood over both windows so that they would fit. I wouldnt have mind had they at least let me know. The installers were nice and it wasnt their fault but when I called our sales guy back a few hours later to let him know, he texted me at almost 9pm to tell me to call the office in the morning and I never heard back from him again. I feel like texting is very unprofessional especially that late in the evening. As a business owner myself, I felt that he should have at least followed up with us. The next day the woman at the office said they would send over someone in a couple of days- but of course she couldnt even schedule a repair ticket until we paid in full. She didnt even apologize for the inconvenience and had no empathy at all. The salesman made it clear that we didnt have to pay in full until the job was complete and in my opinion it was not complete. I was not happy with waiting a couple of days because now I had to reschedule the security alarm company because the windows werent complete. She called back awhile late and said someone would come fix it in a few hours. A few hrs later 2 teenagers showed up, banged on the window a bit and got it to close. They said someone else would come in the evening to fix the dent part. I asked about the wood and their answer is we dont paint. All 3 people that day said they would have the project manager call us back with options on what to do - it has been a week and no follow up or call from anyone. These windows werent cheap and I am very disappointed with the company especially for the amount of money we paid. Im glad we only did the 2 windows first vs the entire house. I highly doubt that we will be doing the rest of the house with this company. I feel like as soon as they got their sale they didnt care anymore. Dont get me wrong, the windows do their job (the house feels much cooler now) but I do value customer service and they clearly dont have it.

Champion just finished up doing 17 windows in my house. From the time we got an estimate to the time the job was completed, they were nothing but professional and timely. Install day the crew showed up on time, worked all day cleaning up as they went. Besides the beautiful windows and excellent work you would have never known installers had been at the house. That is how great of a job they did with their work. They took pride not only in their product but the job itself. Highly recommend Champion!!

Going on 20 weeks of this project and still can’t get an answer on the date of delivery. Most incompetent company I’ve ever dealt with. Customer service is absolutely terrible. You will never get the product you pay for!!! Don’t use this company!!! They are horrible!!! I want my money back!!!May 25th update. They scheduled today for my install. No one showed up and no I e ever called me. Turns out they scheduled me and didn’t even have my windows. Called region manager and he said he couldn’t get ahold of anyone. How can the manager not be able to contact the store?!?! No one has called me or reached out to reschedule.May 22nd update. 16 weeks now. Still missing the 3 windows and I keep getting lame excuses from the champion rep about the glass being broken upon delivery. I am so fed up with this company. I feel like I’ll never get my windows. I’m going to file a report with the better business bureau! Do not use this company!!!May 10th Update for the below review. It has now been 14 weeks since I originally ordered my windows. 3 weeks ago they installed 75% of them. However one of the windows was the wrong size so that had to be reordered and they completely didn’t even have two of my windows. I have been calling every week and there is still no estimated date for my windows. They say to call their customer service and they will make it right but that is a lie. I have the “area managers” number and I still don’t get answers for an estimated date. If you care at all about timing for your project...do not use them!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They put ALL of their effort into the sales pitch and then completely fall off from there. They told me it would be 6-10 weeks for the manufacturer to build my windows (far longer than the other companies I got estimates from). It has now been 10 weeks and my windows still haven’t arrived. I’ve tried calling to check on the status and every single person I talk to just tries to point me to a different person because they don’t have any information. They won’t let you speak to anyone actually at the manufacturer to try to get information. There is literally no one that is helpful. I chose this company because I thought after meeting the sales rep that the customer service would be good. But I can see after just trying to get a date from them that it won’t be. I’m terrified now about how the install process will be. Ive already made two payments and still don’t have an install date. I wish I would have used a local family owned company. I’m beyond aggravated with Champion Windows. Huge mistake! If I could cancel my contract I would.

WORST (almost unbelievable) customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered 10 windows in August. 8 weeks later, they installed 8 of the 10 windows (because they mis-ordered 2 of the windows). They promised to put a rush on the re-order of those 2 windows and I added 2 more windows with a promised “rush” delivery NLT 18 Nov (this gave them 5 WEEKS lead time. They said, it would be no problem at all). I had a bad feeling, so I called once a week for 5 weeks...each person I spoke with told me they would check on my order and ensure they met the 18 Nov deadline they had promised. When I made my 5th call to the San Antonio office on 12 Nov, someone finally revealed they “forgot” to put a “rush” on my order. I asked that their manager, Abel Garcia call me. On 19 Nov, I called back again because after a week, I still had not been contacted. I called again, this time she said, “great news, we can get them installed by Thanksgiving” and she promised to elevate my request for a phone call to Mr. Garcia’s supervisor. It’s now 1 Dec...it’s been over THREE MONTHS since my initial order...and over 6 WEEKS since my reorder...only 9 of the 10 original windows have been installed (one of which was mis-measured for a second time). The additional 2 windows still have not been installed despite being promised a 18 Nov and then a NLT 25 Nov delivery...and despite THREE requests over a 3 week period for a manager to call me, I have literally been ignored (probably because I finally asked for a 10% “we’re so sorry for the inconvenience” discount. If customer service matters to you...I definitely would not recommend Champion Windows.

Sales: We called Champion during the holiday season to quote windows. Our Salesman Eric drove up from San Antonio to Austin to cover the territory. Eric was excellent in explaining the quality, construction, warranty, benefits, and cost of the windows. He was also flexible in negotiations and advocated equally well for both us as the customer and for the company. He followed up post install and continues to engage as needed.Measurement: Terry came out and measured the windows and everything came back manufactured precisely to fit our home. He was professional, efficient, precise, and punctual.Installation: I believe the crew leader was named Abel. We replaced 18 windows with 15 (turned 6 of the side by sides into 3 large sliders) the crew got it done in 6 hours! They were super professional and left the house as clean, inside and out, as when they arrived. There were two small nicks in the walls that we pointed out post install. Terry came within the week to patch and paint.Our home is quiet and we can totally tell the difference in how well our home maintains constant temperature and humid levels now as compared to pre-Champion windows.I recommend this company and more specifically this team of professionals as well as the quality products 10/10!

All was TOP NOTCH! From the time Paul came over and explained all until the windows and doors were installed. The perfectly made products were professionally installed ahead of schedule, and added so much to the quality of my home. More benefits than I imagined, and will enjoy for years to come!

Great windows great service

We selected Champion Windows to install a sunroom on the back of our house. The salesman, Paul, was very patient with us as we tried to determine if we wanted to take on this project. He listened and understood our apprehension on starting this project but he never, not once, minimized our concerns. We went ahead with the project and to my delight, the installation team, lead by Abel, was amazing! They were very courteous and made sure to clean up behind themselves. We are so happy with our sunroom!This year we decided to replace the windows in our home and once again, we called Champion and once again Paul came to assist us and was as courteous and patient as he was the first time.It is very refreshing to know that from the beginning to the end of our projects all of the people we interact with at Champion Windows, including Dee in the San Antonio office, are there for us. Not just from the beginning to the end of the project but long after the project is finished. They make us feel like were family, not just customers.

I had a sunroom installed a few years ago, my door handle has broken on one of the sliding glass door, I called the San Antonio office a few days ago, left a message and still no call back! I called in the mean time and no one answers. Customer service after the sale needs improvement.

About 6 years ago, some of my windows started to stick. Could hardly open them. Now theyre all doing it! If I had to go through a window in case of an emergency, I cant open them myself. They were put in my home in 2004 when it was built. This shouldnt be happening. My other home had older windows and I never had a problem. Why is it hapoening with these windows?
